Might be controversial, but Redkite is the best DCS video tutorial maker. Period. I prefer these over Wags even. Redkite, Wags and Gaffer are a cut above.
Wags has a very "Eagle Dynamics" charm to him and it's somehow very comforting seeing his videos, but for actual learning, information, and a clean video experience RedKite has consistently been a cut above IMO. I think the only creator who's been close is maybe Jabbers back in the F-14 days, who's content I also gorged all of.
VsTerminus is there in detail also in delivery and depth. HIP depth is amazing and translates to all helos. Redkite to me is in a cadence of time to see the described area of interest appropriately without needing to rewind. Similar to telling a person a phone number at a speed and pattern that can be written down.
The best way to understand stuff is to watch several anyway. But RedKite certainly is among the best. I also love Rakuzard's tutorials (which are in German though), they're top notch as well. Agree on vsTerminus with the Mi-8. That series is world class.
had to look up this tutorial after engine failure because i didn't think i'd need to know how to before flying. ultimate pucker factor while in a fight
excellent video, as always, follows the procedure of the real F1 manual very closely ... thanks a lot for another addition to this video series and will eagerly wait for the next video 😇
They already said they aren’t due to the classified files because Iran is still trying to get more parts or info for the f14s so the USA won’t let them have the files
So about that last statement, what causes the compressor stalls we need to avoid? Excessive yaw, AoA, throttle movement like the TF-30's? Do they require a shutdown in the F1?
Well the outside model isn’t really a huge deal, lets be real. It’ll look good enough for formation flying. It only looks lackluster when you’re zoomed in.
Is there a was we can easily simulate / induce flameout for practice / training? One of the fuel cut-off switches? OR should we just fly inverted for a while to starve the engine >:)
After going too fast... there only seems to be AB on or off across half of the throttle axis. No RPM left though, relight doesn't seem to work for me now :D
I don't see any good reason not to have it other than extra development time. We have DCS modules right now with fictional English cockpits including the C-101.
Rather MiG-23. Both 2nd generation 1950s/1960s fighters Mirage III and MiG-21 were delta wing classics. Both 3rd generation 1970s Mirage F1 and MiG-23 had unconventional wing to allow greater mission flexibility. Both 4th generation 1980s Mirage 2000 and MiG-29 again returned to delta wing, but less orthodox and more advanced, MiG with LERX and Mirage destabilators and unstable aerodynamic design.
eh, you really won't have a flameout unless you mishandle the jet and it takes about 10 seconds of neg g's to starve it. The Mig-21 is far more troublesome in that department.
Next stop, Radar! (Hopefully)
ETA on radar?? :)
RRRRAAAAADDDAAARRRR!!!!!!
Does this include weaponry? :D
Can't wait to see all the kinds of loadouts this plane can carry. This is looking like a very exciting module
pumped!

I've never been about to get into Wags' mouth-noise ASMR videos.
It's a nice change from all the Americans who begin almost every sentence with "Let's go ahead and...", it makes my teetch itch.
i'm starting be hyped for this thing
it looks like a lot of fun
Hope the F1 is out soon, really looking forward to including it in scenarios

A quick aside but that radar image is gorgeous

I see the release is set for the 20th July according to today’s ED email. Very much looking forward to it. Thank you RedKite for these tutorials.
the textures are so crisp
can't wait to get my hands on this!
i’m looking forward to some iraqi f1 vs iranian f-14 scenarios
I think we are all looking forward to testing out the performance parameters of this exciting aircraft!
Good tutorial. Doesn’t look that complicated. Hopefully it doesn’t compressor stall as much as the Viggen.
So stoked for this. Any idea when it will become available for early access?
July 20th
Playing BFM PVP tonight. Compressor stalls killed me more often than my opponent.
Excellent tutorial I look forward to this module releasing soon
Thanks for helping us learn this very excited for the module day 1 buy for me
Loving these videos, they're exactly what I need to learn this great module
Cant wait for the radar vids
The F1M will be sweet later down the road. It reminds me of an F-14D (which I hope Heatblur will make later on); cold war - modernized aircraft.

Très bien
your Tutorials ar Amazing well done !

My guess is this will be here by this Friday! I'm also curious are they making a two seat version as well?
Yes, they are. The F1BE.
@@kontiuka Didn't they also say they were making more variants like a glass cockpit version?
@@F22raptor46 They are making 4 versions. The F1CE, F1BE, F1EE, and F1M (glass cockpit version).
Very cool! I am eagerly looking forward to it!
IS the flight model on this thing accurate? Cos I was having my first go yesterday, and I'm fairly certain I was easily supercruising on the deck
Great video! Thank you for the inside. I hope they rework the external model. Looks like the external is not up to the DCS standart for me.

Just put the throttle into cut off, which is what i did for the example at the end.
Good to know if I end up in a -4G dive....
Release it already 🤩
can't wait..my style, my plane
again looks like this release is imminent
so uhh.. anyone else pausing the game and looking this video up for no specific reason... yeah same.

What a sound
I am upset we havent gotten it yet!
Do you know if this will come with an English cockpit?
The devs haven't excluded the possibility, but there won't be one at release, that said, I've had no issues with it being French/Spanish.
@@RedKiteRender Ok, thanks!

It s nicknamed the tomcat killer.
