Took out a flueless gas fire, fitted 15 years. lifted floorboards to cap off below. 15mm copper coupler was green with flux. Never soldered, no drop at meter.

This was even before Corgi came about;... Camera Phone;... Gas Sniffing Probes;...
This offending socket had never seen a blowlamp at all;... just the thick brown flux since the day it was pushed together & forgotten about...

Nice work Derek I would have followed up with a quote to supply a gas interlock c/W proving system coco2 monitoring not that it was needed just as your customer was very irritating lol
