You really left us hanging on that Rogue Gear!?? I came to this video to get an idea of the best Min/Max gear that goes with these abilities! Is it best to lean into affliction based gear or run the amulet that makes all standard enimies low heath and then the helmet with low health? do we lean into all affliction or damage? Make a video that focuses on just the Rogue and all aspects of the build!!
I'm playing a flaming weapon/perfect parry Warden and lovin it. Def not my style to stay back and throw the shield. I gotta be IN THERE with my warrior.
@eduardomontovanellidalmaso6067 Nah, it's butter if you build into Champ. You can parry even heavy attacks and with the right gear & perks you will shred enemies. Just pick the companions that enable you to crit, & you IN THERE!
@@eduardomontovanellidalmaso6067 I played until Davrin as a warrior on nightmare and then switched to mage also on nightmare. Trust me, warriors have it easy.
I'm excited to try some of these but I'm slowly making my way through the game trying not to rush. Since there's really nothing else good to play at the moment to February.
It kinda sucks that the reaper class kinda force you to use shields. Like the playstyle is fine but since we have one class for each weapon set it be nice for the third class to either tailor to both (meaning skills for both weapon sets) or have all the skills be useable for both weapon meaning more general
I am so sick and tired of nothing but spell blade builds. But that is just me. I prefer staff mage builds. The staff is just better, doesn't matter if it does more or less damage. I like to be more range but also a charged staff blast is satisfying or the jump and slam the staff AOE. The channeling ranged is also a great for weakpoint damage.
I'm with ya here. I'm doing a deathcaller build that I've been loving. I can link the video I took pointers from if you'd like, but I've not followed it to a T
@paulb4480 i think that's kind of the point of the whole death caller tree in general. Just like only one build really makes effective use out of the orb and dagger. I'm only like lvl 33 or something atm, so I don't have the consume health instead of mana node yet, but it's very effective already. And when I get low, I just do the channel to get my mana back. But most normal packs are done before that's an issue.
I get what you mean but if Spell Blade has the higher damage output then their going to be the OP Builds that people use to get through fights quickly.
Totally different from last game my favorite type of build is immortal unkillable tank warrior sword and shield type of build like I had in Inquisition being champion specialization. Should I go with the reaper or the champion for what I want
So ur saying use unique staff that’s necrosis but then also saying use electric staff so which is it? Would also like to see where u put rest of ur skill points
Probably would wanna run ice blast too and get the control time decrease as that’ll make it not cost mana, meaning you can use it solely on corpse ground for better mana usage!
Strongest mage build is blast mage using fireball. I’m getting 3k plus crits and basically endless mana to spam them. Don’t even have the full optimal build yet you can get up o 5-6k damage
@@chrisgallardo6392 properly built blast mage does 7-10k(dmg cap) per spellcast and is 100% invulnerable because you have invulnerability frames 100% of the time. Not sure i would reccomend it though because you just spam your abilities and stand still.
I just hit the 25s and Mage is feeling like a powerhouse even before the level 30 specialization subtrees. Running Evoker and feeling like a classic ME Adept with the signature spell that's basically a biotic singularity. Constantly fills staff energy from all the multihits, drags enemies along, and just shreds everything. Spellblade also looks amazingly fun though. Deathcaller seems to be all about the ranged attack becoming a literal death ray, which is neat.
cordovas toothpick is broken as all heck, you get it super early and there is no point never using it, at level 20 is let me tak out a boss 30 levels higher than me its dumb, its like bleed in elden ring before they nerfed it, I was only able to replace it after getting a off hand unique that gives perma necrotic weapons along side stuff that lets you leach health with necrotic weapons active, and items that buff necrotic damage and increases the stacks you can apply
@@FelisImpurratorI just beat act 2 and I’m currently unlocking all the legendary armors for my companions, I’ve uncovered 133 chests and still haven’t had that happen to me yet..
I haven't gotten far in the game. What happens if you use a staff instead for things like "void blade". Can you even cast the ability holding the staff? I wouldn't mind some of the abilities and ultimates etc, but would avoid arcane bomb related buffs and just go with other buffs. I like playing with the staff.
The problem with that is most of the best abilities near spellblade require mana with some exceptions so youre constantly fight for resources on do you want to use your abilities or channel the range attack. Only deathcaller can use the range attack efficiently
@@paulb4480 You can use all-mothers copse + maw of the black city and then something to heal you (im using garb of kinship) and you will get more mana then you spend when casting abilities. Can just spam 123 over and over and you are immortal due to invul frames and do 8k+ per spellcast.
@@paulb4480 Not true, endgame spellblade blaster does not need to auto attack ever. Just spam spells with 100% invulnerability frames. You get more mana back per spellcast then you spend.
@FelisImpurrator I'm running the signature spell, sunder detonator and the weakness applying ice spell. Only the signature spell is costing mana. I'm just chaining detonations between weakness and sunder, then using the signature spell for CC. I'm just wondering is there's a passive I should be moving towards as I near level 40.
Great video but would have reather had a full break down of the builds in different videos for more detailed information like different armor pieces you companions to take and there gear and skill set up.
Considering how the initial videos they've made for the game had a whole lot of people not only talking trash about the game, but also insulting them for playing it (one video i saw someone calling them sellouts and their review video of the game straight up had comments turned off), they probably don't think it's worth making full individual build guides since not a lot of people would watch them. Heck they already seemed to have moved on from their Pro and Noob series on the game, so the fact they even made more videos on Veilguard is already quite a surprise
Can we get more mage build and also basic general tips that is spoilers free? Having tons of fun, the story is great and the fast pace combat is awesome. Really such a contrast as to watching youtubers review the game VS playing it urself.
I agree with you,@@holgerackermann75 The look and feel is not Dark I understand but I loved it. But the characters, dialogue and wokeness requires a huge amount of tolerance daily
An explanation of the skill tree is nice, but what's even better is actually showing the whole skill tree

Using something in that way too on nightmare difficult. Until i figure how i can build a better 2h slayer.
Playing similar build as well, i don't find "Captain America" build fun, looks boring to me.

Reaver is the best warrior build. The charged shield toss destroys everything.

it would be nice if the game has built in loadout system. it is such a hassle switching builds putting all the nodes 1 by 1
Would be nice to have more then 3 character saves too, a way to actually save custom rooks and builds.

Question. Does a spellblade mage need an electric stave, or could it be any elemental/necrotic stave? Which is the best route?
So ur saying use unique staff that’s necrosis but then also saying use electric staff so which is it? Would also like to see where u put rest of ur skill points
Will the Pro&Noob for Dragon Age continue or is it stopped indefinitely?
Really would like a necro ice build please
I would def combine frost nova and corpse ground, since nova will freeze them in place while they stack up necrosis builds while they can’t move

not that OP. If you want to break the game then look into leech with range attack in death caller tree. 10k per second DPS
Do a ice mage
It'll be nice once they patch the whole inability to open unique chests and interact with statues issue that occurs so much after the patch.
