Nicki is as fantastic as ever. A big bonus is the drummer : well syncopated and polyrhythmic with plenty of groove and tasty fill-ins. And, no overplaying or underplaying … just about right. Albert Atkinson : a name to remember.
I got to meet Nicki in 2008 with the Les Paul trio in NY.. absolutely one of the highlights of any of our trips.. she is gorgeous and our pic hangs up with pride.. Not to mention meeting the Great man himself.. what a night.

just wow!!!!!!! first heard her singing "i'll take manhattan" on another video and assumed she was the singer in quartet with a dynamite backup trio. i was especially impressed with the bass player. ....little did i know. i'm just blown away!!!!
