I think because people are either jealous or they want to identify/ address “unnatural” bodies. Because sometimes it’s kind of obvious that idols have had work done, and I think people just want to prevent that young people think that their bodies are supposed to look like that and also be insecure about themselves. In that case, confirming that a certain bodyshape is unnatural will only create more reassurance for children/ vulnerable people

and that's what's funny to me, for them to release a badly produced and mixed song in the first place. back in the day it usually took me 3 months to distribute my song so it can be released on a streaming platform, and i assume it would take them longer because they had to make a concept for the video, choreography etc. and in the meantime how did they not realized that the song sounds bad, istg beginner producer or mixing engineer can do better than that 😭, i blame whoever made and compose the song, not the guy who sings, and i also feel bad for him because of the hate comments he definitely didn't deserve.

The UMG thing has loopholes for example JYP groups like Twice, Itzy and SKZ are under Capital Music Group but only their KOREAN language songs are listed under the label. This is going to show my age a bit, but every time body surgery is brought up among idols I think of the RUclipsr who, unfortunately, was used by her mother for years before family channels blew up - Venus Angelic. Venus got an (illegal) surgery in Korea which was essentially a version of a gastric bypass, and a few ribs removed. I wouldn't doubt there would be some unethical companies willing to do something similar with their female idols to create the illusion of an hourglass figure.
Regarding Yuna? I do not think she got any body surgery done, and the hyperfixation on her figure is weird. Pads or not, she looks great! I hope she doesn't fall into the trap of constantly trying to justify herself to these haters.

    • @erickacornu774

I have the impression that as soon as someone fits too closely to the model's standards, people on the internet tend to say that idols have had plastic surgery, when in fact they haven't! I'm thinking of Karina, Danielle, Sullyoon and Yuna, who get criticised all the time for having plastic surgery. It would be good to stop comparing ourselves because you don't fit these images, it doesn't mean that these artists have practised but rather that they have worked hard to have this body.

There's some celebrities that just look like entirely different people in pictures taken a few years ago and or have completely different facial features and they say something like "oh i just lost fat around my eyes."
I notice that idols that obviously had some sort of cosmetic procedure done (whether it's something as small as lip fillers or drastic as chin/jaw shaving) tend to not talk about it, but they also don't say "i was just born this way/i'm all natural" or "it's just my skincare routine/diet~". The entire UMG thing is only going to hurt UMG & the artists, especially the snaller ones. When you sign to a label you're basically taking a loan that you need to pay off through your music, if TikTok, the biggest internet platform is banned, the most probable way for those artists to make ANY money at all is gone, then it's a huge problem.
Universal supposedly cares about artists and yet it's screwing them over. And the funniest thing? TikTok doesn't even have to care about this. People don't go on TT to listen to music, they're there to watch content & a lot of said content doesn't use said music to begin with. Sure, it might hurt a bit but ultimately there's still a lot to watch on TT regardless of the music in the background as opposed to the limited options for music promotion without TT for those small artists. They're trying to make themselves more important than they actually are to TikTok and they'll just look stupid & hinder their reputation after this stunt.

If a person's body is a "bad influence" then the best person to have control over that is their guardian. If anything, teach people to assume it's altered or unreal be it medically hanged, padding changed, or even photo edited. But idols not celebrities deserved to be dragged. They deserve privacy. y'all i love itzy and yuna so don't bash me plz omg,,, but yuna very likely got work done imo. she probably just wanted to have a figure that suited the beauty standards more and hip pads were getting her so much hate because let's be real, they were super obvious and not well fitted, it's not shocking she'd go for what i assume is either sculptra/coolsculpting or a minor bbl. she's always been gorgeous, but even gorgeous people can be insecure y'all need to understand that. it's especially sad to me how big talks of her body have spread because there's so much shame with getting work done despite almost every idol having it, i can't imagine the pressure she feels about it. like i don't think most kpop fans understand how common plastic surgery is in kpop, i'd even go as far as saying almost no idol has never had work done on their face or body at all, yes this counts botox and fillers. btw not all bbl's are drastic like nicki oop-

yeah, most idols have likely gotten at least some very minor plastic surgery, have you seen the kpop industry? the beauty standards they hold people to are basically unattainable and a lot of people would probably get some kind of cosmetic surgery under that pressure, even if they naturally fit the beauty standards.

No member of Itzy has undergone cosmetic surgery. Besides, why be obsessed by his body I understand instead of talking about his morphology it would be more interesting to talk about his music. Let's be honest, how many internet users behind their screens have already had plastic surgery and it's the same people who criticise artists. I don't think you understand that your words can hurt an artist and even if he doesn't change his body can force him to do so. So it would be really good if you thought twice before speaking.

Your body shape doesn't just completely change shapes like that. her hips literally defy basic pelvic anatomy. it is physically impossible for her to have lost her hip dips and gain round hips without gaining weight (and she hasn’t gained weight in her butt or thigh area either). this is the definition of unrealistic and not a natural hourglass figure. ryujin’s figure is a better depiction, and she has smaller hips than yuna at a similar weight too.

    • @icebreaker5303
      @icebreaker5303 Месяц назад +1

@@katr_i_na they don’t lol, just look at her u go girl fancam, you can tell that her hips are round naturally without any fat on top of it, so it’s just literally her bone structure but since she’s very skinny ig certain fabrics and wrong pants can make her hips look flatter from the sides since there doesn’t seems to be a lot of fat (like nothing actually) giving her any type of padding on that area, that’s why her figure only really seems to be noticed when she wears tight clothing that accentuate her hips or ofc really broad pants that can make the hips look even bigger.
I mean I’m pretty sure she has worn hip pads before and she’s not even denying that here but as seen in the fancam, she also just does have that hourglass figure naturally.

The whole UMG thing is so insane to me, the fact that Universal has the audacity to claim the decision was made to protect their artists while literally pulling the plug and possibly ending hundreds of small artists entire careers is heartbreaking. And while yeah bigger artists will probably be fine they still get most of their promotion off of tiktok, for example this is all happening with Ariana’s new album around the corner- if i were her i’d be pissed man.
As for kpop i’ve noticed mnet hasn’t lost the rights to any music so maybe we’ll end up seeing a bigger dependence on Mnet for dance challenges and such (unfortunately). At the same time, i feel like this will also lead to the rise of independent artist, cs i’ve already seen ppl hyping up independent artists music to replace old sounds on tt
idk this whole thing is unreal to me but what can i say im not surprise this is coming from universal 🤷‍♀️

I mentioned this in my own comment, but while I agree UMG is doing this for themself, TikTok is as well. They are just as at fault as UMG because they have the capacity to EASILY meet UMG requirement which RUclips and Insta have done, but TikTok is just as greedy, they just are trusting their audience (most people) to side with them naturally and for their advertising to be the big stick that makes the other company give in, and for UMG they want to make an example that their artist power means brands need a more even split.
That was a lot of writing, but yeah anyway Ariana Grande doesn't care rn, she'll be rolling in dough without TikTok anyway. Only artists that could suffer here are the smaller ones who could blow up on TikTok which leads to people discovering them, any artist who's name you know is not making their main income from TikTok (and even the ones you don't know probably aren't, it's just used to drive people to support you in other ways than using your music in a clip)

Both are basically playing a game of chicken for money, it would be easy for TikTok to pay more for the music which Instagram and RUclips do, but they feel they have leverage given the idea of 'free' promotion, and UMG wants better control of their music and also wants more money.
Both are equally at fault so it's just funny to me when KPOP stans (who don't listen to smaller artists under the UMG label) take sides with either company
Also that Sullyoon video is funny to me both because I don't understand why it happened like you were explaining and also Sullyoon's reaction XD (obviously it's only funny because clearly she wasn't hurt)

As a Beomhan fan for more than a year, he has worked so hard for his independent debut short after he parted ways with his former company.
He saved the money he earned from Twitch to pay for vocal and dance classes, a choreographer, backup dancers, cameraperson, editor, composer and producer.
He's also been hyping up his debut from months ago and he looked genuinely so excited. So to think the spent so much energy, money and effort just for a joke it's hard for me to believe it.
But Beomhan is the type of person to "laugh at his tragedies" and taking bad things with humor as a defense mechanish, that honestly that's way better than show that the bad critizism and hate hurt you, but I feel so so bad for him anyway.
Yes, the debut might not be that well produced or not everyones cup of milk, but people are being so unfair to an independent artist without a not even a small company behind him and with not a big budget. I saw so many nasty opinions on all social media, messing even with his personality and want it or not, it's so harmful to someone's mental health.
Anyway, if somebody read my whole bible please be respectful with not only Beomhan, but any artist. You don't know the effort that was behind the "cr4p" you listened, and words hurt more than you think. You don't have to forcefully like it, but at least be a decent human being and don't make unnecesary harm.

Honestly speaking, the conversation about yuna is so meaningless and pointless. First of all, Yunas body is a realistic body… so many people in the world naturally have narrow waist and wide hips and it isn’t uncommon. In Yuna’s case, it is just accentuated as south East Asians seem to have smaller body structure and also Yuna is super skinny which may make her hips look very pronounced in contrast to her waist. Now since she didnt say she had anything, we can just assume nothing since we dont know anything. So people should just stop and move on.

i find it funny, but i also feel rly bad for Beomhan cuz he was prob rly proud on his song and worked rly hard on it but so many people didnt like it that he prob felt like a joke and was embarrassed. so idk if i find it funny or sad. but on the bright side, this situation might help Beomhan figure out his music style and what suites him.

I am so mad at people talking about her hips like okay girl want hips even tho her hips are amazing and? What’s new you telling me that what got you worked up?
And she doesn’t need to tell anyone this is not my eye color, this is hair extension , this is make up so why would she need to say this is hip pads?

ugh as a MIDZY, this hip pad conversation is so aggy because hello - its so obvious when she wears hip pads and doesnt, yuna literally has a great figure but when shes not wearing low rise they put her in hip pads and again its so obvious. her answer " go watch u go girl" was probably the best way she could respond honestly. i dont see anyone from a big 3/4 company outright admitting the surgery and other stuff theyve had done / wear even tho again its obvious lol. anyway i just hope my bby yuna loves her actual body and doesnt feel bad when they force her in those goofy hip pads cuz i ver much doubt she is constantly like yess give me hip pads. her hips are already wide. shit is crazy

it’s not obvious when she does and doesn’t wear hip pads because she literally has not been without hip pads in performances in years now. not once - including her u go girl performance (obviously low rise hip pads, you can tell by the roundness and the disconnect from the bottom of her hips to the top of the jeans). the only time i’ve seen her actually without it hip pads is a fan filmed video of her in china last year where her hips look the same as her debut hips. her hips are not already wide, and that’s ok, but her denying it does more harm than good and is simply deception.

yuna is obviously using/doing something i wish idols would just be real or just completely disregard the questions like jesus

But if she disregarded the question, people are just to make assumptions anyway. I don't see how Yuna or any other idol can win.
