Overall, this song is such a catchy and happy summer tune. The small guitar part in the verses is my favorite section.

For a bit of historical (full circle moment); Gloria Estefan was the lead singer of the Miami Sound Machine during the 80's when this song became one of thier smash hits, not long afterwards, a popular television show Cops debuted using the theme song from a popular Reggae band Inner Circle called Bad Boys (whatcha gonna do) which lead to the title of the Bad Boys movies which take place in Miami, Fl.

I never confirmed but pretty sure this was inspired by the musical cats from just about three years before this song was a hit. "Memories" had been a pretty bit hit from it and it was still somewhat fresh . Anyway I always liked this song. Can remember it being played on our shopping mall's sound system at the time.
