I really feel sorry towards them who drop watching Gintama just by watching few early episodes. They don't know what's waiting ahead in the venture of their journey. If only they could just be more patient. Personally I feel Gintama is better than the big 3 anime.

I think they should do a season about Gintoki's past, the same as what they did with Rurouni Kenshin Tsuiokuhen. Of course that probably won't be possible until the manga finishes and Sorachi does a considerable amount on it

They just keep putting clips about Gin's past to tease us, like in different episodes and in every single opening for the anime. They just made it more obvious with this trailer and they did it Again when the last movie came out. That movie was supposed to be way more about Gin's past or so they made us think. At this point, if they did do something with Gin's past they would ruin the best joke ever played on any series fans ever. (Or theory #2: Gin has PTSD from his involvement in the war. Every flash back in the series about the past all actually happen in Gin's head all the time. god how were you wrong..i wonder how you felt after watching these recent arcs.. even though sorachi says most of the times he doesn't know what's h doing, i think he knew the main plot from the beginning. there are sooo many fore shadowing even in early episode. funny thing is the 2nd movie came out in 2013 and they showed the 5 year into the future edo destroyed, the SS arc is coming in 2018, 5 years from the 2nd movie, and edo is about to be destroyed...well edo tower is at least.
I don't understand how takasugi got the eye injury here when he got it from oboro. I understand this is a troll but this troll movie trailer but this troll used some stuff that actually happened in Gintoki's past so i don't understand what they did here. Unless that was a temporarily eye injury before the permanent one takasugi gets.
cuz the reason takasugi's eye being injured wasn't revealed in the manga until shogun assassination arc, also it's not the first time the animators got that kind of mistake since the manga haven't go that far at that time(same with kamui's black hair)
