In this video, I have shown the easiest and cheapest way in which you can restore your bike's worn out paint, (Restore your bike's old paint) at home using a very few tools.
As an automotive enthusiast I know how much you love your car and bike, so why not keep it new?
When that can be done only by spending a dyne!
The spray paint can be easily found at your local hardware store, along with emery papers(sandpapers).
So get going and do this awesome DIY and make yourself proud.
Though I am giving Amazon link to the spray paint, I have not tried the same. And you can find cheaper and better spray paint offline.

Great Job. I did mine with a Fine paint Brush. Though the finish in yours was much better as it was spray paint.

bro....you should also give clear coating on the top to avoid the paint removal when you water wash the bike and to also protect from sunlight

My pulsar engine and alloy is in grey colour and I want to paint it black. Do I have to use sand paper even for engine bay and alloy?
Sand paper is used to prep the surface so that paint can stick to it. Now I think you get the idea.

Bhai sukha nahi ho ga abhi, bec mera almost 2 din lag gya tha, and I also made a mistake where I thought paint would have dried after a day so I touched it, and it had my fingerprints and I had to repaint it, so wait for some more time. It should give your expected results.
Also if u have kept it outside make sure there is no dust around because if that's not the case then the finish will not be upto your expectations.

acrylic based is quick dry but its doesnt a scratch resistant after this apply a pp based clear coat like mrf clear will increase the life of base coat and makes ur finish as glossy or matt dnt leav only with acrylic based coat

Yes brother primer and clear coat would be better but here in India it is difficult to find spary cans of clear and primer. (Atlest where I live)

No bec this is not a high temp paint! Some people do it but u get my point. It will not be able to withstand the heat generated by the engine.. So pls don't try. U can do it with high heat resistant spray paint, but that too after proper initial prepping of the surface. Atb👍

U know the meaning of aerosol? In that manner the paint i used in the video is also an aerosol, in fact, everything in a can under pressure is aerosol! I said to use a high heat resistant spray which is again an aerosol.

Go to any automotive paint shop. U should find it. Search on Google automotive paint shop near me and u will be good to go.

It will loose the paint r not.
Bro after a few days it is will be like your normal paint you won't even notice, but if you want you can use clear coat spray also available in aerosol.
Right some time it depend selected paint type u need to know...before use....

How to understand exact color of my bike to buy the paint...
If u have to paint small parts like this then u can buy generic colours, like black and all but if want to match colour for any specific area then go to an automotive paint shop with a sample and they will make exact colour as u want, if they have an option for making a spray can then that will be awesome but mostly they do not make custom aerosol in india so u have will have to buy paint only, again u won't be able to apply that as it will need expertise. So u will have to go with generic colours and anyways this is jugaad and not factory method. So I hope this answers your questions. 😉

Check if light has fused or not, if not then check the wiring, mostly the light would have fused.
Which paint we should use??
I used a normal gloss black spray paint available at any hardware store and it worked pretty well.
Ideally we should first remove all the paint then apply primer then paint then clear coat, but it is a DIY so...

Bro I have not painted it on the tank, also the area that I have painted it onto will never contact petrol whatsoever, also brother this is A DIY and u can not expect factory finish.
Get a primer coat on it. Or a clear coat after that problem solved
@@timersvrock yes we can do that Infact this is what should be done! but mostly we won't find clear coat in spary cans in our local hardware store. Also after 8 months the finish is quite nice and i will share the image in the community post.

U should not paint the machines surface u would mask and paint otherwise friction will go clamping tension will reduce in fork

Yes there are a few solutions,
⚫ If the strike is not very deep and is only on the clear coat then polishing it will remove the scratch.
⚫ Or you can get your tank wrapped
⚫Or if it is a dent then u have to repair the dent and then repaint it, but u will have to take it to a denter and painter in this case.

Brother just go to google and search for pulsar logo and then resize it and print it on sticker paper. And cut it accordingly and paste it where ever u want.

No it won't, atlest not properly and firmly and if it is a very smooth surface than the spray will just glide like water! I painted a few plastic parts but I took a sand paper and rubbed it once over the part completely so that the paint has something to stick to. Then it will work.
