I noticed Vox's face always has that smile with fear behind his eyes, just that "I'm doing this to try and show not only the world by myself that I'm the one in control here! LOOK AT ME! I'M THE ALPHA! I'M THE POWERFUL ONE HERE!" like, dude, if you have to say it, you're simply not.

I think a lot of people are underestimating Vox tbh, while undeniably less powerful than Alastor, he appears to have more influence over pride's population, and the blackout was likely a combination of Alastor's power and Vox having the technological equivalent of a seizure while being hooked up the grid.
This just made ne think that vox is a showman, he is great at picking your attention, advertising you and sell you into something, but he is scripted so at the slight opposition he got flustered and lost the control, while alastor is more like a comentarist so he could factually dismantle vox arguments, he is weaker cuz he needs people and upgrades to show overwhelming power, alastor treats his radio theme as his identity but his power comes from dark arts, he is not threatened by other overlords as in raw power he comes on top

@@CF-or3ci My theory is that they had a fight and Vox only won because the other Vees joined the fight in the nick of time. In the song Alastor sings about how Vox is powerless without the other Vees so he might still be salty about that.
Vox clearly screwed himself with this fight. All his schemes so far has failed and instead even inadvertently helped Alastor and the hotel. I would love to see his reaction when he finds out Pentious(who he sent to the hotel and told to kill himself) made it to heaven.
So, if you think about it, The other two v's would have nothing without Vox, cutting-edge tech is completely his thing and the other two need tech for everything, so they need him more than he needs them. Also he clearly has to be pretty damn powerful if he can black out all of pentagram city, so clearly he's not a pushover physically, emotionally though, he falls faster than a house of cards in a tornado, ah who cares, Vox is still my personal Favorite V and antagonist
