Humanity faces critical challenges for which national responses are too narrow. New levels of cooperation are required for success. Every person is impacted by issues relating to the climate, biodiversity, nuclear weapons, the health of the oceans, equitable sustainable development, wildlife trafficking and pandemics, for example. In addressing these global issues many questions are presented, for example: How do we live in harmony with the natural world? How do we factor in questions of borders and sovereignty when trying to formulate a coherent, unified global response to address global threats? How do we address real geo-political adversity? Join world-renowned conservationist Dr. Jane Goodall and global security expert Jonathan Granoff in a candid conversation about the role of individuals and states in obtaining Human Security.

Dr. Jane Goodall DBE
Dr. Jane Goodall - ethologist and conservationist - is one of the world's most influential scientists and inspiring humanitarians, known for her groundbreaking research into wild chimpanzees in Gombe, Tanzania. She founded the Jane Goodall Institute in 1977. Roots & Shoots, JGI’s humanitarian and environmental programme empowers young people of all ages to become involved in hands-on projects to benefit the community, animals and the environment is active in more than 60 countries. Dr. Goodall is a United Nations Messenger of Peace, author of many books including the recently published Book of Hope and is recipient of numerous awards for her tireless work for animal welfare, sustainable development, and conservation. She serves on the Board of Advisors of the Global Security Institute.

Jonathan Granoff
Jonathan Granoff is President of the Global Security Institute and Representative to the United Nations of the World Summits of Nobel Peace Laureates. He serves as Senior Advisor to the Committee on National Security of the International Law Section of the American Bar Association, from which he received its 2020 Lifetime Achievement Award. He is a Trustee of the World Academy of Arts and Science and is well known as a public advocate for peace, security, and the abolition of nuclear weapons. He serves on the Board of Advisors of the Jane Goodall Institute.

Things will get better , as long as we nurture the good in us, and be selfless in our approach to others and our envirament, there are places on earth where we can see improvement, some are greedy in it for money for there own selfish needs, i cry when i see the beauty of what the world was , and can still be again, we share this planet with the animals and nature , we are better than this, theres still time. But we have to start and keep up , to turn this around. For our own sakes. There are more good people in the world we have to be united in love and kindness with care for everything , we cant be complacent. Okay I'm listening to this person speak. Paused at 6:45 seconds... this person asked the question how did we get here to this place of such a horrible state, basicly.... the only answer I see, is this has been caused by the democratic institutions of the world as we know it... the democratic institutions are only socialist communist , collective, and dead set on equal outcome... which by all means kept humanity in the dark ages as long as we have stood on the planet. Only recently the world has grown to an excellent point by the equal oppeerunity, free market, and ideas of the individual sovereign strength of one in a combined manner of free people that see a better solution than equal outcome.. there is only one example of equal outcome that I have ever seen in the world. Please feel free to ride by a grave yard and look on it and VIEW THE EQUAL OUTCOME. Please... I'll wait... take a ride and see one...
The only reason we face such a struggle at all is because the left hate the right . The right has produced nothing but a fiar hand and an investment for the hope of the world... the left has only done its part to insure that we do not see prove them wrong, which we have, the more the reason for their hate and their distain and spiteful nature towards the Conservative Republic. In no way at all do they want to see the conservative republic succeed or be successful... which has cause an ungodly amount of implanted corruption by the left to destroy the good that has been shown and proven... which by the way, the left has never shown at all, but only death and take. There is no give, or give a dam, in their path for humanity....
“Democratic institutions are communist” wake up Ronald. The world has changed. Communism doesn’t exist and likely won’t ever again. Russia isn’t communist. China isn’t. Democrats are even less. Saying otherwise just proves how little you know about Marx and communism theory.

We need nature to heal and for our wellbeing, without it we would be lost , everything on this planet was here to sustain us , i hope we havent depleted the plants that could heal all illnesses . Why cant we live in peace, why do we have this butal mindset , this is not the way, the pendemic happened because someone went down the wrong path . Unwisely, maybe because of judgement of each other. The ones in power should not be there, they should be replaced by people that generally care for humanity, with love jdx 🙏🙏🦶💕
The world is unbalanced, but it will be rebalanced, we have to introduce the spirit level, with education , for if the world goes so do we, we have to let it recover.

First of all... these people are only renowned by the institution's. I wonder if we take a world vote by the people and from the people as see if the people feel the same way you few do, that seem to want to dictate policy as "you see fit " based on what challenges you decide! None of which challenges I feel, the world does not see the same way you few do... I say this because the challenges we the people of the world face are actually you few that try to dictate to the world... you are the challenge we face and that is a Har challenge because your few are the protected ones of privilege... that does not require that you care about we the people at all. And in no way do I feel like , the things you have just mentioned in the first 1:30, WI in any way change the world at all except to enslave humanity by tyrannical means... each of of things you have said "require" an authoritarian point of view....
"I" , as an individual do, with humility and humbleness, do implore that you few take a world wide vote, instead of selective poll based studies from only those of the left that do already agree with the terms of more dependency on government and more government action... which requires more of an authoritarian view and out reach.
I'm only asking because, I, as an individual, would like better options and second opinions than yours alone chosen by you and the select panel that you chose because they already agree... let's hear from those that do not agree and see if more conversation can be had. Because you and this kind of policy implementation, will only do what moe, stalin, and hitler did.... which is kill millions... maybe that is your goal at this present time in order to reach the goals you intend......

Pause @36:22.... okay I'm liking the way this conversation is starting to go more and more... listen... Dr. Jordan oeterson said one thing that is clear... and I agree with him. The democratic institutions are not at all for our best interests. One thing we face as a problem is 10%.... the democrats seem to think they can reconcile the situation through diversity, inclusion, and equity. Which is wrong and very bad.... big time...
The 10% I speak of... we have at least 50% of the populations of the world that can meet a standard of work by some ethic or discipline... okay... we have at least 40% that are either trying to establish, or find their place with their interest that is in development. And then we have 10% , which either have nothing or do not have any idea... and i laughed and I cried when jordan peterson said, "what do we do about that? Do we drag them along making provision for them and trying to place them among us?" He continued by saying, "No, we dont!, and we should not even try." He said the best thing we can do is continue to cooperate with the 50% and the 40%, and run like hell from the 10%... he did not mean that as to be rude or mean as to avoid them... nope... not at all... what I feel like he meant 😕... is we should always acknowledge that they are in fact their, but as a struggling people that intend good measures or hope, we should look past them and continue doing what we should be doing and yes to some extent drag them along with us so that eventually they will "1 by 1" begin to find their place also and want to part of it... and these are found at the extremes of the distribution of societies edges ... the overlap is far greater than the extremes... so our kindness of the overlapping in variations should not only make room for the extremes, but we should at all cost, avoid their extreme take on society because that is where where chaos is made manifest... it's not a hope that they will conform to society principles of understanding, but in fact it a reliability that we have found in them also that something will come from them also that is needed. At some point. Just like all the rest. But their time is just as they are, at an extreme ratio of time.
God knew what he was doing as his hands were in it and always will be, but we step on God's toes far too often calling him out or calling him wrong... and yes I consider God to be TRUTH... AND THE TRUTH IS NKT DICTATED BY US. BUT IS THE DICTATOR OF A THING. SO ALL ASPECTS OF SOCIETY ARE NEEDED.... some men are killed at the hand of God for purpose of prolonging , and some men are left to tread the roots of mankind at the mercy of God be longsuffereing.. and like it or not, that is good and evil men.... the Bible says the deciever , and the decieved do both belong to him. He giveth and he taketh away... that is the duty of the TRUTH, towards us. Psalms 23: For the Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want. ... none have ever wanted the TRUTH in their life, but he is there, like it or not.
The further you read the comment, the further you descend into idiocy. You first start to lay out the truth in the lack of responsibility in some institutions.
Then you proceed to say inclusion and diversity is madness… okay, Hitler.
And you finish by citing some Bible verses to polish the knucklehead image you depicted yourself as.
