I absolutely adore FF10 and it's by far my favourite FF game ( not that I've played many, but I digress ) and it has some *incredible* soundtracks. I very much enjoyed this and will be listening to it many more times. Thank you for your amazing work o7
I like pretty much all the FF games. I like the new ones, I like the old ones. Sometimes I think, after playing one or the other, "this is my favorite." But the music of FFX instantly unpacks so many emotions for me, reminding me of just how complete and well-crafted this game was. I love these arrangements. Great work.
My grandma passed away last week, Im on the bus righ now, returning from visiting my grandfather and dude, Im broken in tears. When I was a kid I used to rent this game and my grandma always enjoy to watch me play. Thanks to her, I am a novelist, so, when I heard "This is your story" I fall apart. I gave her my three novels even before got published because she was a great reader and, when "this is your story" started, you have bring me back loveley memories. Again, thank you a lot for this. Sorry, english is not my first language.
Love this album! The trumpet and strings you added to Tidus's Theme at around 03:50 always give me chills, and your version of Thunder Plains is gorgeous.
I have a hard time listening to rearrangements and covers, but each track here is so good. If there was ever an FFX remake, and someone told me this was the official OST, I would believe them, no question. You really captured the essence and soul of the game and original soundtrack.
my god im gonna listen to this thousand of times. Mt Ggazet arrangement is perfect, and the closing with A fleeting Dream arrangement is double perfectionnn.
Mr. Hultgren...just...WOW!...Impressive work with this Album. This is one of my favourites games in the PS2 and the FF games. Thank you so much for such an amazing work and keep working hard on the next releases. 😁👌
I have no idea what it is, but "Beyond the Darkness" always hits SO hard when you get to that point in the game. I'd always just stop playing and listen to for a few loops each time. You nailed it to perfection here ❤ Thank you 😁
This is truly amazing work, a work of love, no less! You are very talented and I hope you come to make more of this for other Final Fantasy games. :) EDIT: I just checked your channel and I guess you do have other FF soundtracks and even Chrono Trigger, so... My wish just came true!
Given the amount of stuff you *can* mod in FFX, it does make me wonder if it'd be possible it to into the game. Especially if we got the rest of the songs as well! I can only imagine the final cutscene song.. 😿
All of this is fantastic, but it's A Movement in Green that's standing out the most to me. That song already doesn't get its fair due for its use of the leitmotif of the whole game, and it's even better here.
I’m a stickler for random encounter battle themes in games, and even though I loved the remasters for FFX, something felt off. The original felt almost like a tango, the new ones where more energetic and heavy with lots of rock thrown in…to be honest, it sounded epic, but almost TOO epic. I feel yours is what it SHOULD have been; Spira is a world of tradition, values, and a belief system steeped in simplicity. The remaster battle theme sounds out of place when fighting a pack of fish, or a couple of wild dogs/birds with a waterfalls, beaches, and forests in the background. Don’t get me wrong, it’s an amazing battle theme, it just needed a different setting (I could absolutely get behind the remaster battle theme in something like Dissidia), yours nails it though for me. The energy is just right, it increases the energy from the original but without the hard rock. You use contemporary instruments that keep it classic. So I applaud you again for your amazing music & keeping me coming for more ear candy. PS- You also pulled off the boss theme fantastically! Again, keeping it simple but bringing that energy up from what we already had before. 😊

Real impressive work on Enemy Attack. I like it normally but it gets grating after a while. This spruces it up like it's new again!

I get that same feeling, like when I hear the theme of Macalania Woods it just creates this feeling of a magical world I want to explore

Looooovvveeee this.
Would be great if you had all of your individual tracks available on hour long loops also to work / study to 🙏😅
I wish there was a way to mod this into the game. It's so beautiful.

This is a great album. FF X is also not my favorite but it has a beautiful soundtrack
