I can't tell you how irritated I am! My mother is Welsh, but she married my father and raised our family in the US. (That isn't why I am irritated though.) I have been to Wales a few times in my life and NEVER went on a fun boat ride, never went to the Brecon Beacons. I feel like I had the geriatric tour of Wales, so it is so fun (and a bit irritating) to see the fun, adventurous side of Cymru. If you ever visit the US, there is a Welsh town (settled by Welsh miners) in Pennsylvania called Delta. I grew up near there and went to the Welsh chapel. I even sang in the Welsh choir, so I knew all of my hymns and prayers in Welsh (but had no clue what I was saying!! Good thing God speaks Welsh!) 🤣

She spent the better part of several months trying to convince me Wales is an actual country. I told I had never heard of it. And me being a Yank she actually believed me! She passed some years ago, after a battle against breast cancer. But our arguments over Wales, and sheep and having to put on wellies was epic! So many nights on the computer chatting together and just laughing till tears! I still miss her!! I hope someday I can visit. I follow the Beans already as well! ;) Hugs
We did a day trip to Wales 30 years ago. It is a beautiful country. I'm looking forward to the next episode. I have an ancestor who fought in the American Revolution ( American side) who was from Wales. Maybe that is why I enjoy your videos so much. Safe travels.
OMG... first time on your channel and I feel at home. Love that you show the not so perfect bits like the bumps on the ricecooker and dropping the food on the floor not to mention forgetting to lock the car. All could, well and probably have, happened to me. Back in the 80s on a school trip when we were 13ish, we stayed in tents and made our own cooking or well we heated precooked food... However I where to pick up the pancakes one day and stumbeled over a root or actually over my own feet I guess and dropped all the pancakes for the 5 of us. My "tentmates" got slightly pissed... and I tried to get new pancakes but there where none. Said as my mum always did " Lite skit rensar magen" (Swedish) - "A little dirt will clean the stomach" wich more or less is used to say that "it's nothing to bother about" but the actual meaning is a bit frightful tbh. Well, now I'm off to explore more on your channel. :-)

Just started this Wales tour after binging Mongol and India.... my mom's family immigrated to the U.S. waaaay back in the 1700s, but have maintained an awesome family tree showing the family connections. I am SO excited to find out more about this beautiful place! And I can't think of better guides than the two of you. Never knew the lingo before, but now I think I can say for sure YOU ARE LEGENDS!!

Even tho we’re now 60. 6 years Rob fell from scaffolding.he’s now wheelchair we wanted to be able to get away with our dogs and not rely on accessible holidays Nightmare 😩.So we bought a motorhome that’s got a lift put into it to accommodate his wheelchair And a side out with wet room It’s pretty unique . We’ve not really had anytime to really use it because of the lockdown. We live in Carmarthenshire . Stumbled on your videos the weekend and absolutely love you guys. Really enjoyed the video with the different gadgets giving us more ideas lol. We’re now hooked on your channel and subscribed Thank you 🙏🏻 so much.

Evening lads! I notice you passed Talybont-On-Usk Reservoir. I stayed along the wall for 2 nights few weeks back and had a lush walk around the reservoir with the dogs. Had to make a banging curry when I got back! I was also going to head to Pontsticill but wasn't sure about it, now I know for next time, whoop whoop! That sunset too! It must have been the one I witnessed in Elan Valley last Saturday. The Elan Valley to Aberystwyth mountain road was something UNREAL that evening! I'm surprised I haven't bumped into you yet, 😂 How on earth did you end up so far away from your boating destination? Somone needs to be sacked 😂I pissed when captain B dropped the veggie spice fest too 👌
