Well... I was looking for a tutorial of a helmet because I need to make one for a cosplay. And I saw this and I was like "A tutorial of a couple of minutes, just what I need!" And every step had logic to me (The pattern to make a cap is with those triangles too) and I was like: YEP! and I started measuring my head and then cutting and everything (obviously there cannot be something like measures cuz it depends of the person) BUT when I looked at the comments saying that this is fake and doesn't work I was like: dude, what are you sayin'?!! Well, I just wanted to say THANK YOU. My helmet turned out AMAZING 😍🫶🏻🩷 And to anyone who is looking: Just follow every step, AND TAKE YOUR OWN MEASURES! Thank you again! I loved yout tutorial!!
As a previous post commented a template wont help because he size would be specific to each user. However, if you watch closely you need 8 triangles not 6. So the base of each triangle would be 1/8 the circumference of your head. As for face/nose guard it is so si.ple that you could come up with your own design to fit. Check out some reference books for different ideas.
Been thinking, the base of each triangle will be 1/6th of the circumference of your head, Then measure from the base line to the crown of your head for the height at the middle of the triangle, and draw a curved line from the top to each bottom side if you get my drift! Give it a go and see how it turns out!!!
