Blake always loved Jeff as a son!!! He also wanted Jeff to legally change his name to Carrington abd he wouldn't do it!!! This clinic needs to update their privacy rules and regulations about how the clinic is run!!! This would not be happening today but it is television and dramatic effects come first and foremost. I work in healthcare do know all about rules and regs!!! The ending where Blake finds Fallon is a very touching scene and well done acting wise. I even teared up when I first saw it!!! Good father/ daughter interaction. Blake did the right thing staying calm and caring when he talked to her!!! I feel most dads would become raging monsters and yell their heads off!!!( not good,and wrong approach to take.)
Yes to compete with her. In the real life Pamela Sue Martin was pregnant, so the baby would have been born anyway. I believe they had to write everything and make a story line out of it.
Alot of times when someone is pregnant on a television show they will use it on the story line if it works. In this case it did!!! Otherwise they hide your pregnancy buy shooting you from the top or having you stand behind something. There's always the bulky clothes route too!!! Maybe her choices about the why and what were immature but she also saved a life!!! That's what is most important here!!!🙂😊😇🤰👼👍👍👍👨👩👦😏
In real life when this was made if people had decided what fallon did. how many people would be alive today,watching these videos,perhaps they would have become doctors nurses,rich famous. even poor and a hard life. life is always better than the alternative no life and death

Geez this show had some edge back then. It's nearly 40 years later and I can't imagine a network show taking on an abortion subplot this way now.

She decided to keep the pregnancy rather for her father's sake, than for her own...Still a bit immature.
Abortion had only been legal for 9 or 10 years when this episode debuted. It had much more stigma than today.
At least in the end she didn't regret having Little Blake. That's the most important thing.
