Hi piyusha, did the resort guys test post arrival as well? Or did you guys just got 2 tests done in total- one while leaving from india and one before entering india? And were the rtpcr test charges were included in your package which you got done from the resort?
No for us they didn't test after reaching. Not sure of the current rules, you could check with your resort/ package company. And no, not included too, but I've heard some resorts have that, again you can check. Best is to get a quote from pick your trail (thru the link in description) and they'll find it all for you.
Hi, can you let us know what’s included in Full board - ? Can we use snorkeling? And water bottles ? We don’t drink alcohols.
Hey sorry missed this. So full board is all meals (no alcohol) from what I remember, please confirm with your operator. Though snorkeling is included for all packages (just the gear, you have to go on your own, there are snorkelling tours on extra cost for everyone), waterbottles 2 per day they'll give, rest during meals. We didn't need any more but rest you'll need to buy.

Personally I feel Andaman is better than Maldives when it comes to beaches and things to do but the water villas are pretty indeed. Is there anything that can be seen in maldives apart from the beaches?
Yes so Maldives is a luxury holiday (a super relaxing escape) and you’ll be in one island for the entire duration so just the beach and spas and chilling in the villa and good food, snorkelling and diving, kayaking are things to do. It isn’t an adventurous vacation but more of getting quality bonding time with your partner :)

Hey nice video !!! Can you tell me the total cost for two for this trip. I guess 1.7L was the pickyourtrail amount. What other charges were there Flight,Covid Test anything extra? What was the total cost in the end for a couple?

We paid 1.7 to PYT, 14k per person so total 28k for flights, 4 bottles of wine so 200$ or 16k there, 65$ per person was Coco Bodu's Covid test price, so ~10k for that. So total of 2.25 for everything together!
P.S. I don't know how I missed mentioning that in the video hehe :)

@@vjandpooja Hey so most resorts (maybe all of them) will have snorkelling gear free. We love that so we did it all 3 days. Scuba we didn't this time. But they had tours, I don't remember correctly but >100$ per person for sure.
Kayaking was also included here but time slot had to be booked beforehand, we were lazy and slot we got was for afternoon, sunset slots were the only bearable ones because of the heat.

When did you plan , was there a discount. ? If someone doesn't know swimming , is it worth to choose water villa ?
We went in April and yes the rates were maybe a bit lesser because of season end time but not a discount really. Ummm, in the pool you can stand so not deep. For everything snorkeling, you'll have life jackets, so I think you can have a great time still :)

Yes I had a great experience with them 2 years back. They were available and involved for customisations etc.

Please update us where did you get the RT-PCR test done..? Just don't want to be in trouble having report and still be in trouble in airport.. So..
RT PCR you can get done from anywhere, it just needs to be fresh (72 hours). And for safe side, tell them that the test is for travel so they'll mention your passport number on the results.

Was there any Rtpcr test on these occasions:
1. After landing in Maldives ?
2. After reaching Hotel ?
3. Coming back from Maldives to India (anywhere)
There was RTPCR negative needed while boarding flights both ways. So no, not after landing, reaching hotel. While coming back, we had to show -ve RTPCR while boarding the flight for India.

Hi.. while returning back from Maldives to india do we need to do covid test there only or can be done in india at airport also.
They asked us to show while boarding the flight only, so unless rules have changed now, they'll need you to do it there only.
Can we do an RT-PCR test when we arrive in India at Bangalore airport, or do we need to take the RT-PCR test at the resort only and have a negative report before boarding?
In our time (April 2021) we had to submit it while boarding, right now I'm not sure.
It's still the same. Rtpcr only at the resort.

Hi, we took Indigo flights both ways. Not sure about the other carriers or how Indigo is usually but in our case, it did not reschedule or cancel.

Hey I bought alliance insurance (link in description) . That covers quarantine costs too upto 150$ a day. That's in government facility but that is also usually some resort only.

Very nicely edited with detailed information. However, i would like to say its not the best deal you got. We booked 5N at Sun Siyam Iru Veli ( an all inclusive package) for 5 N ( 3 N beach villa with pool + 2N ocean villa with pool ) along with seaplane transfers at 2.5 Lakhs. I had also seen Pick your trail package for this property but i felt they were charging more as i had compared with other agents.
Hii! haha yes I agree, the best deal part can be subjective. Though for 5N this would have come out to be 2.3 (they said 30k extra for island villa). This keeps changing too we went in April when season was almost ending. But for me the dealbreaker was Honeymoon inclusions (without the need for a marriage certificate) which none of the other resorts agreed to. But subjective for sure :)

@@piyushatanwani oh that's great, even we got honeymoon inclusions and a floating breakfast along with free RT PCR at return. We travelled around June end and same for us, not asked for marriage certificate. I felt the most important thing for us was seaplane inclusion which could cost a bomb otherwise. There are sooo many properties to chose from , your video would help a lot to many.

Heyy! I would say it’s the safest place to go to in terms of social distancing 😅 but otherwise we took an insurance so even if we did need to stay back, it would be paid for. So yes, if anywhere, I would plan for here

I had paid everything in advance and yes it is totally safe. They also have option of paying 3-5% booking amount and then the rest later. You can ask for a quotation on their page and they should be able to help.

Actually we just checked out packages from some agencies like the link in my description from pick your trail. And chose the package that satisfied our needs (3N in water villa), had airport transfers included (because otherwise that's expensive), and had all meals, plus the honeymoon inclusions :)

Hey, thank youu!! :) In Maldives, every resort is on 1 or more islands. So our resort, Coco Bodu Hithi was a small island in itself.
To return back from maldives how to do PCR test? How much cost?
Yes that was done at the resort, we paid 65$ per person for it. Some resorts have it included in the package too.

Around an hour by speed boat, resort arranged for the speed boat but we waited for almost an hour at the airport for other passengers
