Holy flashback man! I got my start in the HTM world doing the A+ piezo buzzer remediation back in the late 2000’s. I used to take those bad boys apart with my eyes closed. I used to take the entire pump apart with a small 8” long flat blade screwdriver. Those were good times!
I really don't want to see another Plum 360 for a while. This month is the month where I PM every pump in the hospital and let me tell you, the amount of abuse on these pumps is insane. I'm continually having to clean them, replace rubber boots, replace fluid shields, replace the door lever cover, and swap out power cables. It's truly a nightmare. Edit: Oh and let's not forget how annoying it is to replace the battery lol
Beautiful teardown process with adorable explanation
I am enjoying the process
Its disassembly is really fantastic
Biomedical equipment is very different feom my avionics engineering filed
