Great videos! Just found your channel and subscribed. I have basically the same rotary and when using it with lightburn in inches the rotary doesn't spin the proper amount. The linear move will move the correct distance however. A fellow on the forum suggested that I change it to mm so I did and that fixed it. Strange behavior though. Have you seen this issue and have any work arounds or ideas on it. Thanks!

I don't recall running into that, however I work almost exclusively in metric in the shop and have since switched to the little comgrow roller rotary as it works better for my needs than the chuck style did. It may be that I just never tried it in inches.

NIce setup. Got a detail of how you wired the second PSU in and the other add ons. Still working mine out. THanks.

Each one has it's own little variances depending on the stock power supply you're dealing with. You may get a better answer over on one of the C3D groups either on G+ or Facebook. Let me know if you need any links. But the short answer is that the 24v supply powers the C3D board and both external steppers. The lead from the original PSU is just disconnected and taped off.

What A axis did you go with? planning to add one to my K40. (already running Cohesion3d board in it)

Hey man, I have your exact setup, but I can't for the life of me get lightburn to do ANYTHING with my A axis. Can you give me some guidance? I don't see anything in the GUI that shows any sort of control for it.

nice update Carl. My k40 and cohesion 3d upgrade kit is on its way as I type this. Might I ask for a link to the power supply you are using? I will eventually have all 4 stepper motors wired up as well. Thanks.

I'm not sure honestly. It was a 24v 8A power supply that I'd had lying around for some time. You can usually pick them up on Amazon, Ebay, Banggood, etc.. for pretty cheap.
