A SAFE and CLEAN Way to TRAVEL with A Dog -- Review of OKMEE Car Seat Cover

- My dog Orion loves to get in the way while I drive, not to mention his shedding and the dirt that comes along with him after trips to the park. I show how I was able to solve those issues with the addition of a car seat cover for the back of my car and a dog seatbelt tether. This cover acts as a hammock and cradles Orion in the back of my car.

No other way to do it! Can't choke the dog on accident if I come to a hard stop. The Harness is the way to go!

Thanks for showing this. I've been living with a strike plate for the door handle that does not align with the strike plate for the deadbolt for way too long. I'm off to try your solution today!

OK sonarw those sileatbelts adjustable? My dog likes to stick his nose out of the window and it looks like he won't be able to do that with that seat belt on:(
As my large dog got older he became unable to make that big jump from the ground up onto the top of the seat. So he enters the rear seat area as did the Beagle in the video onto the floor, then on to the seat. Unfortunately this setup prohibits that entry. And unlike a dog the size of the beagle, it's too difficult to pick up my large dog every time to place him on the seat.
Luckily, there is a zipper that will separate the half that sits on the rear bench seat and the half that hangs off the front seats headrest. That would make it so that your dog can hop onto the floor of the car, then onto the seat as Orion did at the beginning of the video. I must have failed to demonstrate that in my video, however If you look carefully at the product on amazon, you will see what I mean. The feature is intended so that one would not have to take the entire seat cover off in case a passenger wanted to sit in the back. A simple zipper would allow then to place their feet on the floor.
@@jakeguitar01 Thank you for pointing that out. I do have another brand here that I have not yet used for the reason that I posted. Considering you're further explanation here I need to take a look at it and see if it is so equipped with the zipper in the right spot. If you do the dog math, my dog and I are the same age this year so I do have empathy for him!
