@@fisheyenomikoShows how Jon is more like his father yet Jordan has the powers. Classic one son is the kryptonian side and the other is the human side. 👏
Writers - "You thought we'd make you cry at the start of the episode. Surprise it's the end of the episode." Also the show continuing to show Jordan might have the powers but Jon is still just as much a hero in his own way. His scene when Jordan was freaking out was so well done
I know not a lot of people may watch, but I totally agree with you - this is the most underrated superhero show on TV, and probably ever. It's also by far the best live action version of Superman. It obviously didn't do the groundbreaking that Christopher Reeves did in the original films, but this show presents the most consistently relatable, complex, and comics-accurate version of Superman we've ever seen.
Anyone else feel like what Pea did to Bruno’s main guard is exactly what Daisy could do if she didn’t hold back her quakes all the time? I immediately thought of that as soon as it happened with a gigantic shocked face 😂
I really feel like this show is the strongest superhero show to come out of the CW. It’s truly fantastic. Well written, emotional, great acting, the humor always lands and everything feels genuine. I feel like I tear up or cry each episode. It really does justice to Superman and his supporting characters. I love it so much.
the show had a lot of help from hbomax i think cw's usual people were kept out and thank god. otherwise we would have writing quality on the same level as batwoman probably. the writing of superman and lois is above all those other shows that fell to woke writing and lost most of their viewers. in fact it is written better than arrows first season which is a high bar for a superhero tv show
It's kinda hard watching Lois go through chemo, because my mom's recently been going through chemo as well, but that hasn't dampened my love for this show
Everyone knows Superman would never let someone die. The easy counter to that, though, is “what if he had to? What if he knew he couldn’t save them? What would he do then?” That scene with Peia at the end is exactly what he’d do. Absolute perfect depiction of the character and a perfect moment in general.
This episode was SO good. One of the things I've loved about this storyline/season is that all the characters on both sides of the conflict are reasonable enough to take a step back and talk things over. A good example is back in "Guess Who's Coming to Dinner": Even after Piea attacked him, as soon as she broke down, Clark *immediately* offered to get her help. And Bruno was smart and reasonable enough to know he meant it, and let him take her to get that help. And this ep... man. It was so wonderful! BTW, as someone who's had a number of surgeries, I'm actually glad they covered the pre-surgery stuff. It was so nice to see Lois' friends and family being there for her. Anyway... I really liked this reaction, and 'm gonna watch the ones for the last two eps, and maybe go back and watch the ones for the rest of this season. (-:
Yeah, Aaron, I got teary when Jonathan was helping Jordan through his panic attack, too. What a good brother. And I love that Clark was there, but he let Jonathan handle it. Also, between the other huge emotional moments in the show, I don't know if anyone else noticed, but there was a moment when Natalie arrived at the Bazoomba party where she went over to Sarah, and two of them had this sweet little side hug like, "I"m miserable. You're miserable. We're here for each other." Lana mentioned she talked to Clark about Kyle finding out at the Bazoombas party, so I think Kyle knows who knows, even if it wasn't stated outright. Even if he hasn't talked to Lana about it, I think it would make sense for Clark's sit-down discussion to have started with, "This is the very short list of people who know." I mean, technically Lois still doesn't know that Jordan developed X-ray vision, but I think it's safe to assume that she'll know by the time the next episode comes out, if she doesn't already. Chrissy and Lana know they both know the other knows because Chrissy was trying to get help from Lana dealing with Kyle's suspicions. Lana definitely knows about Jordan because she was there when Jordan's eyes lasered when Sarah found out. And Sarah very clearly said it was "someone else" that saved her at her DUI crash. Plus there was that episode where Jordan was begging Lana to let him tell Sarah and she told him off. Maybe it is an assumption, but I think everyone who knows knows who else knows, so they know who they can talk to and who they can't. And I do think they all know about Jordan. I half-expected Peia to figure it out before she died. She witnessed Superman cry out "Jordan!" when he was shot. Between having spent time with Clark and hearing about the boys from Lois, I definitely felt it was a possibility. But I guess she was too distracted by her many problems to put the pieces together. Actually there have been other moments like that. Remember when Tal Ro was imprisoned by the DoD? He and Superman had conversations about Clark's family right there with the cameras and microphones in the facility recording them. I thought Anderson would figure it out, but it took him seeing the Bizzarro Kents to figure it out. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if some of the DoD people HAVE figured it out, but they don't say anything because 1. Their jobs are highly classified anyway, and 2. Loyalty to General Lane and Superman.
Superman has never been one of my favorite comic book characters, but damn do I love this show. Also, I tend not to like recasting established characters in tv shows, but Michael Bishop has done a fantastic job integrating himself with the rest of the cast. No hate to Jordan Elsass because he's a fine actor too but I buy Michael Bishop and Alexander Garfin as brothers a lot more. With only 2 more episodes left this season, I really hope they don't cancel this show. I would like for it to keep going but if anything, one final season.
This show is so goddamn great! Easily some of the best Superman live action content EVER! They really GET who the character is and what he represents. Just amazing
This show hasn’t disappointed me once, even plotlines I don’t like at the beginning have such a decent and mature resolution I can’t help but enjoy them looking back (Kyle cheating being a big one).
43:12 idk if youll see this comment but in the episode after lana finds out about clarke. Lois tells lana about jordan in her office. Then we got scenes about jordan talking to lana because he wanted to tell sara. and then when sarah saw jordans eyes go red in the last season episode before than finale, she had the fight with lana "you knew, didnt you?". sarah also said that she wouldnt have broken up with him if she knew so i dont understand why she wanted to just be friends in this season.
I think it wasn't just the secret. Her family was falling apart, she kissed someone else while she was away from Smallville....there were other problems. I think her arc is trying to figure herself out, and sometimes that means finding out who you are without a significant other. That feeling of being stuck in a small town is being portrayed excellently with Sara.
i LOVE the way they wrote the mannheims this season. like they are characters that are bad, but they aren’t bad characters and i always love when writers make characters like that

And Mateo acting there was great, the way his voice cracked really sold me that this was a kid who just watched someone die for the first time, and by his own mother no less.
If they stick the landing on these final episodes, not only will this season be the best of the show, it might also be the best season of any of the CW superhero shows. This is some of the best Superman storytelling we’ve ever gotten.
No... Flash season 1, arrow season 2, superman and Louis season 1. Have all been better. Idk this season has been alright imo way to much focus on Sarah. Also the recasting of Johnathan.
I believe Kyle does know abut Jordan. I forget when, but I believe there was a quick line that was said by someone that made me believe he is aware that Jordan is the person with the powers.
I really hope that lex luthor is the main villain next season, he'll be getting out of prison now, and bizarro is usually connected to him, ah, can't wait.
Wow! Easily the best episode of the season, and arguably the best episode of the entire season! Kyle, after finding out the truth about Clark, having a fallout with Chrissy was something I saw coming. But I was really glad when he reconciled with her at the end of the episode, after having a talk with Lana. I was surprised that Kyle took it better than Lana. Really glad he knows now! Sarah, after getting told off by Jordan, opening up to her parents was very emotional. Inde Navarrette knocked it out of the park with her performance. Her becoming a waitress at the diner was something I saw coming! Looking forward to seeing her there more often. I also loved it when Sarah told her mom that she thinks that Jordan hates her, and her mom assured her that that is not even possible. I really hope Sarah and Jordan reconcile soon, and share a floating kiss. The scene where Kyle talked to Sarah in the diner once again showcased Erik Valdez's incredible acting! The Mannheim's story line was the most emotional story line in the entire series! I was not expecting Peia to die in this episode! Daya Vaidya knocked it out of the park with her performance, and Tyler Hoechlin brought out his best acting when he tried to comfort Peia as she was dying. Matteo and Bruno's reaction to her dying was the most realistic acting in the entire series. I was surprised that they are already ending the Mannheim's story line with just 2 episodes left this season. I really thought they would stick around until the end of the season. But with their story line wrapping up soon, that means Lex Luthor is showing up in the next episode!!! So looking forward to seeing him! Jordan's X-Ray vision coming in was something I had forgotten about, in terms of his powers continuing to develop. Michael Bishop's (Jonathan) performance, when Jonathan was trying to help calm Jordan down was so good.! I loved it when Jordan told Jonathan he saw a woman give birth to triplets, well written humor. Lois having surgery to completely remove her cancer was well done. Elizabeth Tulloch knocked it out of the park with her performance. I am really curious though, as to if Lois' cancer is really gone? Will something happen to bring it back, or are they completely done with it? Should be interesting to find out! The ending scene where Bizarro is revealed to be awake, and undergoing some kind of transformation, seems to confirm a theory that me and someone had predicted months ago. Bizarro is becoming Doomsday! And if Doomsday is coming, that means Superman has to die! The writers have already teased that this season ends on a cliffhanger, and I really believe that this will be the cliffhanger. Plus it would be great misdirect! They kept having you worry about Lois this season, but in the end Clark is the one that dies! Lex Luthor is going to be out for blood when he is released from prison. He is going after Lois, and will try to completely destroy her life. This is going to be so much fun! So excited to see where they go with these last 2 episodes! Had it not been for the ending with Bizarro, this could've easily been the finale of this season! But I am intrigued to see what Lex Luthor does! Out of a 10 I would give it... 10 out of 10
😭😭 no it's not. Season 1 episode 11 is the best imo. But this is not close. Wasting so much time on Sarah sub plot... She's so annoying. No one cares. I'd say solid 8/10
@@jimmylee9120 While I do agree that episode 11 is a great one also, I disagree with you saying that no one cares about Sarah. When the writing is good for her, she is a very likable character. I really hope her and Jordan reconcile very soon!
@@thaddeusskywalker5293 she is not likeable at all I started hating her when she said some insanley rude sh*t to her mother got slapped then started acting like some sort of victim and like she did nothing wrong, then she went and lied/manipulated her father, into siding with her. Total b**ch move
@@thaddeusskywalker5293 Yeah, I'm suprised that there's such vocal hate for Sarah in particular. She'll do practically nothing for an entire episode, and someone will still leaving a comment shitting on the character. Personally I find her character much more relatable to my own childhood compared to any of the other kids.
They have been bringing up Lex Luthor constantly throughout the season, and now Bruno is revealing everything. That means Lex is being released soon. There are still four episodes left (i think) and i think Lex will be appearing very soon, if not here then definitely season 4.
I wonder if the talk about responsibility that Kyle gave Sara is foreshadowing, maybe she’s going to get superpowers. Pretty far fetched but it was my first thought when watching that scene. Felt a lot like an Uncle Ben speech.
I'm still in awe that more people don't realize just how good this version of Superman is. They are too far up Henry Cavill's backside to see just how good Tyler Hoechlin plays the character.
If this show doesn't get picked up for a fourth season, even if it's another network then I'm going to riot..... even if it's by myself 😂😂, however I'm sure I'd have support.
Superman's never known about Bizarro. As far as "the good guys" are aware, the cure was made using Clark's blood that get stole from the DOD. I presume Manheim's confession will alert them to Bizarro.
@@BeyondTrash-xe1vs They are fully aware that Bizzaro's body was stolen from the DOD. Irons questioned Bruno about it in a previous episode. And it's not something they wouldn't notice was missing
Hopefully now that the cancer storyline is over we can get to some superboy/superman stuff. I almost forgot I was watching a Superman show at a few points this season. Skipped half of it because it was so boring. All talking and "drama" crap. Gimme a villain-of-the-week anyday.
@@ThePandaaa It's just manufactured drama. No one acts like a real person anymore. Tonight's episode where Jordan went rogue and exposed himself was just too much.

And Mateo acting there was great, the way his voice cracked really sold me that this was a kid who just watched someone die for the first time, and by his own mother no less.
June 27th THE ROOM is back in cinemas guys
If they stick the landing on these final episodes, not only will this season be the best of the show, it might also be the best season of any of the CW superhero shows. This is some of the best Superman storytelling we’ve ever gotten.
No... Flash season 1, arrow season 2, superman and Louis season 1. Have all been better. Idk this season has been alright imo way to much focus on Sarah. Also the recasting of Johnathan.
Agreed. This season has been so incredibly good so far. I really hope they stick the landing.
@@jimmylee9120 Too much focus on Sarah? She's gotten no more screen time than any other side characters have.
HEY AARON, I would just like to remind U that Lana & Sarah found out about Jordan during that Fight with Bizzaro Lana back in season 2
I am really dreading the idea that they're going to cancel this...
I believe Kyle does know abut Jordan. I forget when, but I believe there was a quick line that was said by someone that made me believe he is aware that Jordan is the person with the powers.
Last meal (if we're going grilled cheese/sandwiches) would definitely be a Monte Cristo, the real battered and deep fried kind :)
I really hope that when the DCU hits a point of multiversal level stuff I would love to see Tyler on the big screen as Supes
Such a well-acted show. If by chance it does get canceled, Max really needs to pick it up. Then, I'll have zero reasons to watch the network.
Facts 😂
I really hope that lex luthor is the main villain next season, he'll be getting out of prison now, and bizarro is usually connected to him, ah, can't wait.
Is Bizzaro becoming Doomsday?
6:15 yeah, last episode made me feel weird with how lana and sarah were *both* gaslighting kyle up and down
I haven’t had a Blind Wave video in ages as I don’t want these videos, can we get some movie reactions please
I love these tv show reactions! It fills a niche unlike movie reactors who are plentiful on RUclips.
@@BeyondTrash-xe1vs I really hope her and Jordan make up in the next 2 episodes. Based on something I saw, it looks like he will save her life again.
10:12 "For Mom"
i think lana definitely knows about jordan
They have been bringing up Lex Luthor constantly throughout the season, and now Bruno is revealing everything. That means Lex is being released soon. There are still four episodes left (i think) and i think Lex will be appearing very soon, if not here then definitely season 4.
Best CW show since Flash Season 4 Arrow Season 5. If this show released in that time it would have been taken of so hard
I wonder if the talk about responsibility that Kyle gave Sara is foreshadowing, maybe she’s going to get superpowers. Pretty far fetched but it was my first thought when watching that scene. Felt a lot like an Uncle Ben speech.
Please no
I'm still in awe that more people don't realize just how good this version of Superman is. They are too far up Henry Cavill's backside to see just how good Tyler Hoechlin plays the character.
The best show goin
Jonathan is just the best character
If this show doesn't get picked up for a fourth season, even if it's another network then I'm going to riot..... even if it's by myself 😂😂, however I'm sure I'd have support.
Did- did they all just forget about Bizarro? Did Superman even ask about him?
Superman's never known about Bizarro. As far as "the good guys" are aware, the cure was made using Clark's blood that get stole from the DOD.
I presume Manheim's confession will alert them to Bizarro.
@@BeyondTrash-xe1vs They are fully aware that Bizzaro's body was stolen from the DOD. Irons questioned Bruno about it in a previous episode. And it's not something they wouldn't notice was missing
I'm going to miss Drake John Jim Billy Bob Hotshot. R.I.P. henchman Supreme.
From what I know... Everyone who knows knows about others who know. You know?
Oh, the name of the next episode is Injustice. That's interesting
So…. Wasn’t Lois flat chested at the start of this show? Why is she suddenly vavoomed? Also I absolutely LOVE Pia’s power!!! It is the JAM!!!
Possibly a really dumb suggestion but just to put it on the radar, I wonder if they’d enjoy VGHS
This show is just sadness with amazing writing and visuals
Lana saw Jordan fight against reverse world Lana
When will y’all react to the new Vinland saga season?
12:59 😨 HOLY BLACK BOLT!!
The other CW shows are cool but juvenile in comparison.
i Think they will end the Season with Lex coming free and we wont get a season 4 and i will be CRYING
Eric qouting immortal
Hopefully now that the cancer storyline is over we can get to some superboy/superman stuff. I almost forgot I was watching a Superman show at a few points this season. Skipped half of it because it was so boring. All talking and "drama" crap. Gimme a villain-of-the-week anyday.
This is literally the best season of the show tho!
@@ThePandaaa It's just manufactured drama. No one acts like a real person anymore. Tonight's episode where Jordan went rogue and exposed himself was just too much.
Bruno Mannheim is def not a psychopath.
Yeah, he's a pretty awful person, but he's no psychopath.
Super cancer respondant wins.
I love Aaron big muscles 😍
This ain’t no Superman show it’s a documentary on how Superman lives his life on Earth and he has face the same shit everyone does where even his powers are useless
Also way to real if of talks get to you emotional level
