Ep. 77 Treasure hunt part 18 - sentimental item

For this volume of Roxy’s Journal of Stitchery, I am creating a Victorian Sewing Box. I incorporate my baby name brooch into an embroidered flower garden for the latest prompt of something sentimental. Watch as use various threads, yarns, ribbons and beads to slowly stitch the flowers. So relaxing and so much fun to make!

Thank you so much Linda! 😀 I love the delicate colour palette too. When I was putting it together, I was worried that there wasn't much colour there. Going on a mini break, with limited supplies, I was determined to have a palette that would just work, no matter which thread I picked up. So I told myself to shush and just try it and I am so happy I did. I want to try more pieces with limited colour values now. 😊

Hi Leanne, Your little stitchery looks amazing! Plus I love how you put together the little Jennifer Clouston sewing bag I am yet to make mine still deciding on what fabric goes with it. Thanks Tracy Lee! I would never have thought to include something like the name badge if it weren't for this prompt in this wonderful project. I am so grateful to the Roxy sisters for putting together projects and prompts that make us think outside of the box. I love Jennifer's sewing bag so much I am thinking of making another one, but bigger to house projects in here at home. 😊 (Because you can never have too many project bags!😅)
