The extreme workload is what makes the 21 fund to fly in sim. Respect for the pilots that flew this beast for so many years.

Flying this plane feels like sitting in a shopping cart with an RPG on your shoulder, and an X-ray machine in your lap, with a rocket motor on the bottom rack.

Hey Cap! You've tuned the opposite course on the HSI, mixing up the needle ends. The fat rectangular end of the course needle shows the actual course you dial in. This is why the HSI wasn't helpful while intercepting the RSBN radial. The same error is in Chuck's MiG-21 guide, I suppose you were using it for reference

This plane regularly makes me feel that it's trying to kill me - impressive that people managed to fly it for real!

"mmm too many clouds for landing let's move to another country for landing"

Thanks once again for your precious footages, I’m now able to understand much better the RSBN & ILS !

you need to be established on the LOC before descending on the glidepath. Also... follow the director line, and only move left and right if the LOC is not centered, but only slightly.

It's almost like using VORs to fly a C152.

    Good tutorial
The Quality of your videos is really good
    Goofy at time but good
May I also point out for other people that you can use the SAU system to guide your self in Autopilot style.
Warning disconnect said Autopilot before the flare because it will glide you into the runway & without flaring

You can actually use the ADI in landing mode as well, the scales at the very top and very left mirror your HSI center indicators. ;)
It will however not show you the flags should you lose contact.

Do the Gulf or Nevada terrain modules also have PRMG frequencies/codes compatible with the Russian jets? Does the typed sheet of codes pinned to the right side of the cockpit change accordingly?

    • @christiannnnnnnnnn
      @christiannnnnnnnnn 5 лет назад +1

I don't know if the sheet changes, but you have the pmrg frequencies in your kneeboard for every map you're flying at

Why not use SAU flight director for PRMG?

Yeh we still need to learn this.

Very good tutorials, but it seems that the voice of staff is not very clear,it makes watching a little difficult to not native English speakers,I'll appreciate greatly if the microphone and voice are clear :))
