    for opening encounter, don't shoot last node until you have completed all other nodes for each 4 sections. Shooting last node spawns supplicants so by saving the last node for all 4 at a time, you avoid supplicants. For ascend spire, killing hydra spawns supplicants so your decision on whether u hate hydras more or supplicants more

    • @Unvexed

      @@HebgryI agree. Pit of heresy is the easiest one. The hardest part of that one is the chamber of suffering, but once you figure out how to deal isn’t it, even that isn’t that bad. Then I would do grasp of avarice, and then prophecy which out of the ones I’ve done is the hardest. I don’t know how duality fits in there because I took a break when season of the haunted started and just came back a few weeks ago. From my experience with Spire, I think it shouldn’t be too hard, especially later in the season once people are a higher power level. The trickiest part of this one will be the final boss, and having enough patience to go through more damage phases than the bosses of the other dungeons, as none of those ones took me more than three or four phases.

    I kinda dig agers on the last boss. Every shatter staggers him, so he ends up standing in place not shooting. It’s not great damage, but it ends up being pretty nice support for less experienced teammates, where it keeps the boss from rushing them down so they can do damage.
    This guide is great, one thing I will say though is restoration is super helpful in the last boss. Using a dps agers build, I had no trouble with the first boss, but during the last boss, it’s difficult to have a moment to breath where you can heal up, and one moment of the boss catching you out of position would mean death, which really wasn’t fun. Thanks for the solid content!

      @@NoVACorpsGaming yeah, that’s what I’ve been using. Trying to solo the final boss though, it would have been an 11 phase with the damage I was doing. I’m not the highest light and I don’t have any of the dps artifact mods, but it still felt on the low side of good dps. Solo runs really need some absolutely cracked dps in order to not feel miserable.
      Like, I can do about a sixth of the first boss’s health with no debuff using agers (font+HEF), which is great on a team of 3, where there will be a debuff and time extension for a really solid damage phase. But solo, it turns into a 6-7 phase slog, where I’m just wishing I was doing more damage.
      I really should have been using other setups, but I really don’t feel like setting up armor with the right stats while dim is down ;-;

    A suggestion for Akelous: instead of jumping below to get font of might on the goblins below, breaking the head of a goblin before damage phase will make him chase you to your damage spot. Killing a goblin immediately in front of you will save a lot of time. This is not something I used during my run because I had not thought of it until later, but it works very nicely for all my regular runs.

Theres isnt really anything in particular that can kill you. Duality has physics, bugs and its mechanics are a lot harder and the consequeces of failing any of the mechanics are a lot worse. The only thing making this dungeon hard is that the bosses have a shitton of health. I didnt even really set out to do flawless bc it dont have any of the 5th column artifact mods unlocked yet but got it anyway.

If you want to run an actual “build” use star fire as it basically serves the same purpose just 10x better because double exploding fusion nades are way better than solar nades, and while you can’t really use them for damage on harpy they’re at least actually helpful during the in between phases, and if you want just general survivabilty over a specific build, just throw on karnsteins with healing nades to help keep you alive. Also if you’re doing it this season, wait until you get weakened clear and the solo fire team mod, it’s doable without but you’re kind of just wasting your time not taking advantage of a free plus 30% damage.

    i found akelous a lot easier than persys personally. big crit spot. low ad density. no supplicants. spawns are trigger based and deterministic. With persys ads spawn the moment you clear an entire wave and the supplicants are really fucking aggressive meaning you're constantly either killing them, spawning more, or baiting them and jumping over them, meaning more spawn eventually anyways. my solo flawless took me an hour and a half and an hour of that was JUST the persys encounter.
