Looks a lovely place and great video editing 👍👍 What camera did you use for 360 panoramic shots... Do you know if you are allowed to fly a drone? Many thanks..subbed👍
Thank you for your kind words. Absolutely enjoyed making the video. I used the Insta360 One X2 as my 360 camera. It's an amazing camera and you can do a lot of things with it. Many of the edits can be done within the camera app itself. At Coco Body Hithi, we did ask if drones are allowed, but they said no. Maybe one has to take special permission. Other Maldives resorts do allow drones. So you can check with the resort and ask for permission.
Hi, Wonderful video , we are going to coco next week, may I know how much it’s costed for sand bank excursion and sunset cruise, since those two are not included in package
Sunset cruise was included in our package. On their website it says Group: Da i ly, 06.30 pm to 07.30 pm US$ 58 per person / Mi n i mu m 6 pa x required
Hi Ronan, nice vlog! Can the island villa & escape water villa accommodate a family of 2 adults and 2 kids (a teen & pre-teen). Getting mixed messages from different sources. Is the bed king size or double? And will they provide extra bed and what size will it be?
Hi, the bed is king size and can easily fit two adults and a pre teen. When we requested, They did provide us with an extra bed in the island villa where me and my 7 year old squeezed in, so it's big enough for an adult. It is more like a single bed. In the escape water villa, the room where the tv is kept they already have a single bed so again me and my son slept there.
They have many different packages. I have added the link below where you can view the rates under Photography Package cococollection.com/en/coco/downloads
Hey have booked this resort for next week. Have few questions pls help me out: 1. Snorkeling equipments are provided free? - how can we get it? 2. Scuba diving price and we're not swimmers. Is it recommended to proceed. 3. Restuarant hygiene and food quality. 4. Micro questions - Do we get sufficient tea/coffee suppliments. And do we have Iron box and hair dryer? 4. What about movement within resort. Do we have cycles? Thanks in advance :)
Hi Mahid, Here are our responses : 1. Snorkeling gear and life jackets are provided for free. To obtain, just share your room number at the water sports centre and return it on the day of departure. 2. Scuba diving is usually recommended for swimmers. We didn't try it as one of us didn't know how to swim plus you have to plan it well (not advisable to do it the day before departure) . Check this link for their current prices cococollection.com/en/coco/downloads 3. Food quality - excellent. Hygiene - good( it's all in the open , so can't avoid flies during lunch ) 4. Sufficient tea and coffee supplements are available. Don't miss the coffee pods. They were delicious. Hair dryer and iron box were available. 5. No cycles. Big disappointment. I was looking forward to those. But there is a highly efficient buggy service(Look out for a guy named Taj, such a gem of a person. Ask him to show you around the resort ) You can easily walk around the resort , we used the buggy as the kids loved it.
There is a doctor in the resort who takes the RT PCR test. But the test was included in our package so we were not charged for it. I have read that usually resorts charge 50 to 100 US dollars for the test per person. If the test is included in the package then it will save you a lot of money.
Beautiful video amazing editing that you did was so good thanks for sharing your family trip with us. As an North Indian I am bit curious about Indian dish served during breakfast and luch so how was your experience love to hear from you.
Hi Rohit, Thanks for your comments. All meals had some inclusion of Indian taste buds. The chef's we met were from Sri Lanka and Bangladesh so you can expect dishes which would suits your palette. During breakfast and dinner they had a separate section specially serving Indian dishes. Breakfast spread overall is vast , mostly continental. There was indian breakfast like Poha, Upma, Idli, Poori bhaji, roti and bhaji. Lunch spread was limited but you will definately see 1-2 curries and rice items. Dinner overall was extravagant and though we are non vegetarians we did explore one separate veg section with typical indian dishes like Dal, mattar paneer, fresh rotis , jeera rice etc were served. We thoroughly enjoyed the food there and my suggestion would be .. don't limit yourself to Indian cuisine, this is a good opportunity to explore world cuisines. Hope this helps. Have a great trip 👍
Wowww.... It's so beautiful. I was planning to visit maldives for my honeymoon but could not decide the resort. After watching this video I think it will be a good choice to choose this one. How was the corals there and what is the depth of the water near water villa? Coz corals are main attraction so just wanted to make sure and also m nt a swimmer.
Thank you for your comments. There are few corals near the water villas. Since the one we stayed in was the last water villa (Escape Water Villa), the water was deep and the current was strong. Since even I am not a swimmer, I just held the ladder and snorkelled right there. I am 5 foot 10 inch tall and my feet couldn't touch the bottom near the water villa. However if you get a water villa closer to shore , the water will be less deep. The resort also has a house reef where there are a lot of beautiful corals. They take you there for scuba. If you are interested in scuba, please book with the resort the day you arrive and also remember that they don't recommend flying within 24 hours of having done scuba, so plan it accordingly.
@@santoshkumar-fj8op hi, i have been checking the rates in different Maldives resorts and nowadays I see that it has increased a lot in almost all resorts. Coco Bodu Hithi rates are almost 80000 per day for all inclusive option. I think the rates should reduce in June July August when it is off season in Maldives due to rains

All inclusive is always better. It includes lot of activities(floating breakfast, sunset cruise , etc) depending on the offer. Also less hassle of tracking and making payments. Meals are quite expensive in Maldives as they have to transport everything from the main island.
