I want to say that in the first round of my DU allotment, I was allotted the BA Program (Economics + Maths) combination in Janki Devi Memorial College. However, when the time for verification came, I received a call from the college saying that since I didn’t study maths in class 12th, I won’t be eligible for this course. Now, they have rejected my application. But this shouldn’t happen, right? When the course eligibility criteria clearly state that I am eligible for this BA program, how can they cancel my admission?

I want to say that in the first round of my DU allotment, I was allotted the BA Program (Economics + Maths) combination in Janki Devi Memorial College. However, when the time for verification came, I received a call from the college saying that since I didn’t study maths in class 12th, I won’t be eligible for this course. Now, they have rejected my application. But this shouldn’t happen, right? When the course eligibility criteria clearly state that I am eligible for this BA program, how can they cancel my admission?
