@@raadnyk3692 I use a paintbrush. I've sprayed it in the past but it's easier to me to use a brush and works just as well as long as you put a couple coats
You should back the whole body with white, it will make the purple and the rest of the colors pop and stand out more, it will also make it not see through looking
U did a great job on it even though it didn't come out exactly like u envisioned but that's every time with me lol ..I got the same body and wing I've seen so many cool paint jobs on these bodies I haven't touched it but I may do something with it this weekend..great videos as usual man great seeing your paint skillz
Awesome work. I watch all your vids. I’ve been building a drag slash for a few months now for my son and I. I was wondering if you could direct me to a useful liquid mask to use without a airbrush? I have rattle can paints for the 1st gen Camaro body. Was wondering if you’ve got any tips for multi color rattle canning. I use spray paint for other things so I can use it well, just not on lexan. Keep up the good work.
Thanks! I use BiddyDesigns liquid mask and apply it with a brush. You can easily use spray cans with the liquid mask. Just cut your design out and peel the masking one color at a time.
Look dope great job! I got my slash runninguch better but now when I hit the throttle she just wheelies down the street. Any suggestions to stop that? Was thinking lead weights in the front? 👊🏻✌🏻
@@FullThrottleRC how would you tune the slipper? Right now I have the nut tightened all the way, would I loosen it a little until I get the sweet spot? Appreciate your help bro! 💯👊🏻✌🏻
@@kingstoeck Yep. Tightening it all the way prevents it from slipping but it causes those wild launches and uncontrollable wheelies. You can back of a quarter turn at a time until you get it to tame down a little.
I really like the colour scheme. Im guessing there may have been moisture in the airline causing the blotches in the grey paint. I hate cutting out graphics on the body, i always seem to get too heavy with the knife so when i crash etc the bodies tend to crack along the cut lines
Thank you! The only other thing I could guess with the spots was maybe I thinned out the paint too much. I use liquid mask, normally about 3 coats. One really light pass with the blade is more than enough to cut through the masking so I normally don't have issues with the bodies cracking.
Beautiful paint job!
Thank You!!
Nice job! I enjoyed this video. Keep up the good work.
Thank You!!
Great job
Thank you!

@@bulldogbradford8081 thank you!
Good job FTRC! I'm like watching and learning the liquid mask process... 💪🏾💯
Thank You! I didn't cover the application of the liquid mask in this video but hopefully you get the idea of how it works
@@FullThrottleRC definitely get the idea, how much do you apply?
@@CoachD386 Normally about 3 coats.
@@FullThrottleRC how do you put your liquid mask on? Paint or spray? Another great video btw 👍

Looks awesome!
Thank you!!
That is bad ass brother keep up the awesome work 💪
Appreciate it!! Hoping to keep it looking nice hahaha
@@FullThrottleRC that's allways nice but sometimes impossible with the times and seed we are all reaching these days

I actually backed it all with a very light layer of black, helps darken that purple and I love the way it came out. Thanks!!
@@FullThrottleRC No problem, always glad to help a fellow drag racer! Keep up the great content👍
I like the proline iroc camaro body. But I wish it had the flat hood. So you had more freedom for scale looks.
I agree. Wish the hood was flat but I understand why they did it the way they did
You should do a custom S14 drag body
I think that would look way better as a drift car than a drag car
That thing looks sick! Good body Chioce
Thank you!!
That paint job looks awesome bro... pat yourself on the back 👍🏾
Appreciate it man! 👍

Thanks! Could try adding weights, you could also tune the slipper to keep the front end down a little.

How you make the Wing
The wing is from Undercover RC Drag wings
Awesome paint job
Thank You!!
Would this fit on a traxxas 4tec?
No these bodies are made for drag cars based on short course length chassis.
Which car is that the Losi 22s
In this video I was still running a custom car I built based off of an associated b5m. I'm now running the DR10M
Wht wing is that
Undercover rc drag wings
@@FullThrottleRC is it for the iroc body or another cant find it
@@ThatTattedFilmGuy It is for the IROC body. It was a while back so I'm not sure if he makes a different version now or anything
