There are so many places I was only able to reach with that high jump and it also just feels really good to use. Kind reminded me of the long jump from 3d Mario games
If you're a completionist and starting a new game, one tip is to get as many graffiti tags as possible BEFORE challenging the gang members in each area. The police don't seem to arrive until after the local gang gets chased away.
4:58 I find that boost-tricking in midair is more useful than just boosting, because it also gives you a bit of extra vertical velocity. It's like an extra jump!
A few more now that I beat the game: Some of the Robo Post terminals (the high-five robots) become teleporters to another terminal. They let you skip traversing parts of the map that are tedious after the first time you do it. There's a shortcut from the Hideout to Mataan, but it only unlocks if you go the reverse way from Mataan to the Hideout. When you enter on the Highway from Millennium Square, just keep taking the highway rather than dropping down to the level. It's easy to miss, because the only way on that highway is entering from Millennium Square, or going around the entire loop of Mataan, which isn't accessible until the very end of the game.
one thing i hope Team Reptile implements is a NG+ option where you can play through the entire story again, but with all the unlockable characters that you already unlocked available so that you can play through the entire story with a character that you love like Coil for example since he is so late game.
Completely agree, I think my biggest wishes for patches or updates would be a Cypher dance pad at the hideout, NG+, a custom graffiti maker, and a custom color select for characters. Like a 5th outfit but it's just a color wheel and you can make your own character color combo
@@Vash With the custom graffiti maker maybe they could make it like a workshop thing where you can share your graffiti in the steam workshop and people could download it and use it in game
@@YiffyShonryu i was having difficulty with that race too, but that was mainly on my part fking up the execution on the wallride climb causing me to lose.
For score attack, you can't boost into the stairs since a raw ground boost will end a combo. Instead, dismount, slide, then do a boost trick. You'll clear the stairs and gain a bit more points that way. Also you can manual downstairs with your gear. Just make sure you don't rotate 90°.
For the boost tip, i would suggest other step that may help even more The first jump will be even longer if you boost before you jump (and even keep it while you are jumping) If you add with the extra boost from the corners, you have: Extra boost from corner, boost, jump with boost, second jump then boost again

Don't boost up stairs if you want to keep your combo instead jump, dismount, slide up the stairs, and if the stairs are too high you might lose some momentum so you do a ground boost trick to propel yourself to the top.
If you spray paint the same design twice, meaning one on top of the other, it will get rid of the graffiti that you are covering up and only keep your design. A tip to keep things neat!
You can actually keep your combo even while you have a giant set of stairs in front of you, if you hop off your gear before them and slide in while doing boost tricks, you won't lose your combo, them just go on your gear again

Is there a way to change characters in the hideout? Am I just too blind or stupid to do it? xD
At the moment not exactly, no Dance pad at the hideout for some reason but you can swap to some of the characters you’ve unlocked dancing there if you talk to them. For some reason the main crew doesn’t swap this way. Hope this answer helps!
genuine question are the chapters for this vid ai generated? made by someone with dyslexia? ( i have it too no disrespect ) or like a non native english speaker?
Someone here knows where is the bike garage in hideout? I want to change my bike style
A bug made it so the bike room didnt open, really hope theres a patch soon
Haha I opened one yesterday and my game didn't freeze but my character did I couldn't move/do anything.
@@GoofyPoptart just a heads up, (If youre playing the switch version which often crashes) if your game decides to crash after the final boss just go straight to your hideout and the end cutscene will play
@@juxtapositionchicken2514 Thank's for the head's up I was still thinking of picking it up on the switch but Im playing on the Steam Deck
Hey can I ask you is there a difference between the playable characters other than animations?
You can set them up with different gear so if you need to get into certian spots you can just switch with them at a dancepad instead of having to go all the way back to the hideout to change your ride
@@brandtrobinson690 that's all ? I mean maybe more in that maybe different stats
@@yahiagg3292 no stats in game, you just pick a character you like.
