This is BY FAR the most underrated video I've ever seen on RUclips. The first time I watched this, I had to pause multiple times to let the pain from the excessive laughter subside. I'm honestly surprised it doesn't have millions of views.
Unbelievable!! I cannot believe how determined he was to hang on like that for that long!! Maybe he is enjoying it? Wow!!! What a nuisance!! Thanks for the giggle, though. :)
I love it! Thanks for sharing it. When I lived in Texas, I loved to sit by a window with a cup of coffee to watch the persistent and ingenious squirrels defeat, time and time again, my neighbors bird-feeders. I always rooted for them, and they never disappointed me!!! lol
How does this squirrel ever walk straight after these little rides ? I love how his mate sits underneath and gets all the food the acrobat scrabbles out of the feeder.
Didja notice? The squirrel figures out how to stop the spin at about 4:15, but only for as long as he can hold on. He lasts about a minute and a half, but right as the TV commercial says "Perseverance, never give up . . ." -- he loses it and starts spinning again.
While he was up there spinning, his buddy was on the ground freely enjoying the spilled seeds. That squirrel completely knows how to get arround the yankee. Lol 😆 🤣
So much for a "Squirrel Proof Feeder". First pest takes a ride on the carnival ride, offsetting the center of gravity so bad it slings food all over the ground for pest #2 to have a feast.Pest #1 then jams a foot into a feed hole, jamming the motor and stuffs himself with seed. Thanks for posting this video to help me make up my mind to wave off this feeder.
I think the squirrel's gettin' off on it ! Must be one hell-of-an endorphin rush. Does anyone remember as a kid, just spinning around until you got so dizzy you couldn't standup? That is a great feeder and an even more incredible squirrel !
Wow, I was set to go buy one for my dad for Christmas until I saw this, his squirrels are smart. The video the company who sells them shows sure doesn't demonstrate them holding on like that! The only way I'd buy it is if I believed that it would pay for itself in the long run by saving me money in seed, doesn't look like that's going to happen, at least not with the smart squirrels.
I can imagine the little bastard finally getting thrown off & then telling his buddy "Squeeeek, squeeker, squeeek, squeek, squeekin" which, roughly translated, is "I think I'm BLIND."
@@TimeTravelinc you do want the birds to be able to perch comfortably. Some birds will perch and break open the seeds right there on the perch. You don't want them eating wd40
This is HILARIOUS !!! 🤣🤣😂🤣🤣 I'm thinking, "Did they super glue his feet??" And then when you said "No wonder the battery is running out"...😂 Ah, the will of a squirrel ...no man can defeat !!!
I always LOL watching squirrels on these feeders. Never had a feeder like this, but I heard the squirrel will spin forever until the batteries run out on feeder? Then squirrel gets easy meal. Lots of bite marks on feeder when that happens! A lot of seeds spill out. It's mostly fun to watch the squirrel spinning around. Great for laughs, so long as the battery stays alive. I wonder what's the record for "squirrel spinning" until the battery dies?
It's a shame droll yankee never made this feeder also close it's feeding ports with the weight of the squirrel that way the seed would not fall out or squirrel would not just wear out the battery to get a reward.
Mighty kind to provide an E-ticket amusement ride for a squirrel, and an occasional snack shack for when the ride was finished, only to start out anew. Was impressed the squirrel didn't stagger on the ground.
Love your video. We have one of these feeders and can never catch a squirrel on it.... Guess it's doing the job ... Or our squirrels didn't graduate from " Spin College " Where Seeds Rule!!!
This could be a good place for a Squirrel Zapper. Some folks have built them. Or even a Squirrel Zipper. It would simply drop the plucky squirrel into a handy pouch and zip him inside. He could then be safely and sanitarily relocated to someones else's neighborhood. Like 50 or 60 miles away.
Remove the extension from the hanger, that causes the spinner to loose most of its energy. Notice the top of the feeder is spinning as much as the bottom. That will get-er done.
Didn't take long for the squirrel to learn that it could shake the food out of the feeder huh? Note it's buddy on the ground collecting the seeds. I think the jar lid video is my favorite squirrel test.
Oh, no, he has a friend that's eating what he's spinning out. But he himself actually manages to stop the spinner a couple of times to eat the seed from the tap!
Sacrificing himself to shake out a few nuggets of feed. Smart bugger, the sooner the battery's wound down, the sooner he can get some feed. The motor needs to be a bit slower. The goal is to prevent the squirrel from grabbing any seed. Set it slow enough not to run down the battery quickly, and fast enough to keep the seed out of reach.
What is more ridiculous than a squirrel spinning on a bird feeder? Humans watching a video of it, hoping to see the squirrel get flipped off! That is one badass strong squirrel!
For a while I figured his body left this world and was just spinning from the centrifugal force. I have the same feeder and my squirrels jump off immediately. I think they hate the motion and the noise. Same happens if a blue jays or other big bird triggers it. You got the LeBron James of squirrels. I also have the “flipper” model by the same company and the squirrels just drop right off it like the floor falling out. Works great
I thought the whole point was to keep the squirrels from eating the bird seed, not letting a teammate squirrel sling it all over the ground for the other squirrels to eat.
That was beautiful. Few things have made me laugh so much, followed by an incredible respect for that squirrel. "Never give up! Never surrender!"
By Grabthar's Hammer, by the Sons of Warvan, you shall be avenged!
This had got to be the funniest thing in RUclips & that squirrel 🐿️ is a Olympic Champion

Hope it has a soft landing place!!
LOL. We sell these at my work, and that's by far the longest I've ever seen a squirrel hang on.

If anything, he's shaking all the seed out of it, and the one on the ground is just loving it, lol
I love how the squirrel on the ground watches for awhile then goes back to eating
This squirrel is a metaphor for life. You go squirrel. You go
That's one of them thrill seeking squirrels LOL!!
The golf commentary synchs perfectly with this. Gold.
On time 😁

This video should be sent to Yankee Flipper manufacturing. They need to resolve this.
Absolutely. It's a simple fix, just use a material that they cant grip.

Lovely video!
Thank you for sharing.
Gotta give him credit...
he really earned his meal that day
Well, I'm thinking he's passed the centrifuge test to be the first squirrel in the NASA astronaut corp...
FINALLY, a squirrel proof bird feeder. I LOVE it. Now we can irritate the squirrels instead of them irritating us LOL

Guinness squirrel ! When the spinning stopped, I expected to see the squirrel's head flip back and forth. Wish we could have seen its eyes!
That's it. I'm getting the extended- length charge, high-speed flipper feeder when it comes out.
I was considering buying one but changed my mind after watching this
Okay , it seems he's spinning some of the seeds out so that it can eat from off the ground........it's really spinning though ❗😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Oh, no, he has a friend that's eating what he's spinning out. But he himself actually manages to stop the spinner a couple of times to eat the seed from the tap!
Smart squirrel. If the feeding port was an inch higher, it might make a difference.......
Time to upgrade the motor on that thing.
Thats a looooooooooooooong ride on a merrygoround!!!!!😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
If a squirrel flipper won't stop those pesky squirrels, it's time to invest in an air rifle.
I use a super soaker, the run as soon as they spot it in my hands 😂
That looks like the NASA centrifuge used to train Astronauts. That roof rat has to be pulling 3-5 g's. His eyeballs are staring out the back door.🤣
That is too funny that's what he gets lol...🤣
Maybe after 1 minute, the thing could change gears to high speed? That squirrel was part Marine or Special Forces.
You would’ve thought his equilibrium would’ve given out??? Wow!!! That’s muscle endurance!
Do they have a FLIPPER for raccoons too??? I need one desperately!
What is everyone’s feedback on putting Habanero in bird seed to deter the squirrels? This one persistent and determined squirrel!
Funny. I laughed till I cried. Thanx for sharing.
That has to be a world record LOL!!!!
I think the squirrel likes it it's like a kid on a Merry-Go-Round let's go again let's go again
If humans had that much determination can you only imagine ? That's when reality hits and no not in this day and age.
This device should be designed to rotate faster and be mains powered. A 110/220V 100W 3500rpm motor would do the job :-)

I think that squirrel had some NASA training. Never saw a squirrel able to hold on so long. I was almost going to throw up just watching him/her.
The embodiment of tenacious.....
This is not the best proof feeder, the one which using squirrel's weight make the feeder down and covers the feeder holes that is the best feeder.
That squirrel totally deserved the food it got.
B.B. Gun, the only real answer. They are wearing the batteries down.
How often do yu change batteries, about every 25 minutes?
Вечно можно смотреть как льется вода,горит огонь и КРУТИТЬСЯ БЕЛКА НА КОРМАКЕ))))
How can he eat and spin like that?? 😗
Never has a squirrel worked harder for seed...
Nor had more fun...
WOW
If it failed to get the squirl off and he still gets to the seed the product has failed. The company should be made aware of this.
they need to grease the handles where he hangs on to , I bet he flys off of it then
Must be some dam good seed!
I lost my appetite just watching him!
Yes ladies and gentlemen , this is one badass squirrel ! But I'm sure he'll need a heavy dose of Dramamine when he's done ! 🤪
