Join us on our unforgettable family adventure as we explore the breathtaking beauty of the Northwoods in Minnesota! We share our final day at a campsite nestled on the shores of a remote lake. It was an incredible getaway for our family of four.
After enjoying a bit of luxury with a refreshing hot shower, we set out on an exciting journey to Grand Portage, a charming town located on the Canadian border. The day was filled with awe-inspiring sights and unforgettable experiences. Our first stop was an incredible overlook on Lake Superior, where we were treated to panoramic views that left us speechless.
Next, we ventured to Grand Portage State Park, home to a majestic waterfall that serves as a natural divide between the United States and Canada. Standing in awe of the falls, we marveled at the sheer force of nature and the symbolic significance of this international boundary.
As the day wound down, we returned to our cozy cabin, where a crackling fire and serene lake awaited us. To cap off our incredible journey, we indulged in a delicious homemade nacho feast and reflected on the amazing week-long trip we had in the Northwoods. It was a truly magical experience, one that brought us closer as a family and allowed us to connect with nature in its purest form.

Wow, mini Niagara Falls looking across to Canada. Beautiful! It was a beautiful camping spot, but, the bugs are a turn off.

How am I just seeing this video for the first time, one of my favorites! I absolutely loved your hike to the waterfall ❤️ it really is a stunning display of nature. We live in Ontario just 20 minutes from the Niagara Falls and what a spectacular site it is as well!

I have been to two VERY powerful waterfalls, and I actually found the power of the river leading to the waterfall to be more impressive than the waterfall itself. That includes Niagara, believe it or not. I couldn't get over the immense power of the water as it barreled toward the falls.

@@WimpyWorkouts You realize that if you fell in, even close to the shore, there would be no way you could get out. Even if it were way up river. It's overwhelming. I noticed this also at this waterfall in Ohiopyle, which is the small town near Frank Lloyd Wright's Fallingwater. The river down town is suprisingly powerful. I hear reports of people falling in and drowning every few years.

when your baby is gassy/colic crying, in Mex Am fams we give babies Olive OIL on their LiL baby spoon with 1-2 granules of salt (no more than that for salt). this coats the tummy.
