    Years ago I remember a dermatologist in Manhattan using nitric oxide on my skin as an acne riddled skin and I have never forgotten its powerful positive impact on my skin - he would use a wand to release the NO onto my skin - sort of like a blower - he would hold the wand and "blow" the NO all over my face and neck. I've wished for years that I could have that treatment again and came to RUclips to research the possibly and here you are.

    Since NO is not stable, it is obviously not NO in the products but a precursor or an arginase inhibitor.
    Beets don't contain nitric oxide, they contain nitrates which convert to NO.
    It would helpful to provide links to references.

    Cook your own beets. Slice and put only balsamic vinegar. Or a vinegar of your choice. N.O. will be there!!

    Instead of only listing your media links you should also include product names and research links, thanks.

    Unfortunately, it costs $234 per ounce, so for serious medical issues or wealthy folk only. What would happen if you blended your own out of beets and kale? Would your face have the coloration of a Christmas tree? A healthy Christmas tree?

    Isnt nitric oxide produced when you breath through your nose and from sun exposure?

    • @hans-christianholdt778
      @hans-christianholdt778 3 года назад +1

      Your'e absolutely right. As the NO receptors are found only in your nose, mouthbreathing won't let you take up this important air component. Depression or mood disorder is a likely consequence.

    Fascinating video Doctor. Is there a topical N.O. product on the market ? I’m taking a supplement for my BP and it is working. If there is no product on the market is there a diy formula? Thank You so much. BTW I’m 70 yo.

      I’m trying to find a diy formula for a topical serum. It’s available online but very expensive; ($180/1oz.). There are many companies that sell very effective formulas you drink. The one I’m using is by BSN NO Xplode. It’s reasonable but I’m looking for an affordable topical serum.

      Some Eucerin products contain arginine; some also contain urea and ornithine, which inhibit arginase. All will increase NO.
      int.eucerin.com/our-research/ingredients/arginine-hcl
      Green tea catechin is also an arginase inhibitor.
      Red light therapy (aka LED therapy, photobiomodulation, LLLT) increases NO production.

      Pure Encapsulations has an interesting video on its oral supplements for NO production - but note that what the presenter says about ornithine is not correct. Ornithine is an arginase inhibitor and will increase arinine levels. I tried ornithine and got a cold sore - presumably because my arginine/lysine ratio got too high. I took some lysine and pretty much overnight it cleared up. ruclips.net/video/m2G0jrI7BGw/видео.html
