I love how this version completely swapped the dynamic of Goku's Kamehameha on Gohan. Since in the actual show, it was Gohan who pressured Goku to go all out. Insisting that he'll never be pushed hard enough to go Super Saiyan of Goku kept holding back during their training.
I always get chills at that Final Flash moment, like damn, TFS may be making a parody but when they want a moment to hit, they make sure it HITS! Even go to the point of commissioning music for it too! I'm an original japanese dub elitist and yet I'm pretty sure it's actually my favourite version of that moment!
Toriyama stated that Vegeta's Final Flash was the strongest singular blast in DBZ, which would actually have killed Cell. The only reason why Cell survived was because he had to move.
Perfect Cell pushed the Goku Button, and got away with it. Still, Vegeta got in a few good lines. "In mere moments! All you'll be feeling! IS OBLIVION!" Lanipator was in great form for that one.
@@williamrosmer8381 Toriyama said if Cell didn't dodge last second it would've been over, the Final Flash is THAT powerful, it allows Vegeta to hit way above his weight class, which is honestly so cool but only if the opponent lets him charge.
Funnily, I find Abridged much better written and *less* cringe than the original, despite having a lot of nostalgia and attachment for it. Not only is it better paced, it also has more character development AND more consistent characterization, the jokes get better and better and many of the moments actually manage to hit a lot more than the original. And the reason behind that is very simple and is not insulting towards the original: it's just that the creators not only had the luxury of knowing where they were going, they ALSO love the original a whole lot and you can feel it. It's a project of love. So rather than insulting something that was literally the only reason many people stayed hype for dragon ball content during the years and years during which there was nothing new, rather than insulting something that actually created jobs for many people and revealed so many talents to the world, that inspired so many other creators, that even most of the official dub actors respect a lot to the point that some have cameos in the abridged series and some of the abridged voice actors were in the Xenoverse games, maybe you should try to figure out why so many people enjoy it and why you can only use vague, superficial subjective arguments that have no meaning like "cringe" or "awful". I love the og. But Abridged made me cry, both of laughter and of genuine emotion. The og never did.

They made a parody out of love for a series that is near and dear to them that has entertained millions across the globe and helped introduce DBZ to a new generation. What have YOU done?
Let it be known that here Gohan decided it was easier to fulfill and ancient alien prophecy rather than dodge
You are completely right, and i don't know how to feel about that
Ancient alien prophecy?

“And wait for Goku.” Damn! _My_ back hurts after that

This is true, I usually bring this up so glad to see someone else first.
Makes sense I guess, given the fact that vegeta spent most of the episode charging up all that energy..
And the "Oh shit!" line actually does come from the German dub
Final Flash has never killed anyone

I love Vegeta's reaction as he realizes how Cell is about to finish that statement.
Turns out the Goku button is located between Vegeta’s C5 and C6 vertebrae. 😂
Vegeta was gonna erase cell if he did not move
That move was gonna finish cell if it landed
One of the only things I looked forwars too every weak
"Either that or disappointment."
Go ahead, flip that coin...
If Cell actually challenged the attack, he would've been vaporised
pretty sure it's been officially said the final flash had more power in it than the father/son kamehameha

@chazo1367 that's pretty much what I said
You guys should check out the original version, its pretty amazing as well.
to be fair, freeza talked cash shit to vegeta too lol
Fact that this is literally bsically what happened in the show vegeta lets him eat 18
You can pause if you’re going to have a long conversation the supporters would like it
Trunks isnt stronger than his father in his new form, it was a defective form that his father, goku and cell knew wasnt a good form for fighting.
Trunks inexperience thought he was stronger when in reality he was a fool
In lame man's terms~
why just spoil things that havent happened yet?
If only him and his father actually communicated with each other for that year in the time chamber...
That literally gets explained next episode
Piccolo giving gohan waves? You don't say 🤔
What are your names?? It's weird having to comment stuff like, "the one on the right/left"
good reaction
Hey ladies can you react to gohan vs bojack
Only sore haters hates vegeta. Also nerdes
Are ya’ll Ethiopian?
Abridged is so cringe and awful, I hope y'all have already watched the actual series at least
So true Idk how this got popular the og has way more heart.
