Patrick, I got the Wedding Bands 3 days ago. They are freaking AMAZING!!!!! Well worth the wait. You sir are now part of my (and my soon to be wifes) life!! Keep up the MOST FANTASTIC work i have ever seen in custom rings!!!!
I love how you make rings for all groups of people and the steps you go through to show us how you do it, you are a truly amazing ring designer, Patrick.
Beautiful result as usual. The contrast of textures is lovely. I dont wear rings but i love the materials you use and the imagination that goes into your rings. Your video production is better than most on youtube too! Have you ever used mature English yew? The colour contrast from old wood to new is striking and its a very durable wood! (used for bows and quarterstaffs)
Beautiful ring! Great macro photos too. Im in love with the whole process of making these special rings. I would kill for a traineeship at your workshop.
Hey Patrick, definitely one of my favourites that you’ve made. The Antler looks superb 👌 I like the juxta of the materials. Think this came out great. Keep up the great work
Man this and and the shipwreck one have to be my favorites. You have some amazing skill. I hope that in the future you get the recognition that you deserve.
If you had a more powerful lathe you could drill titanium easier. I use the low geer with mist coolant and spot drill and go straight to a 1/2 Morse taper bit . The bit dulls out because titanium eats steel bits for breakfast but a quick resharpen takes 20 seconds. I normally part off and and enlarge the hole with another bit or just use the boring bar. I only have morse taper bits in 1/8 increments after 1/2 inch so i just pick the closest and bore the rest of the way.
You might benefit from trying some lathe tooling from A.R. Warner. They make insert tooling but with high speed steel inserts which tend to work better on smaller lathes that lack the rigidity and feeds/speeds necessary to properly utilize carbide. Trying your hand at sharpening high speed steel blanks on a bench grinder is a good idea too as you can make tools to fit any shape or situation.
If you used Damascus steel and etched it in acid and then used organic materials on the side it could be new. And I like this new style. It allows you to be both asymmetric and symmetric based on what you want and the material you choose. Oh and I like the new shots at the end. They really fit with the theme.👍
Patrick, I am a huge fan of your works. Here is an idea for a future ring : Damascus made of titanium and meteorite and a golden skull. Make the ring a size 6.5.
Unfortunately, I have an uncontrollable compulsion to correct this common misuse of the word "viscous" - even though the subject has almost nothing to do with your excellent content. Viscous is synonymous with "thick" not "runny". So a fluid with a high viscosity resists flowing, while a low viscosity fluid flows readily. I still enjoyed the video :)
I'm loving these ring videos. Need the serpent one if it comes down in price in the future. But unless you Yanks have changed the meaning of the word (which I'd be nonplussed about), then viscosity is how gloopy something is. So if runnier then water, it's the opposite of very viscous. (around 8mins in). Keep the videos coming. Thumbs up.
Hey Patrick I'm beginning to make my own Damascus rings at home and was wondering what it is you use to cool your rings the liquid you use thanks! Also not to be greedy or needy but I have a few questions about your ring making process if you wouldn't mind teaching me a bit
I just keep going back to your vids just to pick up more detail while I am getting tools and equipment together. what is a good source for the raw materials used?
You can check out this ring on my site here: bit.ly/2JrKNq6 Don't forget to use the discount: NATURE15 Also, check out my Ring Supplies website here: patrickadairsupplies.com/
I have a great idea for a ring. I suggest an obsidian faceted antler inlay with an etched damascus bezel and base with comfort fit with a clear coat finish. It may or may not be a little on the wide side but it will look astonishing
Hello Patrick i send a mail to you and i anxious to an awnser , its about the real glowstone Lapis lazuli ring , I've been looking for a long time for a ring like that . Could you make one for me? can i have ? please please. Sucess
Could you make the one ring from Lord of the Rings with glowing letters? Maybe collaborate with someone to carve the letters? I can't buy it, I just thought that it would be an impressive project.
Beautiful ring yet again. I'm curious to know if you keep all the metal shavings you get from making rings and if you have any ideas on maybe using them in some way?
Hi I like your videos. Thanks for time pulling them together. Can you please share what resin you use on the oak barrel and antler. I've tried cactus juice on antler for knife handles but it wasn't thick enough.
Maybe you can use kapton tape instead, it resists the heat better than the electric tape. I thought that the charred part is from the inside of the barrel, btw nice ring
It’s would have been cool if you had the antler and oak pieces in half and glued them with oak, antler, titanium, antler, oak that would be something cool for you to make
I have a question. I've been lookin at some of your rings, and like many of them, but if my memory serves right when i last checked my ring size, it was like size 17 or something, but yours seem to go up to 15. is there a way to custom order a size, when i get the ring size tester kit in and confirm it anyway.

Wife's or wifes I'm wondering how lucky you are lol
I love how you make rings for all groups of people and the steps you go through to show us how you do it, you are a truly amazing ring designer, Patrick.
These videos are what I watch when I can’t sleep and they are just super relaxing and calming (not boring) and the help a ton with sleep
So satisfying watching the materials being machined. Great work.
I love anything with antlers in it, I collect antlers in dream catchers, & other stuff with antlers in it!!
I find this ring to be one of your very best !
It is definitely very creative and original while keeping a rather simple and pure look. Great job !
You're a freaking wizard, Pat. Killer design
I use this to fall asleep, it's very satisfying and calming to watch.
+2 Attack
+5 Magic resistance
Pretty sure it was bugged, it's +2 Attack, +5 Nature Resistance, +5 Nature Magic. It got patched.
Valter Fox good to know lol
I say just keep doing what your doing with combining material. I will keep watching
Absolutely outstanding!!!! My favorite so far
Love watching these videos, always enjoy watching talented craftsmen work!
probably my favorite ring you've ever done
Love the combination of materials, Patrick. Beautiful!
The charred part is the inside
Procrastinator I was just going to say that lol
Correct. 👍🏻
Not sure he's old enough to drink whiskey, so we'll give him a pass. ;)
I think hes older than me
Nature is the greatest Designer :D
Super cool ring. Always impressed by the materials you use to create these amazing rings, never know what might come next!
Your the most talented ring maker I've ever heard of Patrick. I've got the ring bug now, and I want one of yours. Cheers!
Tiamascus and superconductors are cool but i find this ring increadibly beautiful, i would love to see those materials combined with amber
Nice work! This is without question my favorite of the rings I've seen you do. Phenomenal stuff.
*TOTAL AWESOMENESS*
*Brilliantly Done*
This is a beautiful ring! Nice job, and a great edition to your collection!
A gold enfused whisky barrel oak and Damascus steel ring would be really awesome
Another amazing ring! Awesome work!

A favorite for sure. Keep up the great work.

Enjoyed the video, the process, the materials and the presentation. A fan!
love the ring, I have never seen anything like it.
Love the Nature ring concepts Patrick!! I have been itching to make some rings, made a couple and have been making my own ear plugs using burl wood!!!
Trick is to like the video before you watch it because its bloody awesome every time

Amazing ring! Great job!
amazing ring!!!! stainless steel and japanese red maple and sumac!!!!
awesome ring... it would look cool also with a dark damascus patern!
Looks super cool!

Stablized maple burl and a metal so copper or silver or some nice dark material such as some sort of stone or ebony

Wiskey and wine barrels are chared on the inside to ad flavor to the product aging in the barrel.
You should do something like fill the voids in the antler with diamond powder, and purple glow dust
You should send those titanium shavings to Peter Brown to make something with in epoxy. :D Cheers! Chris.
Did you just sign a RUclips comment

Love this one.
Amazing work and videography!

Gotta love the smell of antler eh!
Mammoth tooth is worse

Lignum Vitae and Brazilian Ebony would make a nice combination for a ring...
I really like Ringf
One ring to rule them y’all and in the Texas bind them
Do you seal your rings in any way to prevent corrosion and/or discolouration on the finger?
Need 2 of these
I just keep going back to your vids just to pick up more detail while I am getting tools and equipment together. what is a good source for the raw materials used?

I can chug more beers than you Patrick.

I think this is the one i want to buy for my mom for christmas. It's so pretty
This ring is sweet. How much extra do you leave for the inside of the ring before the polishing finish?
Any idea on how to do inlay with a bone or antler? I'm completely perplexed as to how you can do this.
Beautiful ring yet again. I'm curious to know if you keep all the metal shavings you get from making rings and if you have any ideas on maybe using them in some way?

Whiskey antler and elk barrel would have been way cooler but this is pretty cool too
You rock bro!

That’s a pretty ringf
Damn fine work
Love this! 🔥🔥🔥
What do you do with all the scrap metal after the ring is done?
The AntTiOak ring!
wow.. as a hunter and a homemade whiskey maker i found this to be an amazing build man gjgjgjgj
I would be interested in seeing a ring made from solid stone like sand stone.
Beautiful
Hey, what are his nature levels...?
Oh... OH MY GOSH! THEY’RE OVER 9000
wonderfull job !
Patrick, where do you purchase your cutters for cutting titanium?
Thanks for your great videos.
Yay new ring
It would be really cool if you found a porous rock with lots of large holes and fill it with glow powder resin!
That’d be sick!
Patrick Adair Designs thanks for replying! I hope you imagine what I do! :D
Are oak barrels not charred on the inside before using them?’
You should consider doing giveaways! You could advertise on social media and stuff.
What is the tool called that you're using to slide back and forth to shave down on the Rings
What is the size of the ID and OF that you start out with when making a ring blank?
this really cool but the chard part of the oak is the inside of the barrel
Yeah man.

Awesome!
Antler is actually a bit stronger than wood and in contrast to bone does not tend to develope cracks as easily!
Amazing. I wonder how long this would last.. wood and all
Would you be willing to share what tools are necessary for a project like this?
This is what I want to do when I leave high school
I have to have it!
have you ever considered a computer lathe? mid range ones are accurate and you can put all you various cutting bits into it
wow, I just got into your supply site.
