The person you spoke of in this video, I’ve gotten that feeling about her just from viewing her videos over the years. It’s like everyone is “beneath” her. When she made the slick, “I outgrew her” and “we weren’t friends” comments, I knew that was a bold face lie. I was talking to that video and saying, “Nah! I bet SHE outgrew YOU!” Lol. Man listen she did a video that personally hurt my feelings so bad I was like I can't keep watching her. I'mma keep it very short she was saying that if you're not a homeowner about 24 your failure. And it wasn't just that it was so much negativity and just it was some of the meanest shit I've ever heard somebody saying I was like people have reasons why they're at home You have no right I'm 28.. Regarding the person you mentioned, I stopped watching her was when she purchased her first home she said basically that if you don't have your first home by 25 you're doing something wrong. It was so tone deaf, out of touch, and immature that I immediately unsubbed. This coupled with various things that she's said over the years, she just wasn't my vibe. I'm glad you spoke about your experience.

Oh my gosh i felt this. I just turned 27 last month and it really hit me that where I’m at right now is not conducive of where I wanna be in my 30s. I am COMPLETELY fed up so I’ve been making strides towards big changes, basically a whole rebrand to get there.
The key is letting ourself grow! We don't want to be in the same place forever.

I do remember on one of Kimberly cherelles videos she said you and her were never friends just work acquaintances 😮I thought that was sad she said that because i remember you two would go out for fun together she may have gotten jealous that you were in a relationship
Work acquaintances implies that our relationship revolved around just work. So idk how she said that with a straight face. I definitely saw the biggest switch up when I mentioned being in a relationship. So much so we stopped talking before she ever met him.

@@NaturalReigndamn the relationship part was mad relatable for me cause once I posted my bf to my close friend( I’m not ready to go public due to knowing I got hella ppl who watch me with evil eye that have no real reason to dislike me) and I noticed my close galpal( or so I thought ) didn’t like the story and when I spoke to her we had plans of being roommates she just decided she was gonna move back to New York instead . Didn’t even tell me. But Ik it’s because I’m in a relationship now. And she prob assumed I’d move in with him - me and him def are getting a space now that she dropped the ball plus I wanna see him more. Thus was def my sign. She stopped calling and checking on me once I posted him
@@naiya.nicole__ A lot of women in this gen are unable to get to the exclusive relationship stage and they get jealous but will never admit it. They will male bash and pretend like they don't want a relationship but their actions show otherwise. And when you try to speak on their obvious ill feelings they want to bash you too, calling you a pick me etc but in reality they are mad that they were not chosen by anyone.

Jaelen I completely understand. I have two Science degrees and at the end of the day, they aren't serving me much. Im never one to discourage someone out of going to college, but it's not for everyone, and it doesn't end up benefitting everyone in the same ways. I feel like I invested so much time and money, for nothing (no big pay-off). In present-day, people our age are doing just fine without degrees!
Also, bump that noise about marriage. I got married _super early_ and it's one of my biggest regrets 🥴. Enjoy the rest of your twenties without being tied legally, emotionally, and financially to another person.

I encourage you to not emotionally respond to your subbies in the comments based on hearsay. Find out for yourself what was said about you, move with discernment to determine if what is being said is TRUE or worth stirring up drama! I've been on RUclips for a long time and I've seen how poisonous subbies can stir up pots and keep drama going (e.g. TashaK and Lovely Ti). Everyone has a side of an incident, speak your side and keep it at that and move on and prosper.

I love this video because you talked about finances!! I'm trying to be in my travel bag this year because I've been so focused on paying off my student loans that I'm like I need to start treating myself. I need to look into those travel credit cards for sure and I keep saying I'm going to get a Roth IRA account so I can start my investments and plan for retirement. I just have so much I want to do to set myself up for success and happiness!! Also, I'm here for the vlogs, travel info, and the mocktail videos!

Man! What I'd give to have a friend like you who has the knowledge in this space that wants to see me do well and offers that level of support. Not to say I don't have a BFF that shows up and shows out, but we're not into any social media so I find it extremely overwhelming to start but I'd like a side hustle that could become my full time gig cause this corporate life? Honey, I👏🏾am👏🏾over👏🏾it!! I just rented out my house and going to try starting a print on demand shop. 2024 goal is to get my finances up and get serious about my retirement while also taking advantage of not having a mortgage right now & taking a few trips & getting the jeep fixed up the way I want.
