I got into the game because of the prowler and talons and they are my daily drivers going on 3 years now. I love the look and feel of these ships, i pray we get more tevarin ships
I'd love to see more Tevarin ships as well. Since i can very easily see an Expansion that opens up Tevarin for us to play I could see a variety of other Tevarin vehicles, weapons (Gemini weapons are basically Tevarin)and of course more ships. Of course I also want to see more of my favorite little manufactuer Kruger (but that's another story). People often asked me what i would do in game if I had everything... finding a Tevarin settlement in the UEE and helping transform it into a thriving settlement always seemed a worthy goal.
Yes, more weapons and shields as well as being about as maneuverable on paper. Cargo capacity is lower but the clearance for putting boxes in is less of a hassle than the Intrepid which is overall pretty terrible imo with the exception of it's speed and agility.
Thankyou great to be back in Oz, although the heat isnt something I was realishing returning too.. Thankyou for for the kind words regarding the video and we will continue to Endeavour to keep the information and hopefully the entertainment flowing.
Thanks for asking, I did have a good, though very expensive break. Highlights, although due to COVID was heavily truncated and modified UK trip, was meeting Several Aunts and Uncles and Cousins. France and Belgium were great. Marsailles, Paris, Waterloo, Dunkirk.... only problem was I needed more time to give the places their due. For Example, I felt Waterloo needed an extra day, and Brussels needed an additional day or two. Just before I returned Home we had snow in Paris, so for me that was special.
I always enjoy this panel’s coverage. Ex, Algred and Astro I watch your videos on repeat and much of my fleet has been built from your invaluable advice thanks guys!!
Thankyou for the kind words. Good to be home. Now my finances need to recover... I doubt I could have been away much longer the exchange rate was crippling.
Execute. I am going to argue that the BMM at 237 M and the Idris M at 241 m, that tis pretty much the same size. the 890 If I remember correctly is only 205 m,
So my question is do you believe, given the assumed release window, that Alien ships will come out as expansions after 1.0 or will we get them in soon. I understand we will have the one or two be in before 1.0. I'm more meaning will 1.3 be the Banu patch with the BMM, a Banu miner, explorer etc for example.
@Inforunners Love to hear some discussion around CIG breaking their promises and raising the price of the Saber and Khartu-Al with no notice, with the likely intent of breaking a ton of CCU chains.
@@davewills148 The issue isn't balance. They didn't change either ship, other than price. And $5 up or down doesn't really do much to the value of the ships in any comparative balance way. It only really serves to mess up CCU chains, which is why CIG said they weren't going to do it again without giving us advanced notice. They didn't.
@@IllWish CIG are the experts, the price rebalance suited their metrics, yours.....well is based on bragging- rights and personal gain, i'll side withthe experts, you'll just have to melt and adapt that chain.
Endeavour is a great pick up for an upgrade. We cant say how CIG will solve the problem but when everyconbination of modules is effectively a new ship you cvan understand the the reason it will be one of the last ships built. Unlike some of the other ships like the Caterpillar and Carrack which are modular ships that have had modules teased but never sold (meaning CIG do not necessessarily need to produce ) the Endeavour has had a whole slew of modules sold and this committs CIG and also complicates the ship. One thing we can be Certain of is it will grow.
You are Soooo right, "Hello Adventurers!" would have been ideal for Alien day (Even though the character who gives the line is a garlic farmer named Greg) Although I doubt many would have got the reference :)
I know, I know... Although asthink @LAZZRIS was suggesting, "Hello Adventurers!" would have been a better phrase for Alien week (since Alan is Greg the garlic farmer).
Got the band back together! Xi'an ships: I've always felt that, with all the grav effects they have, they should crank up the maneuverability a lot, and then dampen the g-forces. Would explain why they're so crazily maneuverable. BMM: we need a Banu style guide. I strongly feel CIG needs to make at least a medium banu trader to figure out what this ship really is and how it'll work. The BMM concepts they were showing off were a big hodgepodge of great stuff and worryingly 600i-levels of wasted space.
I got the feeling the Banu opulence is more in your face and may even be made to look expensive even if it wasnt, you want to give an air of being a success even if your not. Hodgepodge can work if there is a belief that the items style show success. Space would be wasted if it served to seal the deal. if wasting space adds to profit then our Ferengi-esque Banu would be all over it.
@@algared6131 Right - I was thinking there'd probably be an area on every Banu ship that was a little like a display shelf (in smaller ships) and a full-blown museum (in larger ones) where they just have a "BEHOLD: my stuff" area
I think a lot of it is based on a statement cig made about military ships being manufacture via blueprints only. Also it might be super expensive and rep gated
We now military ships will not be sold by NPC's we'll need to grind for the blueprint, at least that seemed to be the implication at CitCon. We speculate that Alien ships (Xian and Banu) may be similar in that we'll need to do to the source. It is possible with the Hu'xa treaty certain Xian ships will be readiliy available, The Khartu-Al was built specifically for the Human market (the -Al suffix means Human) The Ralien on the other hand is Built with both races in mind. (For me this gives hope of either being able toi eventually have Xian NPC crew and or being able to play a Xian). In short we'll have to wait and see. One thing seens clear though the bigger the ship the harder the rep grind to get the blueprint.
@@algared6131 Thank you Algared. When I was listening to the Citizencon videos, I heard that players can get blueprints and build ships, even getting better or worse results depending on the quality of resources used. but I missed the part that ONLY players would be building them. Then again. I can really only listen while I'm working, which means at least half my mind is working, not paying strict attention.

Idk... The scope of what they want to create is monumental. The pledge store does sell ships that can be "p2w" for now but the stuff that can be crafted in game will be better. Basically what you can buy is the "base model". I'm also not sure if the pledge store will still be a thing on release. Also the back end server tech is incredibly cool. The server tech alone will change how other online games work in the future.
I didn't buy in thinking it would be popular. I bought in because it fills a space fantasy I don't find elsewhere. Besides, if people DO manage to solo barf out games like what this is wanting to do, in a months time, isn't that just a huge win for all of us?

I love it when Execute calls the Syulen (SYU-LEN) for Sulyen (Suly-en).
Someday, an Alien Miner ship would be really cool. Maybe it could use something like "Sound" to crack the rocks instead of a beam.
actually something like that would be great. something way different but same results or something would be great on salvage too....
I could see banu having some salvage and mining ships. Seems like it would be their forte.
Sound in a vacuum is not the best idea... 😶
Best they can do is a green beam
Sound can't propagate in a vacuum unfortunately, unless they use a physical drill impact

Thankyou for the Greeting, and for the Thanks!
Syulen is great. Its not "just" unique, its got a fair amount of firepower and speed and survivability for what it is.
I do like the Syulen as well. Although I usually dont get much time to enjoy it or my other ships :(

I am indeed, Still feeling very tired and exhausted. It's good to be back.
I hope they fix the alien ships, and the Syulen to make it competitive with the rest.
Sulyen has a lot more combat punch than something like the intrepid. So less cargo but more fighty.
Love the glaive!
I still have high hopes for the Railen. It'll be the premiere blockade runner, for when the Hull B is too slow and vulnerable.

What are people's thoughts on the Talon? Is it a good fighter? Or is it just cool?
Also for the Khartul Al like all light fighters can't deflect dmg rn because bullets are too fast compared to ship speed

I do indeed, rumours of my demise were exagerated (though at times I dont think nby much :)
The Syulen and Intrepid feature wise trade blows. So It's pretty much just a play style and ascetics choice.

The Star Citizen Trinity is back!
Wow the Trinity! High praise thankyou kind Sir!
Is there confirmation that they are going to do work on unique alien flight models in master modes?
For the game to be deeper than a thimble then interiors need to matter.
I just wish they would adjust the flight AOA of the Talon and Shrike... it makes me sad.
Tavarin Warship? Xi'an Warship?
Can't buy the Vanduul Sythe only get that free from have a subscription to star Citizen
Great day for fishin aint it!! ahuuhhhh :D VLDL are great
I agree!
I logged in to see my Polaris, i logged out with 15 FPS and no desire to mine rocks or run cargo
But hey... "progress"
Geiger style is the old vanduul, right? Updated will be 40k Orks?
Or do I have that backwards? HR Geiger is the new style, and it is going away from Brutal and Kunnin.
New style will be more Geiger.
