I think the other part we don't think about is that they are still seeing the other trainees who didn't make it to the Babymonster project. They know the other trainees that we don't know about and they know about the other projects planned, so it's probably not quite as devastating as we might think for them not to make this group. Let's go back and count how many blurred out faces we saw in the first few episodes. Ruka was probably the most worried as she is already 20, so for her making this group was imperative or she probably would leave the company after this and either move to another smaller company in hopes of debuting or leave idol life behind and start college.
Really glad that they kept all of the girls. Here's hoping the company will manage them properly so that they can grow and flourish in a spectacular way. From all the videos I've seen, their chemistry, personalities, voices, dancing, reminds me of najeongmosajimidahchaetzu 😊☺️😗😗🤭🤭

I keep coming back to watch this video and I can say YG did a great job of getting the audience (fans) on board with the members. Keep in mind.... survivor shows are alot more harsh than YG. ☠☠☠ The formula for every Idol reality show is have judges criticizing the trainees. Each week is a new challenge and new group. Each week is an elimination. We, grow a fondness for each member, and we see them getting eliminated. Then there are the Evil edits, where they edit a person a certain way to make them look greedy, or the villain. YG didnt do any of that. He presented 7 trainees, and he made us invest in those 7 trainees. He presented challenges to the 7, and he made them work hard to show their talent and skills. By the end, he told us that he would only keep 5, but by then the Magic trick had worked!!!! He made us love 7. And for any good magician, you have to pull of the twist!!! In this case, the Twist was he was going to keep all 7!!! Keep in mind.... this could have been alot worse.... YG could have introduced us to 15 trainees and eliminate them 1 by 1. Crushing dreams, and crushing our hopes with each elimination. But he kept our interests the entire time with these 7 girls. That was a magic trick!!!

The last two minutes, the part of them being so happy to finally be announced, and their reaction is all that I needed. In fact a 10 minute video of just that would have been so much better.
I can't even imagine the mixed feelings of those who know they are making their debut but also know that Asa and Rora will no longer be with them, you would like to celebrate but the sadness ,of having to part with those who have spent this journey of years and years with you, prevails. Their happiness would not have been complete, now they are like sisters and if you separate sisters it is really hard to continue! Complete happiness was when they realized they were debuting all 7 together!
