I recently listened to your podcast with samflowwolf, and you mentioned you had gathered research on the long term effects of spinal fusion 40 even 50 yrs later? Could you explain what you found, at least for those with their entire thoracic spine fused up to L2 or L3, are things more optimistic or pessimistic? How does the outcomes, consequences and longevity of the fusion differ if say a 40-50 yr old gets their fusion compared to a 20 yr old?
Hi, I don't quite remember what I said exactly but it will probably have been that we don't have enough research on this topic! You might be interested in this conversation which I had with a former spine surgeon ruclips.net/user/liveS7oe5M0ASXs?si=BnxX4Ta_Nal0BpyO
Yeah i commented on that video already a long time ago. I dont trust that surgeon and think he is bias. Id rather get an answer culminating from your own personal experience meeting, treating and interviewing adult spinal fusion patients from all walks of life while we wait for official clinical trials which i dont believe will ever see the light of day due to the impossibility of making such a long term study. From your experience which way do you think the pendelum swings more towards to?
Your yoga bolster link is the same as for Pilates ball. Feel free to update it.
