- Getting all the welding done on the custom Buick bumper on the 49 Chevy Fleetline. Even got to use the cut and butt method to install section in the bumper where the original bumper guards use to mount. Building bumper brackets to mount the bumper as well.

The bumper belongs in an art museum, very nice work.
I agree! Chrome it up!!
Another great educational video, never get tired of watching how you customize these vehicles that you work on. You are such a great teacher.
I really love hearing the real shop noises with a little (very little) RUclips music in the background. I miss being in the shop, hearing the reality of shop life is why I'll always like your channel best. Thanks, Tony, for keeping it real.😊
People watching this who have never done this type of fabbing will have no idea how much time is required to create something like this. I'm hoping there are folk out there to replace us, but sadly in 20 years i don't think there will be anyone left to replicate this type of ability to fabricate. Keep it up Tony!
I honestly can say, after watching and doing these techniques, learning really, from him, adds at least some skills out there
Thank you for showing us your difficulties (they're not mistakes) because it helps many of us accept when things don't work and we have to cut it out and start again. Your humility is both admirable and inspiring!
This man is bob ross with a ball pen hammer and a mig welder
That was funny.
I stumbled upon this channel a few years ago. I could easily watch a two hour long fitzee video. It's satisfying watching each part and panel come together one piece at a time.
That is a tremendous amount of work. Hope the owner appreciates your dedication to your craft.
Fitzee will be the owner!!
Hey Tony, I just wanted to say I really like the way you take the time to explain what you are going to do and then show the process. I know you put a lot of time and effort into getting each part to fit right the way you want and it shows in your final product. Great video and tips to help how to do a great job, keep up the great videos and work on the projects. Later
Extremely satisfying to watch. Thanks for sharing the trials and the triumphs; especially with the Princess Auto & Mastercraft equipment. Again all with very basic tools. Very Canadian.
Thank you for taking the time showing the process I've learned a lot from watching your videos
Master!!
The bumper fabrication & Unicorn Heads are the best !
I always look forward to your next video, it’s my highlight of each week. It might be me but You sounded a little stressed out. Be kind to yourself mate, you have a solid and growing fan base and we love you for your gifts of knowledge ❤
Definitely a work of art, what a great looking design on the front of that car, the owner truly didn't know what a piece of junk he had until you started fixing it, beautiful work Tony
You make it look easy Tony. Your years of experience really shows. Thanks again for sharing your skills with us. The TIPS are always good.👍👍❤
As always, I'm slack jawed watching you make this stuff work.
As usual, another great display of art work!
That is one great bumper you've made for the 49.
Lol - was really getting into that musical jam at 20:00 watching you work. Sad it eventually ended (the work and the music) but appreciated the excellent editing where they melded like a good weld into the ending.
Ive moved on to paint prep fitzee, thanks again dude, from a non southern ontario farm boy :)
Just for fun, I decided to look on a map to see in general where you are. LOL Holy crap, dude! I guess you don't have to worry much about super fans flocking to your shop! You do great work... fun to watch.
Hahaha you just stroll into my neck of the woods . Lol
Great work, you're a very meticulous craftsman! I love watching.😊
This is going to be one very cool hotrod when it’s done I can only imagine how many spools of wire is going to be in it
Slow and methodical way to go Fitzee
Amazing work. You sir are a fine craftsman.
He's a happy welding warrior.
(and reluctant grindist)
Someone saw the title of this video and asked me if it was about the Brazilian Butt lift...I said " NOOooo Not Fitzee! I started the video and whew! what a relief! By cut and butt you meant a steel bumper !
You're work is as good as it gets and you're videos are equally awesome
That bumper looks real smart on the car. I liked the way you worked it a bit at a time. The brackets are nice and simple but effective. The bumper looks like it belongs there. Great tips.
I would really like to see how the owner is going to finish off those bumpers.
I sure hope he has the cash to get them chrome plated!
A hammer is a hammer is a hammer. Ball peen one of my favorite tools 😮😮 thank you sir
Thanks for your true calling, passing on your techniques, talents and the knowledge of tools and your acceptance of the new materials and techniques so all of us can, if not perform, then at least be able to understand the process.
Huzzah! Huzzah!
Sometimes the most important tool in a shop is a huge, flat metal table! I worked in a custom and restoration body shop for a while that had no tables. After being there a short time, I told the owner that we needed some tables to work on. As soon as he bought one, the body man/painter who had been there for years put all of his work on it. I didn't stay there very long.
I’m anxious to see this car completely done… but I’m guessing that’s a long way off!! Spectacular work as usual though…
Back in the old days, chrome was done properly. First they copper plated the item, then nickel plated it, then chrome plated it. That's why really old chrome-work is usually in a lot better condition that more recent stuff, which is often just chrome plated over steel , so it doesn't last like the old stuff did.
When referring to 'decorative chrome plating' - eg. bumpers - you cannot chrome plate the steel without the part being nickel plated. However, I agree that some of the current chromed metal items are subpar - usually because they skimp on the nickel plating - i.e. by applying one layer of nickel as opposed to the traditional two layers. Needless to say, a copper layer is normally applied before the nickel to provide for a superior finish - i.e. 'fills' all the imperfections.
Thank you so much for all I have learned from watching your channel.
Looking great, thanks for sharing, all the best to you and your loved ones
Nice work Tony. The bumper is looking good. Nice how you spliced in those 2 indented spots. You can't even tell!
Excellent work Tony Looks killer KOOL
Great tips Fitz
The guy who owns that car is racking up quite a big bill Lol. Alot of excellant work. Thanks for the video
Getting smoother!
Fantastic work as usual. I also loved the video of the welding inside of the bumper showing through red on the outside too!
Bob villa is gonna go find a hole to hide in... great job.
ur still the best luv ur teaching
If you had to charge fair money for the work you do, I am sure you wouldn't have had any clients that could afford your work! Absolutely amazing what you achieve - just a pity you make it look so deceptively easy!
You Are An Inspiration! I'm Back in My Shop.Bought one of those heaters! I am a decent Fabricator myself, Getting stuff Done Right. Sheetmetal was always a mystery. Thank you for the tips and tricks! I have The Triumph Motorcycle Oil Tank I tried to mount upside down like a speed twin that warped and slagged and looks like something that came out of a volcano with my 80's Harbor Freight Mig Welder. I have a grinder! never Toss the Idea! I got a Grinder!
Great work and video, Fitzee. Nice to see Wendy’s Mustang back in the shop. 👍
Hi Tony, another nice progress on the 49 Chevy, looking good!
Peanut also seems happy with it 🙂
Cheers 👍💪✌
What confuses me is why you would only have 152000 subcribers, and bad chad has 310,he doesnt hold a candle to you.
Chad does daily uploads. Big difference
I agree more intelligence here
Chad clickbaits b00ty thumbnails of his girl.
We are more intellectual than Bad Chad's subscribers.
Amen
I am a fan of cars as art, and you are an artist of the first order. Thanks
That car looks great Fitzee , all that work has really paid off . Very well done
Lots of work getting that bumper pretty close to perfect so that it can be re-chromed. The shop inspector was happy with the way it turned out.
Another great video Fitzee
True craftmanship. Nice job.
Great job,bumper looks awesome
It's a dirty shame it costs so much for plating because that would look awesome with a fresh Chrome job , really nice job !
Awesome job Tony!
Man! That's a lot of work! Great job Fitzee!
Looks awesome!
Very good job.
Great work Fitzee 👍
You do such amazing work and tricks
Great job Fitts it's lookin good. 👍👍
Amazing what that car looks like now compared to how it started
Looks great .
Looking good !!
Excellent work 💯
Looks great..... It's tons of work
Fantastic job tony that chevy looking better with every video
If I came into a ton of money, I'd try to purchase this car from the owner. Having all the brightwork chromed and picking out a beautiful candy paint color would be a lot of fun, maybe have a few thin scallops painted on as well, or some subtle seaweed style ghost flames. Maybe some Cadillac sombrero styled wheel covers.
By the way, fantastic job on the video editing, Fitz!
You do nice work Fitzee 👨🏻🎨
The tip i picked up was plugging a round hole with a piece of scrap rounded at the end, I'll be trying that one, thanks!
I tend to fill holes with a copper backing plate and no filler material other than the mig wire. Either way can out nice.
Cool thanks for sharing
While watching you using the grinder left handed it seemed to me that it is a much safer side to be on. I tried switching to my left hand today and I wasn’t getting a face full of sparks and the front of my coveralls wasn’t full of hot metal dust. I’m going to be a left handed cutter and butter from now on. The tips were good.👍
Tony that is bad a$$ my friend!
Thanks for another one 😄
Awesome looks amazing. Really starting to come together now
Love custom skys the limit. Awsome job
Thanks Fitzee!
Damn nice fitze. U can tell u have a lot of experience doing this
Great work......
Nice clamp collection you have there. No doubt you put them to good use. I need to get a few more myself.
Looking good 😉
Like no. 819...come on guys for the amount of views we need to give Fitzee the recognition he deserves...make every view a like to boost the channel...He deserves it
The likes always amaze me, or lack of to be more precise. There are a lot of people who must view videos and not bother hitting the like button. Seems like it's the least we can do considering what Fitzee has just given us 😢
More and more are watching on a TV now and only till resent that you could like on your TV
Wow very nice doing the work is a talent on its own figuring out what needs to be done. to get there is a whole nother level toshay my man toshay 😮
Some people are blinded by the chitter chatter. And the easy way to get it done
That was amazing thank you so much
Beautiful 🙂👍
Awesome👍🏻
Nice job! I'm hoping plans are to have it all replated.
very nice work
For sure the quality of the plating is very good with a copper and a nickel underneath coats and for such an old and weathered part, the chrome is in a very good shape, no peeling and no pitting, I can't say the same thing of the chromes of the late syxties up produced cars
excellent video.
SUPER ..THANKS...
Thanks!
Thank you
Nice work, we used to have 10 platers in Chicago area... now zero unless youre spending 100k a project. If anyone knows a good plater in the midwest please give em a shout here.
hi you does awesome work i live out in corner brook
Hey Fitzee again, just a note I'm excited to see what and how are you going to design the mustache bar down to the bumper, love learning from other people's designs and how they come about them
Looking Good.

great schtuff.
just noticed you have a push rod air nozzle, I made one about 2 decades ago, still have. Pretty handy to have.
That one I have is over 20 years-old!
