What's a good measure for survivability? I'm on my first build right now, level 30ish melee character with 2h. Im one shotting almost everything but I don't want to be too squishy for the later levels.
Hi pohx, there's one thing that i dont understand, like for example, Drain essence (the necromancer ability) has the gravechill passive that converts 100% of aether damage into cold. Does that mean that all the aether damage is converted into cold (for all abilities) or just for drain essence? Thanks a lot.
if its a passive that augments a active then the bonus counts only for that skill, so if you have aether dmg on your lets say bneharvest thing that wont be converted
another question is WHEN will it be converted. In the skill description there would be still written "aether damage" but we know, that it will be converted. But I am confused if just cold damage + % or still aether damage + % would apply to the skill. Would be pretty strong if both would apply to it.
no it doesn't conversion on skills apply before any modifiers on equipmentas such only % cold damage counts toward your damage. Conversion on equipment also apply before % modifiers on equipment but after % modifiers on skills. pretty complicated i know lol.
If you put points into a class, but end up not wanting to use it, you can hit Undo Points, and it'll unselect the class... If you want until you close the window? You are stuck with it.
You put one pistol in right hand, the other pistol in left, and pull the triggers. heh If you go inquisitor, he gets a passive skill that allows him to dual wield pistols from start, else you would have to get an item that allows you pistol dual wielding. Gunslinger relic which recipe is sold in first town gives it, a marauder belt gives it, a gunslinger jacket gives it etc...
I want to know more about stat allocation early game. What is better to do? Max out your main damaging skill (if its like cadence and doesn't bump up the energy cost,) or pumping into mastery. Also when you get dual class at level 10, where should your points go then? Is it better to grab a few activatables that might help your main class skills then stop leveling it? Or should you just always pump into main class until a certain level where the other class passive shine?
depends on what you want, and what kind of build it is. If it's a spellcaster build, probably max the spells (because they're the majority of your damage) but if it's a weapon based or attack build, assess your damage as you go, and if you feel you need more damage, pump the skill. If you need stats, pump mastery.
