I know this is about 10 years old, but, you can see on the close-up at 2:26 where the 2 metal pieces that hold the aluminum rudder are too narrow and hit the plastic. I'm trying to figure out how to get the rudder not to hit. Thinking of just installing it from the bottom (upside down from how he put it in). Anyone have any tips, because the rubbing on the plastic sucks.

I have found and installed the washer. All is well now! Where did I put that darn little hairclip ... heh heh.
Ahh ... he has a little rubber washer at the top, to keep it from rubbing ...
Do you have to manually lower the rudder into the water before starting?
