    Better to wet the stovetop to use a blade than dry scratch it.

      Hello, thank you for your comment. This kit is only for polishing the top surface of the hob, we do sell a separate kit which helps remove scratches from the hob. Please see the link below.

      @@MrJML75 During the polishing process, only a small amount of water is required. Too much water will dissolve the polishing compound and as result, it will lose its grit and polishing performance.

    I have used this product and created alot of swirl marks that are more visible now

    THat cooktop is not cloudy or scratched ! do it with one that is heavily damaged
