- Lavily, Kat, and I are taking a trip to the Pokemon Tower in Lavender Town, and we’re ready to find some ghosts! Join us on our ghost-hunting adventure and help me find the icy ghost queen of winter, Froslass! Throughout today’s journey, we’ll be making a custom Smart Doll version of the pokemon, complete with ice crystals, a meticulously tailored Japanese kimono that we’ll try to make as authentic as possible, and frosty lace details you won’t want to miss.

I feel like a fun little detail you could have added and hinted at the pokemon a little more was to ahve the Kimono Right over Left. It's used to those who have passed and since Froslass is a ghost type it could still keep to the idea and that subtle nod to the typing.
I was JUST thinking this! Otherwise, the doll is lovely, and everything looks beautiful.

Froslass is a beautiful name for her.
For the bone like structure of Froslass, you could have gone with a mask that looks like the bone like structure of the pokemon. Not one that is permanently stuck to the head but one that you could place on it with, say magnets to hold it in place, but could be taken off. Sort of like an Oni mask or one of the masks the Onbu in Naruto use. It would have made the faceup much simpler for you.
An easy way to turn fabric tubes right way out is to use a wood dowel with the end or ends domed. If you make one yourself from a cheap wood dowel for a craft store, I would get some sandpaper of a minimum of 400 grit and sand it smooth. I would first wet the dowel so all the loose fibers on the surface stand up. It's best to use a damp rag for this. Let the dowel dry fully, then sand it. Once sanded, I would spray it with a clear lacquer. Sand this coat with a fine sandpaper of 600 grit or finer. Do this at least twice. It will ensure it is totally smooth and it won't catch on the fabric. If you don't want to go through all those steps, get a rod of PCV, ABS, or similar and sand the ends into a dome. Make sure it is a rod and not a pipe. It has to be solid, or you run the risk of damaging the fabric. You will need to sand the dome end/s down to a fine sandpaper of 600 or better. I would also use a lighter and kiss the dome ends with it to make sure they are as smooth as possible. Remember only to kiss the ends. You don't want to melt the ends to the point of deforming them. If you have a buffing wheel on a rotary tool, I would use that instead of using a lighter if you are not comfortable using open flames on plastic.
It is a gorgeous doll, but to me, without the bone like structure on the head, she doesn't look like Froslass. She looks like a vampire version of Elsa. I'm in no way saying it's bad. it just seems incomplete to me.

this was such a fun intro to the video...i haven't even made it to the doll yet. i am such a huge pokefan and despite there actually not being any froslass in the actual lavender town's tower because froslass is a later generation XD i still enjoyed this immensely. my oldest son's favorite ghost is gengar from the very beginning when he started playing games. and now with the newest scarlet and violet, he's found a few new ghost pokemon that he likes a lot, but still not on the same level as gengar. he also has a "curse" of sorts where all, or most since he's managed to change that with violet, his ghosts are actually female. we tried to break the "curse" with arceus and brilliand diamond, but it didn't work and his shiny gengars in particular have all been female. he did manage to get a couple boy ghosts this time though, so we think his "curse" is broken, for now at least. lol.
onward to the doll! i am sure it turned out amazing though, as they always do, so i am looking forward to this!

She probably made “follow me eyes” which is a type of eyes (usually put into fur suits!) that are more inset into the head so when you turn them they appear to move and follow you!
@@KingOfGaymes I don't think it was on purpose as she used glass cabutions (probably butchered that but can't remember how it's spelled) and drawn on paper eyes.
