Thank you for your service lads. Something that is not said enough in Great Britain. Anyone who has served alongside Gurkha soldiers knows just how good they really are.
Said it on numerous occasions and I will not stop because these chaps deserve the adulation that is given to them. Gurkhas will always be welcome in my home.
My father was a police officer for 30yrs. He told me that, the Gurkha's are the toughest guys in the field. You want them on your side, if war broke out. Great job guys

Nepal doesn't have single race. About 38% of Nepalese look like Arabic(who are called khas-arya), 27% looks like east asian(who are called mongolian),25% looks like Indian(who are called madeshi) and 10% are mixed(newar and tharu tribe) But in foreign army almost 80% of mongolian Nepalese join cause they were sent by the rulers of nepal cause rulers were khas arya and they didn't want their race to die for other countries. That why it became a tradition of Mongolians Nepalese to join foreign army. They also join indian army,Singapore police and burnei reserve force.
And now are treated like something on the bottom of your boots if they want to stay here after service... Shame on the UK. Thanks to the guys for their service/तपाईलाई धन्यवाद

Said it before and say it again: The Ghurkas are fiercest of fighters, the sharpest of drill and the most courteous of people
I agree with what you've said there overall but, just like the Fijian boys we've got, some of them are absolute Muppets
Wouldn’t say sharpest at drill

One of the best fighters in the world, congratulations 🇬🇧👊🏼 99% pass rate.. that’s insane knowing how hard it is. Amazing
99% is not surprising considering how hard and competitive the selection procedure in Nepal is. Only the very best make it to Catterick.
@SAMCA San Andreas rubbish, they are a basic infantry regiment, not even in the same league as the Paras or Marines.
@SAMCA San Andreas you've never even met a Gurkha and know nothing about them, you're just telling silly fairy stories, grow up.
Where would this country be without these men ? most highly respected members of the British Army and loved by the British people.
Exactly where it is now, minus 3 battalions of infantry.
