all jokes aside riding a bike through a zombie apocalypse actually sounds like a great idea and it helps you increase your cardio which is important in the zombie world
(Edit) okay in 4 months I've had a bunch of people try and tell me why its not a great idea but when you take into consideration the world has absolutely gone to shit you may not have that many modes of transportation left. Yes cars offer protection but they require fuel which eventually runs out but let's be honest if you get swarmed while in a car all you are doing is delaying the inevitable. Also popped tires is a problem with cars as well other than being in foot I doubt there are any PERMANENT modes of transportation in the zombie apocalypse. Point is its the Apocalypse we are all screwed anyway I just feel that riding a bike is the way to go in terms of silent long transportation
It's also quiet so you don't draw attention
Generally speaking I can't think of a good reason not to use a bike, the only justification for not using one is if you intend to ride very very long distances...
But an hour or 2 on the bike seems manageable...

Ahhh the Ocean Avenue checkpoint horde fight. Got there with 3 other random people and we got our asses kicked so bad but it's hands down the best fight in the entire game for sheer difficulty and intensity.

I do like it. My only complaint is no new game plus. I do kinda wish it was open world, but its still fun as hell and the locales are cool.

Dying light was good for that. 3 player. One person drop kicks a zombie, and the other two kick the sh*t out of it where it lands.

This man is probably the only youtuber able to talk bad about game whilst making it look fun to play.
I mean its a Dead Island game. Combat was basically put above everything else and it was definitely made for co-op more so than single player since the single player walk through is ridiculously easy once you get the best mods, but as soon as you add other people and players into the mix the game basically becomes an entirely different game. I feel like people who've never played zombie games expect way too much from zombie games because this game is about as bog standard as they come which isn't a bad thing, it's just a taste thing imo.

@@robertsteiner4696 i think people forget games like this and dead rising legit have the worst story plots but where massive success stories because these games made and perfected the entire zombie hack and slash genre which also had exploration, crafting systems, goofy places to make it unique every time which ends up out weights the entire story which people for some reason have this brain rot that not story=bad game, shit if i want an actual story im gonna go watch a tv show or read a book a game was and is meant to be fun and dead island 2 smashed it into another realm.

This game looks truly next gen. Also it’s great fun. I don’t like playing with friends, but my friends kept inviting me. But I’m enjoying it even with friends. I can always go back and play alone. Would recommend it.

I went to buy this game yet to my surprise there was no horde of 30 year old karens screaming at how the game promotes violence. This already says to me how great the game is. Not only that, but it also teaches you about the anatomy of humans in a video game. I am learning so much about the human body in this game that i became a self renowned anatomy doctor.

this game in a nutshell was amazing, i had such high expectations , so i will admit it started off really slow and bland, i get that we are low level, but weapons literally felt like they tickled the zombies, as you slowly progress it gets more and more fun, i will admit the game gets buggy the more friends join your game(with 3 it feels significantly laggy compared to 2 people or 1 offline), and the times the game has crashed is becuz my computer was overworked due to a lack of a great setup(which the game doesn't really need much to run), the story was pretty dope too but felt very short and the ending seemed very rushed, as if they just wanted to throw the game out quick , the actual action, gameplay, gore/flesh system was beautiful, they did an amazing job, and they deserve way more credit, i truly believe this game was way better than the OG dead islands, mainly becuz the graphics were great, they just need to fix the issue with online, but i'm sure over time it will get a lot better, and also they need to add a much longer story or add more things to do becuz i feel like although it may be fun, this game will eventually run out of things to do......id rank this game a 9.5/10 def worth a download, and by far one of the best games i've played ina while, def a lot better than recent releases.... if you love action/blood/gore/zombies it's def a game you wanna buy.... this is DEF a zombie game!💎🔥
Game was fun with friends sure, but not at all better than the original dead Island. It's honestly not even close, and the bar is pretty low imo. Don't get me wrong, I loved playing Dead Island 1, but it was a pretty mediocre game all things considered. Fun as a generic zombie slasher, and the over-the-top campy humor was actually pretty funny at times, but the game was really shallow. This game lacks even more depth than the original, you honestly can't even compare the two games in good faith. DI2 has fewer and much smaller regions to explore, way less weapon mods and customization options, a much shorter campaign, a pretty empty crafting system since they decided to make consumables recharge instead of craftable (seriously, you're always full on crafting materials because there is almost nothing to spend them on), fewer miscellaneous tasks to complete in the overworld and the graphics are pretty comparable. DI2 looks better of course, but not by a wide margin, and it certainly does not hold up to modern games anymore. This game was created to be released years ago to capitalize off of the original Dead Island market, and it definitely looks and feels like it.
The game is more like a 5/10, and would never be worth the $60 price tag if you're playing it alone. Only with friends would I suggest anybody spend that much money on it, and even then only expect to get a weekend's worth of playtime with it. Otherwise it's like this guy said in the video, if you like zombie games this is definitely a zombie game. Worse than the original, which itself was fairly mediocre, and that's about it.
