@Alex.Walker Fact is since Justin Fields first full season as Bears starting QB, he's been the better overall QB & passer than Russell Wilson.

@@tiyalewhitehurst338 we are both drawing from history to make our points. You can’t dismiss my argument about the Steelers going 11-0 because it’s not completely the same team. The precedent is still the same. The point is that the offense is stale and lacking significant big play needed to win games in the NFL long-term. It might win you a few games to start, but it’s not a winning formula long-term. Part of that winning formula HAS TO be getting your WRs more involved and allowing them opportunities to score. Russ is inherently a better passer than Justin. Although Justin can grow into being a better passer, we are talking about winning now. We don’t need Russ to be all he was in Seattle. Your point about his sideline argument with Sean is mute. Russ was on pace to throw 30 TDs last year in Denver which frankly is double what the Steelers have had since Ben left, so I wouldn’t be so quick to say he can’t help open the offense up more.

@dylanrucker6104 got a few things to say Russell is 36 and Fields is 25 and Russ good days are behind him Justin is the future and he was thrown in because of injury and won 4 out of 6 games, was it pretty absolutely not but wins are hard to come by in the NFL they are both the 2 most sacked QBs in the last 3 years I think but young legs are better then old legs and just can Run the have the worst WR core in the league and I've ever seen as a fan a borderline number 1 and a bunch of number 3s Roman Wilson was probably counted on but injury destroyed that option and there been needed to make a move for better production, at the one somebody gets injured every week and they are a work in progress, which is hindering the running game, bottomi line is this is a rebuilding offense who isn't ready to compete with KC yet why not let Justin play and live with all the growing pains

“No going back” RC…why? What NFL rule says you can’t go back? If you never see Russ in game situations “IN PITTSBURGH”, how do you know what you have? These are the perfect two games to see whether you keep Russ or trade him to Miami (for instance). Don’t be so complacent. Let’s explore what we have and make a final decision when we “KNOW” who can do what in Game situations. The only mistake is that the NFL allows all of this drama to be voiced. Anthony Richardson was supposed to be the man, Flacco is older, more experienced and a better QB. Sam Darnold wasn’t even the original starter in Minnesota. This isn’t some ground breaking thing. Let’s see before we throw Russ away. Damn. These talking heads will say anything for a check to push the narrative. It’s sad. FYI, Chuck Knoll did the same thing with Bradshaw in ‘74 and they won the Super Bowl! IJS

I just don't understand what old man, can't scramble anymore, holds on to the ball too long, dink and dunk Russ is supposed to do with a beat to hell o-line, a WR room that can't get open consistently, and their 1st round RB not running well. How is he supposed to be a better option than the guy that's 10yrs younger, way more athletic, and already playing pretty well given the circumstances? To me Fields gives them the best chance to win. The timing is also weird. The Steelers are two weeks away from their bye week. Why not let Fields finish this out before the bye and then make the change with the bye if you REALLY want to make that silly change?
I think this is going to be just another example of Tomlin's famous loyalty getting them in trouble again.
