If you would like to send me the resin I will do the windshield repair strength test on it, which compares the strength of the repair to new windscreen glass.
I got a quote yesterday to replace my vehicles windshield and it exceeds the value of the car, hence the reason myself and others are willing to buy literal snake oil if it will just get us through inspection. People don't care if it's strong, hell I don't even care the crack is there, only the criminals running the DMV care. I can legally ride a motorcycle w/out a helmet or when a helmet is required, you aren't required to have 'eye protection'. But, they'll be damned if you have so much as a tiny crack in your windshield. Not only will they not allow you to renew you registration/drive your car in some states. Worse, in my particular state, they've now mandated if the DMV fails you on something you have to use their 'preferred' service centers which means it's cheaper to buy a new car then fix the most minor issue found.

So he saying if I roll my car with a cracked windshield that has been repaired it is any different then a not cracked one? The instant that new glass hits the the ground it’s cracked. So then as I continue to roll over it would make zero difference. His argument makes no sense.
So in your opinion it is actually possible to repair a crack that is a bit long instead of say a chip that is a small area, have never seen or heard of fixing big cracks in a windshield

Yes you can, just remember about sunlight, UV is necessary for hardening

NO. You can't repair a crack of the inside layer of laminated safety glass. The crack has to be on the outside. Replace your windshield.
