Im very happy to have found your channel here on RUclips. The way you talk about the drms and the way they have affected your life, your OCD and knowledge of the instrument is, to say the least, comforting. The same way that Modern Drummer magazine during the Ron Spagnardi days made me feel. You and the old Modern Drummer make me feel that I'm ok and not alone with my own obsession with the drums. Modern Drummer is a far cry from what it used to be, i think you would agree too. It used to be my best friend and the only thing that seemed to understand me when it came to how I felt about the drums and my own OCD with them. I am a 48 year old 4th generation drummer from a rural town in Mississippi. As you can imagine, I'm one of maybe 5 drummers in a 75 mile radius who play and obsess over the drums. I say the number 5 lightly because I only personally know of 2 more worthwhile drummers and figure on at least 2 more that I don't know. Basically I'm alone out here in my thoughts about my instrument. The previous 3 generations have passed on without leaving much to go on. I didn't find out my father was a drummer till a year or so before he passed and was too sick to be much help with the drums, besides, with him being as sick as he was, his health was far more important. I did manage to put together the reason he put his sticks down and it was because he and my mother found out in 1967 that I was on the way. I was born in April of 68. Boy did I feel like shit, but understood. I've been playing since I was 10 years old so that makes 38 year on the drums. I quit playing in dives in the area 2 years ago when I was divorced and given custody of my then 6 year old son. I needed a reason to stop with the dives anyway cause they will drain your will. want spirit for playing any instrument. I now play with a childhood close friend and we write and record our own songs here at my makeshift home studio. It's very fulfilling but only happens once every two weeks. I bought a brand new set of Ludwig Centennials 4 years ago. I'm sure they're not as great as the Super Classics, but they are awesome sounding drums to me and are breaking in nicely. I Too am a huge fan of Zeppelin and Bonham. I extremely love listening to you speak about the subjects. My friends love Zeppelin too, but they don't LOVE Zeppelin. Not to mention my friends play guitar, bass and whatever and don't study Bonham the way do. So, alone I have been for years until discovering the Bonzoleum channel. Thank you so much for you work and your efforts, it means the world to me. I am sorry to have heard you say you were stopping/taking a break for a while. I do hope it won't be for too long and additionally hope it's not for any serious reason. Please take care and come back soon. I'll be looking forward to your next video.. Bob Henry
Lol, I'm a drummer too, and bad co./zep are my go to bands. Queen and heart, Rush, deep purple sabbath etc.. But I used this vid to play my guitar along to your drumming and song. Ironic. Good stuff :)
I'm doing this tune in my band.. honestly at first I wasn't that enthusiastic since it's not my "favorite" bad company song. But I'm starting to dig it!
I'm pretty sure I had that same drum book I see in the background. Reminds of when I took drum lessons back in the mid-late 70's. That cover page looks REAL FAMILIAR. It's the one that says Rythmic Patterns. Nice drum cover btw... :) That's really what brought me hear...Not the book on the stand... I enjoy your videos. They are very entertaining (and informative.) I am very close to picking up some sticks, popping new heads on the old drum kit, and giving them a bash again. I just gotta find some space to set up the kit!!
Hey Terry, what's your opinion on the "standard" bass size of 22x18? They seem to be on most kits nowadays, and I'd like to know what you think about how those deep basses sound compared to more shallow 14" basses like Bonham's or other guys from his time
For a long time out of Bonham Drum Bias, I always wrote them off as a rank fad, and I always hated them and never even wanter to play one, but then I got a great deal on a kit that had one some years ago, and then saw the merits of a deeper bass drum. A 15 depth seems to me because of playing one-a size I would like. So I bought a Stage Custom 25x15 and it's perfect.
Hmmm... I don't really know about this one, "Terry". You are an excellent drummer and you cover songs like nobody else and I truly appreciate all of your work but I think you can do a much better job with this particular song! Sorry buddy, you know I love your cooking but I think you took this one out of the oven before it was done! Looking forward to your next video!
Way too much chatter before you actually started the song, speaking of which. You missed the 4 Count Beginning Click which is the quintessential opening to Can't Get Enough! 😟
dude, your base sounds great, and so does your drum kit, but man your all over the place with the beat! lol. are you fucking around? because you seem like a good drummer.
I can't imagine life without Bonzoleum videos...

Hey bonzoleum could you please do a cover or lesson on traveling riverside blues from the BBC sessions?
hey have you ever tried learning the intro to Crash and Burn by Pat Travers?
what are your cymbals set up? great cover dude!!!
Do Burnin Sky next. My fav Bad Co song.
hi bonzoleum how bout covering
Hammersmith Late night lovin man . of course you have to listen to it but will be amazing if you do
awesome cover man! what mics are you using for your kit these days?
ok man good
Trying to hard, over playing, chill feel the groove.less is more.Especially in this track.
I stared in horror for the opening minutes desperate to confirm that Terry was NOT wearing a Hilter TShirt. 😶
With « Whitey » written on the back ...
I took the place of a guy on a softball team whose last name is White. Often, folks with the last name WHITE are nicknamed WHITEY.
bonzoleum oh THATS funny too. It’s not even your shirt I’m awful, for a moment I had the thought, I’m in love with a monster! 🤣
What do you use exactly to record covers ?
Please do keep it real!
At first, I thought his shirt said "Scared Hitlers".
Which hi hats ??

Way too much chatter before you actually started the song, speaking of which. You missed the 4 Count Beginning Click which is the quintessential opening to Can't Get Enough! 😟
Fuckin awesome
Thanks M!
Exactly like I remember it. Lol.
Don't leave 😥😥
Man, I hate to be a prick but you're leaving out some of the most signature parts of this song and just throwing in whatever you can find.
Fan-fucking-tastic! We are not worthy!
Why so tense. Relax. Have fun.
I think the beat to this song is actually a shuffle
Yeh … brilliant get umm dude …loving it superb playing very musical I shall take a huge amount away from this rock on brother 👌🤣
All gone quiet your end Terry. All ok?
You can't put Zeppelin in everything maybe listen to the original recording. Show it the same attention that you do Bonzo
dude, your base sounds great, and so does your drum kit, but man your all over the place with the beat! lol. are you fucking around? because you seem like a good drummer.
Yes-this is a fun one!
Dreadful interpretation, stick to Bonzo !
No wonder you don't have any comments.
Hihat (y)
Easy on this one dude too much improvisation
Massively overplayed and lost the feel of the original.
Wow, I love your channel that was terrible
Ouch
