Lee I have been doing bird photography at the beach I set my camera on continuous AF. I have been using F11 multiple exposure and shooting in raw I have also been using the 55-300 PLM lens it makes all the difference in my pictures over my slower Tanron 75 -300 zoom. I am still playing around with focus points to see which works best as well as back button focus
Watching your video on Christmas morning. I really enjoyed the simple way you explained your thinking for setting up bird shots. The results speak for themelves. Nice work Lee, Merry Christmas from Panama 🇵🇦
One thing I've started doing is using spot metering to expose for the birds while using TaV in raw. . Everything else if need be can then be fixed up quickly in post. Oh, and I always change the Auto Exposure metering to link to the AF point in the "C" menu setting. That way it meters for what you've focused on more accurately.
I’m so excited for this set up! Comes this week! Thanks for the video

Thanks for walking through the setup. Appreciate it! Nice shots!
Really nice! I struggle with birds in flight, so this gave me some new ideas. And mostly just reminded me to go out and practice :)
Enjoy your tutorials, I'll pause it multiple times and try to set my K-70 the same way, thanks

Hi! Nice place! I use the same setup, but TAv instead for birds to be sure shutter speed is enough.
Hello, can you made a video test in Full HD at 60 fps with the Pentax K-70?
That lens is on my wishlist. I have been doing bird photography with a old tamron 70-300 got so frustrated I moved to manual focusing xD.
Where did you get that lens?
I'm not sure where Lee got his from but I bought mine on Amazon.
The Ricoh site. They didn't charge me sales tax.
@@leehaze1 Lucky you. We don't get that option in Canada 😔
