Good Job, I have to do same thing for my Lincoln Mark V, 1979, and also tighten that U-joint nut, have some looseness in steering ! Question for you: What size screws go into those 2 pins? Fine or course thread?? Thank you, Greetings from hot South Florida =0)
0:45 y 6:30 podría decirme dónde conseguir esos baleros! O rodamientos por favor........ 0:45 and 6:30 could you tell me where to get those bearings! Or bearings please.....
How did you get that tilt assembly off that you put on in the beginning of the video? Mine somehow broke and I can't seem to figure out how to get it seperated from the steering column.
You might be able to get a pick, or some kind of pointed object to dig it out. A magnet might, but I don't know. I had to rebuild another one last week for someone and I made a video and I showed how to get that out. Unfortunately I got memory cards all mixed up and accidentally deleted all the footage.
I got a 82 f1504x4 manual transmission and the dude lost the ignition key and I am gonna pull the steering wheel off n try to replace it. What's your thoughts Ferdinand?
Hello, I just purchased a 1989 Ford Ranger, the steering wheel is very loose, I know we won't know for certain what's wrong until we disassemble, however do you think the actuator is broke with loose steering? Curious becasue you mentioned that they break a lot.
Hey Ferdinand, I'm working on my steering column in my 78 Ranchero, The shift collar broke. I'm unable to get the piece off that you started off the video with. It seems the shaft is too big to go through the hole of that part. Any tips?
Awesome video. Thank you soooo very much. showed me exactly what I needed to know to remove the steering column tilt component.
Good video. I have start the getting apart but didn't finished it. Thanks for the explanation.

That's basically it. Finally got my collar replaced, and I did need to remove the entire column.
