People missunderstand the Marvel Netflix shows getting cancelled. It's not that they don't want to make any more or that they don't do well, it's that Disney is going to launch their own streaming bullshit so they are either going to move them there, or remake them there.
What's really bad is, in the last episode, they set up this thing where the trans alien character goes back to her hometown, taking Kara with her for reasons. Then we find out her powers are inherited through the females and that one sister gets them and one doesn't. Of course, it turns out, that she doesn't want them but her sister does. THEN, when the sister actually makes the great point when she asks how her sister gets the powers when she's not a real woman (being trans) and SHE is treated as bad for asking the obvious question. How is that exactly? How is it that her sister is the bad guy for asking an obvious and intelligent question? It's political B.S.
@@gerkilordofcoin4378 Yeah, I know they're going full on SJW, which includes talking about how great trans people are but when you have a character, in one line say that the power is passed, genetically to the females of their species, then mentions transiting to a woman there is a logic break somewhere. The really funny thing is before the other sister said it I was asking myself that question the entire time. So apparently, I'm a a bad person too.
Chris McWilliams. lol they could have. thought of bring 2 new characters on the show one was the dreamer who is a real woman and the other who is a trans her character could been good or bad and this season would've been fine no once again they want to be dumb and cheap.
the arrowverse better drop this shit show before it takes the rest of the arrowverse with it. and for that matter they should drop legends of tomorrow and black lightening. the only shows they have not completely ruined are flash and arrow and they are the first 2 in the arrowverse, the rest are just extra now, all they are doing is taking away from arrow and the flash's budget, and dragging down the quality of the arrowverse as a whole.
@@alexf.6521 don't worry, this will be the final season because Melissa Benoist is quitting the show to do Broadway, as is the guy that plays Cisco on the Flash show. and Since Melissa plays Supergirl, the show ends, because there is no supergirl show without supergirl.
5:00 The Day the Earth Stood Still taught him to fear aliens? The movie where the aliens are friendly and view the humans as short sighted and violent? I don't think the show's writer has ever seen that movie.
I haven't seen the remake, but in the original the aliens turn off power to the whole Earth (hence the title) and threaten them with obliteration by killer robots if they don't become peaceful. They aren't full on hostile, but I wouldn't call them friendly.
@@evilkittyofdoom195 Which on some level makes them scarier since it is evidence of vastly increased technological capabilities on their part. Fear of someone and something is in some ways dependent both on their intentions and their abilities. The airplanes and hospitals thing may have cranked down the fear of their intentions, but it cranked up the fear of their abilities.
Look up Filmore and Hey Arnold. Also static shock and teen Titans. Kids shows with writing that ensures that even older audiences can enjoy it making it almost timeless.
Thorias: At the rate this show is going, God help me, I think there's worse to come. Me, someone whose seen the first 2 seasons: Starts laughing and then crying.
All that's next is an episode or story arc involving the voluntary decision to end the life of a baby. But the decision to kill that baby will be defended by Supergirl because infanticide is now "OK".
Or straight up beat their asses. God damn it, Martian Manhunter is almost as, or in some itterations equally as strong as Superman! Plus he can phase, transform, mindfuck people, has telekinesis... I wish for once they didn't use him as the Vegeta of DCU
I can’t wait to see how you react when you get to the episodes where Kara straight up says that she’s better than humans because she has powers, or when the writers start offering up their views on other political topics outside of feminism (such as racism, homosexuality, immigration, gun control, etc). Trust me, your assumption that the worst is yet to come is more true than you could possibly imagine.
One thing I don’t like about Kara is how she says that vigilantes are weird or whatever because they wear masks and change their voices like??? Seriously?
7:40 yes, I hate this when tv "detectives " just guess the right answer, for once I want the bad guy to ask them where they got those ideas from just to find them embraced when they realize that they are terrible detectives.
I'd prefer to see a Superman show with Tyler Hoechlin. It doesn't matter if Smallville was on the air for years, it lasted long because people watched it.
+James Tomato Smallville Season 10 was more interested in Lois Lane and getting her married than Clark becoming Superman and fighting off Darkseid. That and they just didn't have the budget for it.
@@@valentinward3657 I'd have to agree, they dropped the ball with Season 10. They teased Darkseid and Apokolips all season, but as I remember, in the end it was an old guy with a beard who could turn into a black cloud with glowing red eyes - oh, scary (sarcasm). Then, when they brought back Clark's Dad to give him the Superman suit (OK Jor-El made it in the Fortress, not his Mom like in the comics) there was another missed opportunity. They should've let Jonathan talk to Clark as he put the suit on, kind of like he would've if he could've been there for Clark as he put on his tux for the wedding. I think WB studios lent Smallville Brandon Routh's Superman suit, but I don't think Tom ever wore it like they said. Those suits are built to an exact fit, and they're both different heights, weights, and body builds. In what should've been a series ending, emotional, and triumphant moment, Jonathan looked sorta ridiculous carrying that suit still on its plexiglass form. He looked like he was carrying a person around. You could see the strain on his face because of its bulk/weight. In the end, I think they just CGI'd the suit on Tom.
Yeah, the show used Lex's dad as a vessel for Darkseid. Oliver Queen too if I remember correctly. They dropped the ball all season when it came to the New Gods. Ghost Jonathan as a concept really cheapened his death. Same is true to Jor-El, too. In the penultimate episode he takes away Clark's powers and gives them to Lois. It's the penultimate episode to the whole series and it's wasted on a side plot and a side character. Smallville = Clark Kent. It's not like in the Lois & Clark show. It's ridiculous how the show show which gave us Dark Clark and Martha Jones jacket Clark couldn't be bothered to create its own costume for the finale. And no, Tom never wore Routh's costume either. It was cheap CGI and one of the many reasons I still haven't rewatched the finale since it aired almost a decade ago. Didn't notice Jonathan straining under the costume, but I believe you, lol! The show should have ended at Season 8 or 9. They would have had a bigger budget to do the finale some justice. Season 10 only has like 1-3 truly great episodes so it wouldn't be a huge loss.
I once tried watching supergirl, couldn't get through an entire season, this is far more enjoyable (mostly cause someone else is subjected to this atrocity but partly cause I was always wondering how much worse it could get) don't worry about giving episodes a 1 score though, if an episode gets so unbelievably bad you can always start using negative numbers to score it.
9:25 - *_Some security, that door does not appear to have a latch of any kind. How on earth did it close in the first place? It's almost like it's a prop or something... 0_o_*
Watching these reviews saves me from my feeling of obligation to watch supergirl just because it’s a dc show. This way is the faster option and as a bonus, I get to laugh at its stupidity.
The very idea of Supergirl is retarded. Not only is a woman flying around and fighting people with her fists impossible to buy into, but she's just copying Superman, which makes it painfully obvious that she's just there purely to pander to a female audience, not to be an actual character of her own.
Josh Donoho actually in the comics she isn’t so bad. She wasn’t so much of a feminist icon, but rather part of a comic book movement where the concept of opposite gender counterparts to popular superheroes were coming to light. It was just a cool idea comic book creators wanted to create. She has a bunch of great story arcs like the one she had in “infinite crisis” but my major problem is that the cw is fucking comic books right up the ass.
@@emeanmachine6652 So it was an across-the-board thing they were doing with all the characters? In that case, Powergirl made more sense as a name; less of an obvious Pander-Bear. And given that women typically don't solve problems with their fists, it would help if they gave her a different style for tackling problems so that she doesn't look like a copy-n-paste of Superman, maybe have her use her speed and strength to break the baddies' guns before they can cause trouble, thus disarming them in a manner only she can pull off. Point is that having her copy Superman's style actually makes her look like a psycho, when she has the potential to be awesome in her own feminine way.
Josh Donoho here’s the thing tho: do you feel this way about the comics? The show is definitely portraying super girl in a very questionable way, but in the comics, although she may have the same powers as superman, she has a very different personality and even her origin story is somewhat unique. I actually like her character in the comics, as it was portrayed as a different viewpoint to having the same powers as superman and she does use them differently if u think about it. However, the cw show basically scraps all that and portrays her in a very unlikable way. That’s why I fully agree with u when it comes to the show, but for the comics, I’d have to disagree because she definitely isn’t much used as a feminist icon or a “copy-and-paste” of superman. I think she serves as an interesting superhero in the comics and an engaging subplot to supermans character
The plan is to branch out into other shows soon. The script for the first non-Supergirl long form review is already written, but some other things may jump ahead in line before I get to it.
In the original Day The Earth Stood Still, the alien was actually the good guy, and the over enthusiastic military leaders were the bad guys. So if he learned to hate aliens after watching that movie, something ain’t right!
I'll admit despite feeling the need to add in more side drama no one asked for, legends of tomorrow has the power to embrace it's silliness yet also show serious levels and be coherent and consistent. the others have had their "rise back up moments" but honestly the flash just got soo lazy after season 2 ended and the main problem is they are all like that. they start out good and can become better even great but then devolve into like an autopilot mode. I never thought I'd bail on the flash, but now I just wanna see a big screen version with no constant iris or whining endlessly with barry basically being a trainwreck mess causing his own problems. @@crimsonjedi
I feel like the writers of Supergirl couldn't decide whether they wanted a campy, tongue-in-cheek series or a serious drama and thus decided to roll with both, and this giving us the worst of both worlds.
I wish they at least maintain some internal consistency! Like for example, in the pilot, Kara can't stop complaining about how dull and boring and not special her life is. Move forward a few episodes and she is complaining how she can't have a normal life! It would have been a great opportunity for her character to have a "be careful what you wish for" realisation and have her grow. But instead it's just the use of damn cliches ad infinitum
Concerned Citizen They could of did both the issue is the way they written it like we all know in season 2 lena and kara was giving us gay vibes if they writers would've played with that the this show will been fine yeah the show is falling apart but hey at lest the show have good romance between the main character and maybe in the upcoming season the villain now that will shake this show. If not my idea wayyy better than what we getting like come on james and Lena really the dreamer girl and whatever else's been happen because I totally went into a coma after they return ex boyfriend of Kara this show needs a whole reboot new cast but keep the woman who plays lena and the other woman who plays Alex.
If you dont like something, dont watch it. You dont see me making RUclips videos on how cucumbers and celery are disgusting - although if I did, and if I like doing it, and I'm very passionate about it, I could monetize it and create a decent career out of it like this youtuber does. The only problem is that doing so would breed hate. Those who also hate cucumbers and celery would discover that they're not alone in their beliefs and begin to completely ruin the experiences of those who actually do. Possible even driving the people who supply those vegetables to stop growing them.
oooh it gets progressively (heh.) downhill the longer it goes on to now in Season 4 right after we have a cliche "YER NOT A REAL WAHMEN!" with this transgender metahuman, we have this car scene where said tranny also goes "And she hates me and she started eating meat!" And Supergirl looks at her at the mere mention of eating meat as if she just took a shit on the carseat! I was beside myself laughing when I saw this clip!

Me too, since season 3 (don't ask me how I lasted that long lol). But omg every crossover, you can tell which is the Supergirl episode without looking at the title or TV guide because the Supergirl episode always needs to sample some of its leftist agendas on us.
And even then Supergirl injects it's toxic ideas somehow into the plot. Fucking hate that feminist propaganda show. Bad enough my English teacher is a feminist and makes us read that bullshit for homework.
The only way to make Supergirl watchable is to make it a real part of Arrowverse. Melissa (Supergirl) has great chemistry with Grant (Flash) and every crossover is much more fun than anything she does solo. But because she is on different Earth, she doesn't interact with them and none of her choices really matter, the whole alien immigration and acceptance into society plot is terrible and most of all, Supergirl is surrounded by the show's secondary characters who are the worst. So here's an idea: Just blow her entire Earth up, kill off everyone except Supergirl who barely makes it to Earth 1 where she can start over.
Michal Studynka Yeah i would watch that before I even watch flash lol when he first appear on SG i wanted them to get together they do work well with each other.
Just a hint of things to come. In season 4, there is a character named Nia Nal. First - She is a woman (so you know, just the best), Second - She is an alien (because it's not enough to be woman to show how hard her life is), Third - She is trans-gender (let's put all the eggs into one basket). I prey she (is it ok to say "she" or should I use some made up gender neutral word) becomes the main character by the end of this season. Melissa, leave while you can... maybe join The Flash team or go to Broadway or something like that. It would finally give me reason not to care and to stop watching this show which would be renamed to Totally-Awesome-Cool-Alien-Trans-Woman. Fighting the scurge of White Men and logical thinking every week.
I agree with most of your criticisms, but I thought Kara threatening Astra with torture, (threatening, not actually doing it) was very smart. We all know Kara would never torture someone, so the next best thing she could do is scare Astra into thinking she would. It obviously didn’t work, but it could’ve.
I don’t think it’s the torturing threat that bothers him. It’s the hypocrisy fifteen minutes later when she tries to stop soldier dude from torturing her even though she threatened to torture her and bring in Clark to help.
Even so, they could have easily explained that by just having Lane comment on Kara's reaction to the torture and have her respond that she didn't actually mean the threat.
I've been a DC comics fan since I was a child but Supergirl lost me when the writers decided to turn the heroine into an SJW for political correctness, lesbianism and women's rights! Yes, I actually stayed with it for that long! But alas, I'm finally done with it! The show is so bad not even Superman could stick around for very long!
been reading dc comics for a long time and supergirl has honestly always been one of my least favorite heroes and honestly the second i heard she was getting a show i knew it would be a dumpster fire. i was wrong it was more of a garbage dump inferno.
Supergirl can’t really stand on her own. She was originally only meant to be a supporting character for Superman stories. You can’t think of Supergirl without thinking about Superman. She simply can’t exist without Superman. Add that to the fact that Melissa is not a lead actress material.

I don't like superman but watching these videos just reminds me of superman going "I was at full strength and you beat me" and it's just so horrifically bad.
wait that happened? that.... doesnt even make sense..... how did they explain that? did they explain that? cause as far as i am aware, the only point where supergirl is superior to superman is her absorption rate of the suns energy which only really translates to her being able to last longer without direct sunlight to keep her powers (i do know she beat superman atleast once in the comics, but only when she was trying to literally murder him and he was holding back to not seriously injure her and calm her the feck down)
They really should've gotten an actual strong person to play her, just like they do with Superman, he has never been "just a regular dude" based on appearance, he has, even if he is a pacifist, been a strong man. Looking back on the show now through your videos, man, do I feel like I wasted my time. Anyways, great video and I'm glad to have someone who not only watches the show, but dives into the lack there of details in it and reviewing it PROPERLY, unlike the reviews the show are actually getting. Long story short, great video, and I'm looking forward to the next.
Ya know Thorias, I have a love hate feeling for these videos. On the one hand, I find them fucking hilarious and your dry, deadpan delivery of jokes is great. On the other, I feel like shit because you have to suffer in my place and actually manage to make this series enjoyable ... indirectly that is.
Why Teen Titans Go! is far superior. The drama. The angst. The heart. The fart jokes... Yes, it's silly, but the episodes actually make sense, written by people who understand the superhero genre.
aqdrobert. Maybe the network should call cartoon network ask them can they borrow their writers few a months or so cause this is not making any type sense is just to show us people don't care about their jobs its sad.
How many of these do you plan to do? Because I love these reviews. I remembered this season being better than this [probably because the next three are so much worse they made it look good by comparison] so seeing it get torn apart so analytically and objectively like this is really refreshing. Keep up the great work.
@@carbonclaw7280 But even if their strength level isn't the same, martians are shapeshifters, telepaths, telekinetics and can make themselves intangible. It seems to me as if they powered him down for the sake of the plot and possible to make supergirl come across as more important, which is never a good sign.
not to defend the show, but martians are weak to fire and a good hit with heat vision is basically a instant kill, so he is basically held hostage by one of the only beings that could kill him fast enough for escape to be nearly impossible.
They need to do a Breaking Bad "Fly" episode but with Astra, playing all roles acting out internal psychological conflict. But monotone and without emotion. Epic.
I love your reviews. They remind me of SFDebris's Voyager reviews. I'm pretty surprised how similar the shows are. Both are "progressive" with "Strong Female Leads" that had potential but ended up just being flawless, unstoppable Mary Sues. So disappointing. Edit: and both shows are wildly inconsistent from episode to episode and season to season!
Eh, Janeway is certainly not the only captain that had that issue. I'd argue that all the Star Trek captains are flawless and unstoppable to a degree. After all, one of SFDebris' common points is that early Trek had a big hard-on for talking about how amazing and great humanity was. He's also not stupid enough to make the connection between bad writing and SJWs and progressive policies. It's less a Mary Sue issue and more of an issue of the writing not being up to par to make up for the fact that the captains always have to find a way around the dilemma of the week. Although even Voyager got better as it went on, like every other Trek show with a rocky start, especially TNG.
I can't wait until you get to two episodes, "For the Girl that Has Everything" and "The Flash". The first one is a travesty made that much worse by the fact that it had the potential to redeem the entire show, and that storyline is a bullet that only leaves the gun once. One shot and they CHOKED. The second ep is really just a lot of fun, because Barry Alan and made CW realize that the big crossovers could make them enough money to be worth doing.
Oh, for the man who has everything? Sorry, still don't get what you think Supergirl should have done with it. If you meant give her a family, Superman didn't really have any direct emotional connection to anyone on Krypton, a son makes much more sense because you don't have to know your kids directly to have a connection with them. Just some people he knew from holograms wouldn't have been a strong connection for him. But just your kids being your kids make you protective of them and something you don't want to give up. Kara actually knew people there so just getting them back made them people she didn't want to give up.
@@josephblow3479 no of course you don't give Kara a kid and a husband and a space-wheat farm, that Clark's ideal life. But you don't spend five minutes on Kara forgetting about Earth, which was obviously done to burn up five minutes of run time cheaply. Kara is also historically much more hot headed than Clark, so her anger level should have been turned up to 11, instead they turned it up to about 7. Maybe 6.5. She should have been absolutely terrifying to witness, a reminder that while she may look human she has the physical capability of exterminating the entire human race with her bare hands. Even her sister should have taken a step back not, sure if it was safe to be around her. Like tearing off your own arm. That's how Mongol described escaping the Black Mercy. Kara was just kinda mad. She'll get over it. So every single thing about the ep was mediocre, and you simply cannot redo that storyline.
@@lowellhouser7731 Yeah, they screwed the pooch with that storyline. Then they forget their own continuity when Kara actually gets to go back to Argo City for real. She meets her Mom, who's not dead after all, and is like "Meh, so what?" and spends the entire episode chasing after and fawning over Mon-El now that she's got him light years away from Imra. The most wasted episode even more than the Black Mercy storyline. Not only was the episode completely unbelievable, but it made Kara the most Super (self-centered) Girl in all the Universe.
His voice got slighter higher in pitch... O.o *shrug* Seriously, either a large group of viewers has malfunctioning ears or my ears are malfunctioning. What the hell is going on?
There's a running theme whenever a character can super speed. The hero gets knocked on his butt, and you ask, "why didn't he just super speed?" Captain Cold shoots Flash during super speed, and you wonder, "since when does wielding a gun give you super reaction time and arm speed?" The same goes for Supergirl, but it's understandable in a 22 episode season. The writers compensate by being bad at most everything else. I would be more entertained by a Gilmore Girls show with Benoist and Leigh as leads. Those two make some great moments. Maggie was a complete token though.

Also, there is an actual kryptonian army invading earth and fighting a government organisation. Do you really think superman would stay out of that just because his cousin - who is obviously not able to handle the situation herself - tells him to? And Martian Manhunter seems to have his powers only when it serves the plot. Because he uses them to get Kara's job back which forces him to reveal himself to Kara moving that bit of plot along, but he doesn't use his powers to escape from the kryptonians because - well, because that would have stopped the plot of this episode to continue.

Just want to point out that Henshaw is Martian Manhunter. Meaning he’s almost as powerful as a Kryptonian AND can phase through things. Why did he allow himself to be captured?
Hold on, I'm extremely confused. I stopped watching the show after it started focusing every episode on Alex coming out of the closet more than what the show is actually about. Is this even NEW? I swear, this sounds like a completely recycled story. Are you reviewing an old season? Or are they REALLY this unoriginal?
This is Season 1. Also... "focusing every episode on Alex coming out of the closet" Yeah, that never happened. The episodic storylines and overarching narrative always took precedence over it. The repeated mentions of it were due to the fact that the show was being consistent for once with a character's storyline, which led to... what? 3-4 minutes per episode on average? Give me a break. What actually happened is that you bitched out because any presence of the gay sends you running. Seriously, it's okay, you can admit it. You're among like-minded ilk in this comment section. This show sucks for plenty of legitimate reasons that it doesn't need you making shit up. What's ironic is that Alex being gay became less and less important even in that same season once that initial rush was over and done with, and these days, it's not even a factor anymore. Not that you'd know, of course, having bitched out like you did.
@@frieza65 That was partly a joke.. How you didn't realize that is beyond me. But what makes even less sense is the conclusions you're jumping to. I don't watch these shows to learn about a person's sexuality or have any political agenda shoved down my throat. I felt like I was getting 90% politics and 5% actual superhero stuff. The other 5% being just bad writing and pointless romance that goes nowhere. My problem wasn't just with Alex, it was with almost every romantic relationship in the series. Most of them go nowhere, or just end badly. The only relationship I had even a fraction of care for was Kara and Mon El. And even that was lacking. The only reason I had any care for it was because they both had powers. I watch superhero shows for superheroes. It's that simple.

I feel like they should have experimented with SuperGirl. I would have given her different abilities to Superman. Maybe they should have recreated Supergirl to be more stealth orientated, like temporary invisibility, teleportation and mental manipulation. I feel like that would have made the villains and the fights more interesting if Supergirl is actually using her abilities to outwit and outsmart her villains. Oh well.

The funny thing of the episode is the mom admits that she has stronger ability's than her biological daughter.

I feel the only reason this show hasn't been cancelled yet is because it's part of the Arrowverse.
the arrowverse better drop this shit show before it takes the rest of the arrowverse with it. and for that matter they should drop legends of tomorrow and black lightening. the only shows they have not completely ruined are flash and arrow and they are the first 2 in the arrowverse, the rest are just extra now, all they are doing is taking away from arrow and the flash's budget, and dragging down the quality of the arrowverse as a whole.

I can’t wait to see how you react when you get to the episodes where Kara straight up says that she’s better than humans because she has powers, or when the writers start offering up their views on other political topics outside of feminism (such as racism, homosexuality, immigration, gun control, etc). I'd prefer to see a Superman show with Tyler Hoechlin. It doesn't matter if Smallville was on the air for years, it lasted long because people watched it.
Lois & Clark was a great show too. Rewatching it now.
Dude, I loved the intro to that show. But I hated the ending, I mean they messed up darkseid. Which could've been a big oppurtunity for them.
+James Tomato
Smallville Season 10 was more interested in Lois Lane and getting her married than Clark becoming Superman and fighting off Darkseid. That and they just didn't have the budget for it.
@@@valentinward3657
I'd have to agree, they dropped the ball with Season 10.
Wait, they have guns again? Weren't they gonna use magic non-lethal non-weapons to non-kill the criminals?
This is Season 1. That hadn't happened yet.

Josh Donoho GTH
@@emeanmachine6652
So it was an across-the-board thing they were doing with all the characters?
Loving these Supergirl reviews. You should do ones on the other shows.

Just a hint of things to come. In season 4, there is a character named Nia Nal. I agree with most of your criticisms, but I thought Kara threatening Astra with torture, (threatening, not actually doing it) was very smart. We all know Kara would never torture someone, so the next best thing she could do is scare Astra into thinking she would. It obviously didn’t work, but it could’ve.
It reminds me of that quote from Tobias Church - “fear of pain makes people crack faster than the pain itself.” Or something like that
I don’t think it’s the torturing threat that bothers him.

Supergirl can’t really stand on her own. She was originally only meant to be a supporting character for Superman stories. You can’t think of Supergirl without thinking about Superman. She simply can’t exist without Superman. Add that to the fact that Melissa is not a lead actress material.

I'd be interested to hear how you think it had the potential to redeem the show.
@@josephblow3479 have you ever watched the JLU episode centered around Clark? Go watch that and you'll understand.
@@lowellhouser7731
Yeah, they screwed the pooch with that storyline.
6:37 you turned into kermit
His voice got slighter higher in pitch... O.o *shrug*
Seriously, either a large group of viewers has malfunctioning ears or my ears are malfunctioning.
S01- watched the series the usual way to catch up with arrowverse
S02- every episode was played 1.5x fastforward
S03- crossover will only be downloaded
This series is tiring to watch.
Alex is the main character prove me wrong
Lol “Feminism” is the actual main character
Not with those teeth she's not. Once you notice them, you can't unnotice them.
Ur laugh should be bottled and sold to evil villains. It is truely terrifying
You sound like a cross between Kent hovind and Kermit the frog
Still love the content. Liked
I can't unhear it now. He does sound like Kermit. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
A felon and a puppet. Nice
Dammit lol
Why is there so many songs about rainbows? 🌈
Actual video title: Super girl got super bad.
MYSTERIOUS STRANGER wrong - it’s a great series
I dont watch super girl now these videos are genuinely more entertaining XD (not saying that its difficult haha)
Supergirl: Highly trained idiots, none can beat their stupidity.
Supergirl: The only thing they can do good is diss Superman. The only really good Episodes are in the Crossovers or those with Superman. Because he is actually funny and others are too.
Caras Mom tried to be compassionate with a catastrophe, it blew up in her face.
I think the existence of this show is unconstitutional. The 8th amendment forbids cruel and unusual punishment.
"At the rate this show is going, there is worse yet to come"
I think that is going to be an understatement. You are probably going to need negative, imaginary, real, complex, and every available set of numbers available to express your distaste via your scores.
Lol I quit watching this show back in season two.
All the women and African Americans were probably too much for you to handle, eh?
@@austinforbes7846 no. The writing went pure garbage in season 2
It's that simple.
what season is this?
I love when you talk about this garbage show
I used voice search to find your channel on another account, and it thought I was saying Psoriasis Unlimited. I agree with your video also.
Finding these super girl reviews great You should do a black lighting or Luke cage season 2 review but these two are just so much worse than super girl
What are u on?
what episode was this?
Bush did 9/11
Does anyone just watch Supergirl because it's part of the arrow verse
You haven’t even reach season 2 yet and you destroying it lmao. Can’t wait till you meet mon el 😂😂😂
Your reviews are hilarious. XD I’m even looking forward to you tearing apart the episode I actually liked best, which is Winn’s. Thing with him is, he’s not a secret agent or a superhero, so him acting panicked or dumb makes a lot more sense than all the other idiocy in this show. It also helps a lot that Kara isn’t the center of attention for once. Lol
Awww, you're still on season 1.
Hoo boy, it's a ride from here on.
Cat Grant is the best part of that show. Especially when Barry showed up she was straight roasting everybody stand in her office😂😂😂😂👌🎩👏👏👏👏
Oh well.
I haven't seen a second of this show, but thanks to youtube's sugestions I came across this video. For once I can say this. Thank you youtube. You did good.
Love this series so much
I am in awe at the public service you (and others, like Doomcock DVD) perform, in warning us about the poop blizzards these SJW shows can generate. It preserves what few brain cells I have left. Thanks!
Wait until you get to the current season you will be begging for the sweet touch of death's merciful hand.
Omfg the revving engine noise on that nyquil race!!
so, you 're taking the bullet for us? thaks m8, must be painfully.
This is why I subscribed to your channel
This was season one and you're just posting this video now? This was years ago. Did you repost this video?
QUESTION: in the scene where Supergirl is trying to stop the injection, how is she being held back? I mean if she is like Superman's powers, Supergirl should be able to flick off anyone trying to hold her back and move so fast, that no one could stop her. Am I missing something? I also don't watch the show but LOVE your commentary.
S Singh it’s Kryptonite in the containers.
@@clanrocks137 Ahhh I see, then wouldn't the containers effect Supergirl as well. Everytime we see Superman anywhere near kryptonite (even in small amounts), he has the reaction of me when I look at my Tax Bill.
S Singh she is affected and is making her weaker that is why Alex is carrying her out for her safety.
@@clanrocks137 God I hate this show.
S Singh awe too bad for you troll. Many enjoy it- you don’t then that’s your problem.
These episodes are amazing compared to the most recent ones.. If you don't like it now.. just give up while you're ahead..
To be honest you sound like Jordan Peterson which is meant as a compliment no harm meant..and another awesome video
You deserve to be taken seriously, because you are a high-functioning genius. Unfortunately, your voice reminds me of Kermit the Frog, which I feel bad for thinking.
An absolute shame. Laura Benanti, the actress playing Astra/Kara's mother in this season, is a talented actress. She was in the Broadway version of The Wedding Singer and she was great in it. The show just clearly doesn't give good writing or direction
Nick Corvello get lost
I can't stop smiling to your rant.
I like your take on the show Supergirl. Please continue to make more episode reviews of this show.
This is hilarious man.
Year 2020, Supergirl is cancelled. A writer begins to write up his resume to search for a new job in Hollywood. After a couple of hours writing his resume, prints a copy, sees his last 4 yrs of professional work and the epiphany hits him....
2016-2018 Associate Writer on Supergirl
2017-2019 Senior Writer on Supergirl
“Oh crap! Guess I better brush up on my Barista skills!
Sean You Know Who GTH
This feels like me writing a story, I can never keep characters personalities constant(because I suck) and it’s just laughable, like come on, supergirl is a great character, but the writers are just as bad as I am.
