When their demand is the return of all the land - not a 2 state solution, but all of it - how are the Jews supposed to do that? Where will they go? Or shall they concede power and trust that the Palestinians will let them live peacefully and unmolested under their rule? The same people who keep making public media speeches ordering their people to kill every Jew on sight.
Their children have Barney the Dinosaur type children's shows telling little kids to kill the "Jewish pigs".

The people matter, children matter, and fascist, right-wing governments really try to make their own narrative of who is the bad guy and who isn't. This was so helpful to see that it is demeaning to Jews go hear "from the land to the sea," it is also demeaning to Palestinians to see themselves as being as the state of Israel puts it as "mowing blades of grass" as their policy. It is much bigger than we see, and the hostage taking wasn't the beginning of this. Let's try not to fall into one narrative for there are many, some are true, and many are false. Sadly the cost is lots of lives. I hope this can open hearts to help others to act to offer relief to the people suffering no matter who they are and not support and fund wars including due to their next votes.

I’ve thought for a long time that Hamas firing rockets or attacking civilians was the wrong strategy, and obviously wrong morally. If they’d focused on armed resistance against the occupying government / armed forces as well as the occasional attempts at diplomacy, I think they’d have been in a much better position now. But having said that, it’s easy to imagine if any other country’s land and population had been colonised, occupied and placed under siege for decades, that they’d also resort to such extreme actions too. So to just blanket condemn Hamas I think is a bit of a ridiculous position.

When Hamas launches rockets, their goal is not necessarily to target or kill Israeli civilians. The rockets often have relatively weak explosive power, and Hamas is aware that the Iron Dome intercepts more than 90% of the launched rockets. Instead, Hamas seems to focus on putting pressure on the Israeli government and disrupting the economy by targeting infrastructure such as docks and airports. And they have prioritized improving the range of the rockets rather than increasing their explosive power.

You're actually wrong about the Palestinian rockets and the Israeli iron dome
It is very impressive and surprising that despite living under a tight blockade in the Gaza Strip and lacking sophisticated military capabilities, Palestinians in the tiny besieged enclave have been able to manufacture their own projectiles. The use of projectiles, mainly rockets and mortars, by Palestinians is part of the reason why the Israeli occupiers left the Gaza Strip in 2005. Over time, Palestinians have developed bigger, faster, longer-range and more effective rockets. They may be somewhat primitive, but they can still inflict damage on the Israeli occupiers and their infrastructure. Rockets fired by Palestinians in the Gaza Strip into the occupied territories are not as ineffective as many believe. For example, on 29 September 2004 Hamas fired two rockets, both which were about 4 feet tall, into the occupied city of Sderot, which resulted in the death of two Israelis and the injury of more than twenty others, according to the Israelis. On 11 September 2007, PIJ and the PRC fired two rockets into the kibbutz of Zikim, killing at least one Israeli soldier and injuring more than seventy others.
The Israeli occupation’s defense systems, like the Iron Dome, which is programmed to prevent projectiles from hitting buildings and populated areas, however, are not as helpful or efficient as they were made to be and are unable to stop all incoming projectiles, which even some Israelis have admitted. If they really were, people in Gaza, Lebanon, Syria and the Sinai Peninsula would stop firing projectiles into the territories under Israeli control.
The number of rockets fired from the Gaza Strip intercepted by the Israeli Iron Dome is far less than 90%, according to experts like Richard Lloyd, Theodore Postol, David Axe, Reuven Pedatzur and Mordechai Shefer. Most of the claimed “interceptions” are the Iron Dome missiles themselves self-destructing after missing the intended incoming Palestinian rockets targeted. In most cases, the warhead of the rocket remains untouched, while structural damage to the body of the rocket simply sets it off course. The rockets are then landing with the warheads still attached - either exploding on impact or becoming an unexploded munition, risking lives.
Postol found evidence that only about 5% of Iron Dome engagements result in the targeted rocket being destroyed or even sufficiently damaged to disable its explosive warhead. In the other 95% of cases, the interceptor either misses entirely or just lightly damages the enemy munition, allowing the rocket’s intact warhead to continue arcing toward the ground.

They've shown that they use freedom for terrorism, so why should Israel give them freedom like that again?

From what I can gather, The UK bombarded Palestine for a while until they and Palestine reached an agreement to split Israel and the West Bank between the two before Jews settled into Israel. But then Palestine rejected the deal even after agreeing to it and went to war with Israel again. The war ended with Palestine being split into the West Bank and Gaza. Gaza elected Hamas and allowed a savage attack near the border.

FYI this video is propaganda. I myself was in the West Bank back in 2005 and happened upon a large Hamas demonstration. Leaders were screaming over bullhorns to “Kill all the J-ws” and a number of other very clearly antisemitic things. It was actually shocking to witness, and I was pulled into a church/monastery as a priest was worried I would be attacked based on my race.
Additionally this video says that Hamas has never targeted/ attacked people outside of historic Palestine. However this is false too. If you google Hamas attacks Berlin / Europe, you will see that just last week multiple EU governments foiled Hamas plans to bomb/attack synagogues in Europe.
Lastly I ask folks to read the 1988 Hamas charter which is filled with violent antisemitism.

True that zi ---- st zealots wouldn't be allowed to live there, other Jews did live and work there until they were forced to evacuate because of the Chosen State's current indiscriminate bo bing.
Well known example is Dr. Barbara Zind, a Grand Junction, U.S.A. pediatrician. Not only is she American but also a Jew.
Zind in one of her last messages before evacuation from the Strip wrote that Pals shared gas and cooking utensils with her group of foreign workers. She wrote “It’s just amazing how they are, hospitable and generous.” Amira Haas, the Jewish journalist working for Ha'aretz also lived in the Strip for a time after the army left. Yes, that is a very important factor in understanding how Hamas grew so much stronger.in decades. Israelis wanted to divide Palestinians ull. Unlike the notiously corrupt PLO, Hamas won democratically won the support of the Palestinian people, which neither the US nor Israel could tolerate. Hence the inhumane blockade. Knowlede of this is breaking through with the New York Times recently publishing an article that shows how the Israeli covertly funded Hamas. The truth is coming out.Netanyahu's days are numbered. He will be sacrificed in an attempt to put the clock back. Pessimists think that a ceasefire may be negotiated without the blockade being lifted as the world's public opinion stops following the situation and moves on to other world events. I want to be an optimist and believe that the break out of the concentration plant was a watershed moment. Whether there can be change however depends on US domestic politics.

Israel needs to relegate itself based on the 1917 Jewish land possession records, which is still extant, from the time the British was just about to enter Palestine. That way, Israel would get 6% of the land. Instead, they now keep occupying and oppressing and expanding even more, and still label every facet of any resistance as terrorism. Ask yourselves this: which side of the conflict has met more of their goals and which side hasn’t? And ask yourselves why they haven’t, and resist the temptation to blame others. Ultimately everyone is responsible for their choices - when will the leaders be blamed for actions that didn’t serve the well being of their people in the long run? Settler Colonialism has always been Reason-Resistant (No brains in there at all), Take Algeria for example, 132 years of Settler Colonialist Torture, Apartheid, Scorched-Land, Genocide and Systemic Humiliation. Not one day did the Colonialist French say we've gone too far, let's give these Muslims their civil rights back. It had to come at the expense of a million+ martyr Armed Revolution. (May God bless all the Martyrs of Algeria)

"The disproportion of power and responsibility and oppression is so markedly on one side, that you take the worst thing you can say about Hamas, multiply it by a thousand times - and it still will not meet the Israeli repression, and killing, and dispossession of Palestinians"
Dr. Gabor Mate, trauma expert and holocaust survivor.
Dr Maté, a Hungarian-Canadian physician, has his own harrowing story. Born in Nazi-occupied Budapest in 1944, when he was five months old his maternal grandparents were among the Jews murdered in Auschwitz. He was taken from his mother and hidden with an aunt until the war ended.

This ring a bell? - British Mandate for Palestine
Under Ottoman rule for around 400 years, the Palestinian territory was organized into three states, Jerusalem, Gaza and Nablus, all linked to the Damascus Province. The Ottoman Empire entered W.W. I on the side of the Central Powers (ultimately defeated). The Treaty of Sèvres (1920 ) signed between the Allies of W.W. I and the Ottoman Empire ceded large parts of Ottoman territory to the U.K. (British Mandate for Palestine) and France (French Mandate for Syria and Lebanon).
