So much to relate to here. I dealt with my son's passing (in Oct. 2022 from fentanyl poisoning) through group therapy and the twelve steps of A.A. (I'm a 34 year recovering alcoholic). I started Kriya Yoga several weeks ago...I actually started meditating again around the first of the year but I couldn't have started what I'm doing now had I not worked through my grief first....the profound part of it. I understand a resonate…I’m struggling and partner passes 7 years ago…this year is coming up on 8. I’m still numb and personally found grief counseling useless. I feel there’s nothing out there for people in the middle of their life…last decade was one loss after another.
Don't give up on counseling. I felt it was useless too until I found a skilled practitioner in EMDR and Somatic Psychology. I'm sorry for your loss. The change is often unbearable.

I callem my emotional sheaths holes..hurts that stick due to ego identifying vrittis ..our emotions are fragile..i struggle so often,i look at my emotions,i sometimes fail .Yogis in thr Himalayas in snow, without coats without snow shoes .. somehow overcome..mh respect to all who are on the path .❤
I was wondering if you have any videos on spirituality and arrogance? Like how not to get hubris characteristics, or if one already is "arrogant" will becoming more spiritual magnify this trait?
My life is completely different after Debbie passed. (4 yrs July 19). I feel like my life is just blaaaa. We did everything together. Now I'm alone. I know it's natural and normal to return to the Source, but for those of us still in the cosmic drama, it's pretty lonely.
Fix blockages in your heart chakra by visiting your mother who has a problem...then by listening attentively and giving her your full support. NOT by telling her it's not your job. I'll never forget that you said that to your own MOTHER!

We survived both earthquakes in Hatay, Turkey because of my husband's gut instinct. I'll read the book you mentioned so that I can have my own.

How often does it work that a child can serve as a psychotherapist or minister for a parent realistically? 😅
